Been going here for years but finally putting down a review. Food and friendly service every time. In my opinion, the Koreans really nailed the way to cook fried chicken. Juicy, crunchy, and crazy flavorful on its own let alone if you add any of the sauces. (I usually get the sauces on the side). Tteokbokki is a spicy flavorful gem of a dish. I checked this place's reviews on Yelp before going so I was expecting a really great lunch experience. Not so much... It took friend and I awhile to figure out what we wanted. We decided to split a 6 piece chicken tender meal, with sweet potato fries and two sauces for $29. There's no way to know when your meal is ready unless you stand there for 10 minutes and then they just slide it on to the counter and walk away. How about a screen with the meal number, that is ready, on it? So, we got our food and sat down. The sweet potato fries were awful. They were cut like a steak fry but were limp and had some kind of a white coating on them and it was $1 extra for them. The pickled cabbage was good; there was maybe a tablespoon of cabbage in a little plastic cup. The sauces were good but each tiny cup had less than a teaspoon of sauce, at a dollar for the extra one. The chicken was good, flavorful and a bit greasy, but it is fried chicken after all. How they're getting all these 5 star reviews is beyond me. Perhaps we were there on an "off" day? The wings were crispy, tasty and perfect. Best Korean fried chicken I have experienced. The staff at the counter was friendly. It took a few minutes for my wings but they were worth the wait. This is located in the food court so you had to listen to screaming kids, shoppers and just mall noise. But I knew this going in and will definitely return. Things are a bit pricey, but for that good food, especially in a mall Food court, I'd do it again. 8 wings with pickled cabbage, sauce, fries and a drink were $23.25 before tip. So, if you think this is a Carl's Jr, Chick-Fil-A or McDonalds, think again. Be prepared to pay a little more for some major deliciousness. Great quality, great value! The tenders were crispy and succulent in the way only Korean fried chicken can be - with excellent sauces to go with it (get the honey garlic and sweet chili). I have been wanting to try this place and we finally did, and it is as good as the reviews indicate. It is important to note that it is basically fried chicken strips or wings, the magic is in the breading, cooking, and sauces. Second thing to note, it is in a mall food court, although it deserves its own restaurant. The chicken is perfectly cooked, moist, tender and not salty. The breading is crispy but not oily and the fry is clean which means they do not use old oil. The breading is a simple seasoned breading but so crispy. This allows the sauce to be captured in the crevasses of the fry and so that there are no competing flavors. I got the Hot Chili with an extra garlic soy sauce. Some people complain that you have to dip and that is correct if you order the regular strips or wings. But you can get it coated which for me makes it magic. When coated the sauce is already on the chicken and it has time to soak into the fry a little. The hot chili was not overly hot, a little sweet, and reminds me of Korean chili bbq. The garlic soy dip was very garlic with lots of umami from the soy sauce. It added an extra dimension to the chicken and was great with the fries. The fries were also perfectly fried, not oily, and only a hint of salt. Perfect for the soy dip. The staff were very friendly and professional and provided great suggestions. It is wonderful having such great food in a mall food court but I would love to see them expand to a restaurant location with more Korean street food delights. I've heard great things about this Korean chicken place located in the food court of Park Place mall, in a recent shopping trip I decided to give them a try & boy was I happy that I did. Although a little in the pricy side as I paid a little over $11 for 5 wings and a handful of French fries. Don't get me wrong they were delicious the chicken was fried to perfection crispy on the outside & tender & juicy inside, the fries were nice hot & full of flavor no need for ketchup. This Korean Fried Chicken ("KFC") shop is located at the Park Place Mall food court. There are different flavors of fried chicken to choose from, including a sweet or spicy chili, Oh My Chicken, honey soy, garlic soy, and probably another one or two flavors that I can't remember. The chicken is made-to-order so it'll take about 10-15 minutes to get your order. The food court is huge, as in it's fairly spacious with a lot of seating. I tried the 8 piece garlic soy wings and chicken mayo bowl. The wings were crispy and served with a side of fries. I like my fries with ketchup or some sort of sauce so these fries were bland. The crispy chicken could have been tossed better but the sauce was tasty on the evenly coated pieces. The chicken mayo rice bowl was delightful. It comes with pieces of fried chicken, some corn, rice, and mayo sauce. It's on the sweeter side, but you can't go wrong with crispy chicken, rice, and sauce! I would absolutely come back here for my KFC needs, and well, this is really the only place in town that you can get KFC (not to be confused with Kentucky's Fried Chicken). There is no competition (yet) for Korean Fried Chicken shops, so this is all we have for now to satisfy any KFC cravings! read more

I normally don't go into the mall. I usually park at the store I'm going to shop at and run in/out as fast as possible. Recently, I heard about a place called Oh My Chicken and I'm glad I followed the advice. I wasn't sure how to order so more pictures or an explanation would've helped. I got the large order of wings covered in garlic soy sauce. I got an additional sauce of hot chili. The wings were large and meaty. I was pretty full after 2 wings. The wings were cooked perfectly. I think the wings were double fried? The fries had a great texture and taste. The food takes a few minutes to get out so understand that you may need to wait a few minutes to get your order. I do wish they gave wet naps with the order as you can get pretty messy eating these wings. I'm glad to see a few new Korean food places come to Tucson like this, Two Hands and Cup Bop. read more

I cannot understate this enough.... The chicken and fries are soooooo soooo crispy! It's so freaking delicious and the sauce was amazing. So good! The crisp was perfect too! I love that wings come with fries, as I consider myself a French fry connoisseur. They were good with slight crisp as well. What's not to like about this locally owned eatery inside the Park Place Mall? The chicken is fried to perfection and you get to choose whether you want the sauce on the side or the tossed with the chicken. I personally don't eat fried food very often. A huge factor in this rating is that the chicken wasn't overly greasy and didn't taste like old fryer oil which often happens with fried foods. TLDR: It has become my favorite fried chicken! "That was really good chicken." I said that, five times that evening after I finished eating. This is Korean fried chicken. The breading is so good and crunchy-crispy. It doesn't get soggy even when cold. I had the 8 piece wings of drums and flats. I got three sauces, chili sweet, garlic soy, and sriracha mayo. So good. Next time I'm going to get the chili sweet and chili hot and mix them together. I also got the sweet potato fries which are coated in something that gives them more crunch. I also bought Korean helado pops--melon and strawberry. Both were very smooth and good. So I'm half Korean and they are Korean so I strike up a conversation with Jason, running the orders and managing the place. He first came to the US to study and he and his wife and children have lived here awhile. Once he got established, his mother and brother came over (may be more family, too, I don't know) and they decided to start a restaurant. The chicken is his brother's recipe. The mother has many years of experience in Korea running her own restaurant. I highly recommend trying this chicken, you will fall in love with it. I really like how Park Place Mall has brought in local restaurants into their food court. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. YUM! We settled on this based on previous reviews and also it looked reeeaalllly good in person. We each got the mayo rice bowl and some rice fries. My husband added 2 extra chicken strips to his bowl and I had it as it comes. The chicken strips have a nice crispy coating and some teriyaki type sauce is sparingly squirted in the bowl as well. It also has some seaweed bits and scrambled egg bits. My method is to mix it all up together to eat it. The rice fries are something special. They remind me of brazi bites (Brazilian cheese bites) without the cheese. I'm sure it's a rice starch base but it reminds me a lot of tapioca starch- chewy on the inside and nicely crisp on the outside. These don't come with a sauce but I think they'd be good with anything because they don't have a ton of flavor on their own. They are so delicious though, which is weird and hard to explain. You can get the Korean-style fried chicken four ways, plain with a side of sauce or tossed with 4 different sauces. You also choose whether you want chicken wings or tenders. I tried the #1 Oh My Chicken, plain with a side of sweet chili sauce. It was delicious - really juicy chicken that was super crispy, and yummy dunked in the slightly sweet & spicy sauce. It comes with a side of fries and pickled cabbage, both also really good. There are a few other entrees on the menu, all featuring chicken - a salad, rice bowl, sandwich, and noodle bowl. Juicy chicken, crunchy breading, but nothing much on seasoning. The dipping sauce you pick is where you'll get the flavor. The chicken is a solid 4/5 so definitely order that. I got the four piece tender set today (sweet hot chilli) and it was the perfect amount of spicy and sweetness. The rice cakes I added were a true game changer (I highly recommend adding them). So it was really nice to have a place like this in Tucson finally. The prices are pretty reasonable for what you're getting and the food was really good. The breading was double fries so it gives it an extra crunch. I love the cabbage salad as well that they go on the side.
