This location is a disgrace to the Rosati name. I ordered a Chicago deep dish and it was not good whatsoever. It was incredibly flat and the bottom completely burnt with a charcoal taste. Rosati's is back! One of our family's favorite pizzerias! Their original space on Tanque Verde but entry has been completely renovated and it was beautifully redone. The thin crust is crunchy on the ends and chewy in the inside of the pie. Toppings are so fresh! The sauce is exceptional, just the right acid and spices! Our last order was bad. The pizza was so dry, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. I ordered the side salad the lettuce was not chopped up and the cucumbers were missing. This place makes a nice pizza. The pizza comes as thin crust, but if you want hand tossed or pan you can get that option. The sauce had good flavor and the crust was crispy. The customer service was excellent and they were helpful in knowing and suggesting what was good on menu. I was told they make great wings and bbq ribs. I didn't order any, but I sure will next time. They did have the best carry out box for a pizza that I've experienced. It secured the pizza very well and I had no worries of the box opening while i drove back to work. Great Chicago pizza best thin crust I've had in Tucson, it's the real deal and the deep dish is just as good

Came here specifically searching for good deep dish pizza. Ordered the 14" Chicago Style Deep Dish with sausage and mushroom. Rosati's website claims this pizza is a "buttery crust filled with mounds of mozzarella cheese and topped with Rosati's Chicago-Style sauce". Their crust is defintely NOT buttery and I believe, is their regular pizza crust pushed into a deep dish pan. The toppings were few and far between and it was overly sauced (also, the sauce was too acidic for my taste). It was very disappointing, and not worth $30. read more

FINALLY we have real Chicago pizza back on the east side! I liked the previous owner's pie but this new owner has taken it up a few notches. Also churched up the interior and made dining in possible and welcoming. The deep dish is on point with a sweet (but not too sweet) sauce and buttery flakey crust. The italian beef (Cheef) was also excellent tender meat cradled nicely in cheese with no need for extra au jus. highly recommend read more

3 weeks ago I would say best pizza in town. Not anymore. Got a 14" sausage and onion with xtra cheese on thin crust. Crust: Not thin crust and had cardboard chew to it. Sausage: I love there sausage IF you can find it. After they cut the pizza I would say about 1/3 of the pizza had no sausages. Pieces were about 3x3 square and didn't find but one piece that had even 2 sausage. On a $30.00 pizza I expect to find lots of sausage. ONIONS. Oh my so many large chunks of onions. Looked like Mr Frank N Stein did the chopping. I was hoping rest of the sausage was hiding under the onions but guess what I found. MORE ONIONS! I like onions but not that thick on my pizza. Cheese. We ordered extra cheese. I'm glad we did because I would consider the cheese we got was normal. In conclusion when I've eaten there before it was during the week. This pizza was a Sunday evening. Ordered a pizza off the internet posted menu for Rosattis pizza off Tanque Verde. Was told by the store employee and manager that the pizza we wanted to order was not available at the price listed and if we wanted that pizza it would be an adfitional cost. Again this was off the posted menu. The manager flat out refused to work with us or attempt to work with us. The customer service at Rosattis is totally non-existent and they could care less about customers. We have previously used them before and was told new management bought it a few weeks ago-It shows! Will no longer be a customer of a business so disrespectful and pathetic. read more

This is a little take out only place. The pizza is fine. They have some hidden fees instead of just adding to their prices so be aware of that. I haven't tried their delivery yet. But really the whole point of this review is to praise their Italian beef sandwich. It's great! Just the greasy spoon quality you want in a real Italian beef sandwhich. Rosati's makes the hub's absolute favorite pizza. He loves the ultra-thin-but-not-cardboard-like crust and the slightly sweet sauce. We vary our toppings from very meaty to very veggie or a combo in between. The past seven months we've chosen not to eat in restaurants, but a couple of our fav restaurants are deemed safely acceptable for pickup or delivery by the aforementioned hub, and Rosati's is one of them. Friday I had a mental block about what to prepare for supper, so I jumped at the offer of Rosati's. At 6:15, we ordered a thin-crust medium pizza, with pepperoni, garlic, onion, and extra cheese (which we always do). We were promised no-contact delivery in an hour or less, and our pizza showed up at the front door on time and piping hot. It was scrumptious. read more

We are big Rosati's fans. This was the first pizza we had when we moved to Tucson 8 years ago. We try to order delivery from them at least once a month. The special they offer, buy a large or Xtra large one topping pizza and get a medium cheese pizza for free, is the deal we frequently order. We order each pizza with two toppings (Xtra charge) double crust on the large and thin (single) crust on the medium. We always have left overs and it heats up great the next day or so. The lasagna is also yummy, but you will need to order a meatball if you want the full experience. Spaghetti and meatballs is always a hit for my husband. And, our dogs always enjoy the pizza crust from their daddy who never eats his. But keep your paws off of my crust!!! Nobody, human or canine, comes near my crust. It's great for dipping in Italian Dressing. Delivery service is always perfect. They will tell us an hour, but it usually arrives sooner. Oh, and they have 2-liter Coke bottles which seems difficult to find at many other restaurants. Customer service is always friendly and eager to please. Except for one thing. I always ask for extra Parmesan cheese cups (I love it!), but they never send enough. I hope you stuck with me 'til the end. Enjoy if you choose to try Rosati's. P.S. New owners but same old timing issues with an added twist! You can apparently still count on them to drastically underestimate their turn times. "Ready in 20 minutes" equals 55 minutes on a random Tuesday. But after asking politely twice and each time being told "five more minutes" we could clearly hear a gentleman comment "these are supposed to be well done right?" Joking about ruining our meal to a coworker is unacceptable. WeI opened the boxes at the car and went back and gave them some polite but constructive feedback. Yes you may be sorry but you will never have our patronage after that. It's sad to be coming home after over an hour of waiting to bring BURNT pizzas to 3 hungry teenagers. We've lived in Oro Valley for 5 years and have only ordered from Rosati's pizza. Historically they have had great service and delicious pizza. The last several times we've ordered, our pizza has either been 10-15 minutes early or late-- but still delicious. Tonight we ordered one pizza at 3:00 with instructions to be delivered at 6:15. When the pizza was pizza was not delivered, I called Rosati's ((6:30) and was told that my "ticket was lost". They would make another pizza and have it delivered to me. I asked to speak with the manager. The person on the phone asked me why I wanted to speak with the manager, and I told him I wanted to ask for a refund and a free pizza. The person came back on the line and told me that the manager "is not in the business to give away free pizza". It's 6:45PM... still waiting.... read more

I have not visited since before the pandemic. I don't live here anymore so was happy to revisit. I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the lasagna which was good with a good price but the portion was much smaller. I also got an anti pasta salad. Weirdly arranged but still good however all the spines of the romaine salad had evidence of bacteria. We live 3 minutes from the restaurant, how do we get cold pizza? 2. Place sandwich orders for pick up. Pre paid over the phone but once on arrival, needed to pay. Sandwiches were good so no real complaints this time. 3. Order pizza and sandwich for delivery. Pizza cold again..3 minutes away. Combo sandwich missing the cheese and hot peppers I paid for. It's hit or miss with these guys so if you want to roll the dice and play good food/bad food roulette, good luck. read more

I ordered a thin crust pepperoni pizza to be delivered at my friends house a couple of times. It was not very cheap, and so not worth the premium price I paid. The pizza tasted cheap, cheaper than Little Caesars, which is a pretty cheap pizza, and well worth the price. The delivery time was abysmal, we ordered it about 45 minutes before the most recent Game of Thrones episode was to air, and it arrived about 40 minutes into it. The original projected wait time was 40-50 minutes. I probably wouldn't order from this place again. read more

The gal at the counter was very nice and personable, and stated Rosatis is ranked #1 as the best in town. Being a brand transplant to Tucson, I was cautiously optimistic having grown up on NYC pizzerias. I seriously doubted her statement it, but ordered two slices with mushrooms. I think there were only 5-6 small pieces on each. Paid around $10+ , but the slices were large with a thin crust and looked good. I've learned over the years, you needn't spend this kind of money on great pizza, especially since this being a small town, prices should be comparable to wages. Asked for garlic powder, but was told they only had garlic salt. I couldn't believe it. I persisted for the garlic powder and she brought me some in small to go cup. Pizza was absolutely tasteless, but I was starved. While eating the pizza, I said to myself, 'I should have known better'. The dough was similar to frozen pizza dough - real cheap ingredients and heavy. The tomato sauce/cheese literally fell off from the dough, a 'tell' of bad pizza. Very salty, sugary and tasteless. If you are a NY transplant, don't listen to native Tucsonians about how great the pizza is. You'll be pissed at yourself for throwing away your money. One of the worst I've had.
