I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and I'm glad I finally did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is very inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was very friendly and kind. I had the bibim bap without the egg and meat. It was delicious! One of my favorite parts of eating at a Korean restaurant is the smalls shareable side dishes. They served four and one was a pickled zucchini which wasn't my favorite. I will definitely be back though as the rest of the food was really good.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Started with Miso Soup, banchan to follow. My entree came out on a hot plate and was still boiling. It stayed warm until I was done eating it. It was spicy cuttlefish with veggies and was very tasty. Definitely good Korean food.

We've been wanting to try this place for a while, and overall it was a great experience. The service was excellent and the Gyoza was delicious. The mozzarella pork katsu was just okay, but the dishes still felt authentic and flavorful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is nicely decorated[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and there's plenty of parking, which is a big plus.

This is by far one of the best Korean food I've ever eaten! Everything was delicious! Service was great (we were there early) and [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance informal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Try it out! 4.7 stars. We will definitely come back.

It's OK, not outstanding, 3.5 stars. I had the Bulgogi Dolsot Bibim Bap. Plenty for my money's worth. Just wish that the bulgogi had more flavor to it. It was just enough flavor to make it bulgogi. Kinda like their miso soup that came with it. Just enough to make it miso soup and not miso flavored water. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

My husband and I stopped here during a visit to Tucson and we loved it! We got the calamari, bibimbap, and kalbi. Hit the spot after a morning of hiking!

With an hour and a half between appointments, and so dang hot, lunch in a delightfully cool restaurant seemed like a great idea. In the mood for pho (yes, pho is still great in hot weather!) I headed to my favorite Vietnamese eatery. Darn, the door was locked and a sign on the door said "Closed on Tuesdays." Kogi Korean BBQ is a couple doors down, so they were the lucky winners of my lunch business today. My server brought a tall glass of ice even before the menu. Truly appreciated. Way back in 2019 I enjoyed Korean BBQ here with a friend, but the BBQ experience isn't as much fun alone, plus it seemed too heavy for this hot day. The appetizer section was appealing, so I chose the spicy Korean chicken wings and other assorted bites. The potstickers were plump and flavorful and the shu mei were pretty good. I don't know what the round rice things are called, but they were a bit bland and needed more dipping sauce. The wings were not good. If the menu had said they were breaded, I wouldn't have ordered them. I much prefer wings that are crispy, well seasoned, and lightly tossed in sauce. These had a thick coating that soaked up the sauce, creating an unappealing mushy mess. It was warmish and sticky in the restaurant today. I venture to guess that a swamp cooler was doing its best to cool the room, but in this humid time of year, coolers aren't efficient. I do want to compliment the staff for an absolutely immaculate bathroom.

Everyone in my family loves this place. The food is great, and we have tried pretty much every option on the menu. I highly recommend the mung bean pancakes as a starter. It is great to share and extremely delicious! You can't go wrong with anything at this restaurant! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super casual ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I don't recommend for groups more than eight unless you call ahead.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We love Sunny. She has been our server every time we have been there and she is super sweet to our family and very welcoming. Anytime I crave Korean food Koji is our go to.!

Food was ok wasn't bad just what i got wasn't great imo. Really wanted the beef bulgolgi lunch special but it's weekdays only so opted for something simple really wanted bbq meat so ended up getting teri chicken. Was was just a plain chicken breast sliced and topped with teri sauce. Kinda tough and chewy but it's white meat for you. Really liked that there was ban chan (korean sides) she asked if I wanted which was kim chee (homemade cabbage super fresh not really spicy), fish cake strips and bean sprouts. All sides were super refreshing and was actually more excited on the sides than the chicken. Portions were actually decent for the regular meal. Side small container was just for the rice. For a Korean restaurant they have the basics covered, it was cold would've gotten a kim chee stew or tofu soup of some sort but needed something on the go. I'll be back again

Yes there are. Vegetable Yakisoba, Vegetable Tempura Deep Fried, Vegetable stir fried rice, Kimchi fried rice. Not sure if you eat fish or egg, but that would expand the offerings. The food is wonderful there. The banchan are all home made…

Our favorites were the kalbi ribs, bulgogi, and spicy pork belly. We also grilled veggies. They have great banchan (small side dishes) that are refilled at request. We love the kimchi, fish cake, Tteokbokki, japchae (glass noodle), salad, pickled cucumbers in chili sauce were all delicious! For some reason they give you a seasoned salt and sriracha for dipping. You have to request ssamjang (korean bean paste mixed with gochjang (mild sweet chili paste) and other seasonings, which is a standard dip at KBBQs. Be sure to ask! The ingredients are fresh, and meat cuts are quality. Price for all you can eat is very reasonable. The doenjang-jjigae (fermented bean stew) and steamed egg are our favorites! You have to order these, they don't automatically serve. Service is friendly and great!

I was a bit excited to try this. However, I understand now why it's the "best of Tucson". It's because it's literally the ONLY kbbq spot in Tucson. So extremely low bar. I have no idea how this place has so many positive reviews. I was not impressed for the amount of money. 40$/person is insane. I don't understand the menu at all. Why is it 40 for standard but if you want the good meet it jumps 10$ per person? I have never been to a kbbq like that. Let's start the review. -jap Chae was overcooked and way too much sesame oil -fish cakes were too sweet -kimchi was too bitter -corn cheese had too much cream or something. It tastes like a paste. -Ssamjang is extremely weird. It was liquidy. Ssamjang is not supposed to be liquid like since it is a fermented soy PASTE. It was not the right color and did not taste like Ssamjang. Ssamjang is usually a deeper color like a burnt sienna than whatever orange thing they gave me. -grill temp was all over the place -portion sizes were not good Full disclosure. I am Korean. I grew up eating Korean food and being surrounded by Korean culture. The japchae had too much sesame oil. If I can distinctly taste the sesame oil there's way too much. The fish cakes had too much sugar. The portion sizes I thought were small for kbbq. Maybe get two servings out of one order. Also when the grill was initially turned on, it was so hot that our first round of meat pretty much instantly burned due to temperature and the meats were thin. Thank goodness the staff didn't charge us for the left over burnt meat. I'm serious it was CRUNCHY. Also personal take here. At this restaurant I didn't see any Asians on the staff. At kbbq usually you see Asians or Koreans working. I saw no Asians working. So I thought to myself if a Korean speaking person came here the would be in trouble unless the knew English very well. I'm a little concerned about if the owner is even Korean? You might not think it matters but it does. They know how Korean food is supposed to be. Some good things. The galbi wasn't bad. It was the short rib with bone which isn't my preferred form of galbi but it was still good and not too sweet. The pop corn chicken was so good. They give a chunk of beef fat to grease the grill in the beginning which I appreciated. Strip loin was good. Although it was basically a chunk of meat you toss on the grill and cut yourself with scissors. The spicy pickled cucumbers weren't bad and tasted normal. That's about it though. I would never come back here due to the price absolutely not equating to the quality. The staff very nice. But not nice enough to save the food. This place I would expect more 20-25$/person than anything. Not 40$! If the kbbq place absolutely was redone different story.

So when I saw a review for Wings & Rice, I did what any curious foodie would do I drove over an hour and a half to try it for myself. This time, the TikTok hype was 100% worth it. The wings were cooked to perfection crispy, flavorful, and juicy. I ordered the Spicy Teriyaki and Garlic Parmesan, and both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were bold without being overwhelming, and every bite had me wanting more. I also ordered the Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice, and it did not disappoint. The portion was generous, the chicken was tender, and the rice was packed with flavor. What really completed the experience was the customer service. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel appreciated as a customer. The location is a little tucked away in Tucson and definitely not somewhere I would have stumbled upon on my own, but it's a hidden gem that's worth the drive. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. This is one food review I'm glad I followed. If you're on the fence, go you won't regret it!
