What is with a hungry Howie's? There's always a problem last time. They left off a topping that I paid for it did not put any seasoning on my crust. They wrote to me and said call us. We'll make it right! I took out the time to do that then kept me on the phone forever. Got my address and never did anything! This time I got the wrench flavoring on my crust no dipping sauces that I paid for, and they couldn't be bothered to slice the pizza for me. What is going on in Hungry Howies? Do better! read more

Instead she dealt with rude customer service and she still didn't receive her food. Instead she dealt with a horrible experience and would never go here. Good pizza at a reasonable price. Love the flavored crust option. Tried the stuffed crust this time with the chicken ranch pizza. The flavor of the pizza was really good. The cheese in the crust seemed a bit odd. It wasn't like the cheese on the pizza. We will stick with no stuff crust from now on. read more

Normallly wouldn't bother with rating a business so poorly however after having to deal with the female "manager" today I couldn't let it slide. We ordered 2 pizzas to be delivered. They didn't show up at the promised time, in fact an additional 45 minutes passed. The manager did a rotten job at rectifying their mistake. The blame game instead of taking responsibility for poor service. It's pizza not rocket science. Good pizza, bad app. Ordered as we left the grocery store because the app said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Got a text saying because they're busy, it would be more than an hour. Tried to cancel then told it was ready. We were half way to Mt Lemmon by then. Won't try again, not worth the aggravation. Glad we didn't add a tip online so we're just out the cost of the pie. This was a neat surprise. I was in the mood for a sandwich, but something different. They call them "subs," but they're not really sub sandwiches - they're more like toasted pita pockets, made from pizza dough. I got the chicken/bacon/mozzarella cheese regular ($7). It was delicious and a good value for the money! It took about ten minutes to make, but that's fair, as it had been roasted or grilled. I'll be back to try their other "subs." read more

All I hear when I come in is hello...be right with. Very polite, yes. But hearing it for at least 10 minutes was irritating. Finally got my orders placed , so Thought I might go to Walgreens and grab a couple of things, while I wait. When I came back, again..hello. be right with you. Finally after waiting for awhile, and nobody up front, and I saw my pizza put in the warmer, I yelled, hello! They told me sorry. We didn't know you were here. The lady came up to the register before hand, and they told me hello when I walked in, so no. Try again. Now My order has to now wait longer, because they put down the wrong wings. I really wanted to like this place, but the few times we have ordered from here; the pizza was just okay. This last time takes the cake for us never ordering here again. As my boyfriend was eating his pizza, I noticed a hair hanging off his slice. I stopped him from eating the slice so that he could remove the hair. Which at the time I thought it was maybe one of my hairs that flew on to his pizza slice. NOPE! This long hair was BAKED in the pizza. He pulled it out from under the baked cheese! We ended up throwing out the rest of the pizza. Maybe the rest of the slices were fine, but we were not going to eat those to find out. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I even welcomed them to the neighborhood on their first week of opening. I went home and downloaded the app and I placed an order. I was a little upset to find if you want any condiments such as mayonnaise you have to pay extra for that. I'm not cheap by any means but what sandwich does not come with a condiment as simple and common as mayonnaise? Then I find out, they don't even have mustard in the store for any of your subs. I spoke to a guy named Josh who was not very patient with people over the phone. After asking a few questions he responded, "Well, what do you want?" Then, in a fit of frustration, he hands the phone over to somebody else to help me. Josh needs to be reminded that he is in the customer service business and nobody forced him to be. He chose it. When I got my order about 40 minutes later, the mayonnaise [that comes in packets by the way and paid extra for because it's not included in the price of the sandwich] was not in my delivery. Are you kidding? They charge me extra for a common condiment then do not include it??? Also, you pay extra for a delivery fee and that delivery fee has nothing to do with the tip. That delivery fee goes to the store. So, if you want your delivery driver to receive a tip, you have to tip above and beyond the delivery fee. If you don't pay a tip then you basically stiff the driver. I can imagine paying extra for the delivery if I was ordering through Uber Eats or any other online subcontracting food delivery service but not from the vendor themselves. That's just an added fee that I feel is totally unnecessary especially when my residence is only four doors down from the store. I would've walked over but I was nursing a cold. Anyway, the rude customer service from Josh and failure to include my complete order left a bad taste in my mouth before I could even try their food. Besides always having great food. I wanted to give a shout out to this business for caring for the Tucson community and keeping their employees and customers safe. Inside they wear masks making in person pick-up worry free. So far all delivery drivers are also masked and they offer no contact delivery as well. Keep up the great service and food! read more

Okay so really wanted to like this place. Ordered two think crust pizzas. Maybe that's the clincher, maybe pizzas not supposed to be thin. One has great flavor but was overdone on the crust. The other pretty much tasted like one of the worst frozen pizzas I have ever had. Like cardboard. Not sure why there was such a difference in taste. But both were overcooked being thin crust. Not sure if you have to request the cooking time be adjusted, that would have just been something I would have expected to happen without me having to ask. On the other hand, also ordered cheese bread/toast and that was some of the best I have had. It was not over cooked at all. But if the bread and the thin crust were cooked together for the same amount of time I guess I know why my thin crust were almost burnt. Maybe will try it again with a regular crust pizza as I love the crust options, just wish my first taste would have been better. read more
