Ridiculously rude store workers. Manager shift leader allows it. Younger ethnic girl (not the skinny one, description ONLY used to identify her since they hide their identities with no nametags so they think they can act how they want) started maddogging me. Staring and then running to the front counter to exaggeratedly lean on it and stopped making the wings just to be a disrespectful jerk to me. But they apparently ignore your phone calls, or you, if you go to the front counter? And then the rude older shift leader lady just takes my order and throws it at me on the counter instead of handing it to me like others. Didn't even wait to see if I needed anything else and immediately turned to the next customer. Then they tried to get my comment removed because they got caught doing wrong and thought we wouldn't talk about what they did? Shady much? Act right and you won't get reported. Do it again and instead of writing a review, corporate gets notified. Your choice. That's why this place has such low stars. It's deserved. Everyone should complain about them. Arrived at 6:15 and was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, I went back in to ask since people who were there after me ended up getting their food before me and was told to wait outside for another 5 minutes. After 10 minutes I walk back in to ask about my order and they finally went to look. No order was even being prepared! The cashier did not even check on my order when I first came in. So the other person checked and said there was no order ready or being prepared and checked online to see the order hadn't even been printed. So she apologized and told me they are working on it and it will be out soon. Waiting another 20 minutes before my name was called and got a half ass apology for the wait. This location is probably one of the worst WingStops I've ever been to. Of the two times I've been here, I've felt like I'm inconveniencing them to take my order and prep it. First off, I have to talk about the cool soda machine, Coca Cola Freestyle. The first time I saw this type of soda machine, I was at SweetXO in Manhattan Beach and thought it was too cool! I'm glad I found another one, it is the next big thing for soda machines!! Its a touch screen and they have so many flavors of Coke products. First, you choose the main soda, ie Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, then the next screen takes you to the different flavors. There are probably over 100 different flavors in the machine. I didn't get a chance to scan over all of the flavors bu they have the originals and fruit flavored sodas. Some weird flavors are there too! They have 50c boneless wings on Mondays and Tuesday. I would suggest to phone in your order and give them ample time to get the goods. The lines can get long. The restaurant is pretty small, mostly kitchen with some table seating. Most orders are for to go. As you walk in, you are greeted with the counter to order. It's pretty clean and everything is diy as you get your own paper towels, forks, ketchup, and condiments. They are located in the Target Plaza off Rosemead Blvd, just north of the 10 freeway. They are in an island next to The Habit, Chipotle, and Jersey Mike's (coming soon) and across the parking from Cold Stone Creamery. Parking is available in the parking lot area. Most of the time, they have lots of parking in the area. We ordered the classic wings, as I like them more than the boneless, they just taste better to me. My favorite flavors are probably the Louisiana Rub (cajun dry rub, a bit spicy, very delish!), Lemon Pepper (dry rub), Hawaiian (sweet sauce), and Garlic Parmesan (Hunny's fave with lots of parm!). I LOVE their seasoned fries!!!!!! They are perfectly seasoned, not too salty and flavorful. It has a bit of a bbq/smoke flavoring to it. The fries are perfectly crispy but not overcooked. I normally get the fries, but when I want to be good, we get the carrot sticks! Dip them in ranch! (Okay, being semi-good.) The fresh baked yeast rolls are also very yummy, they are round little buns that are SOOO soft! One bite and they are flattened, but they are good! We will definitely be back for the chicken wings! When I got to my second order, I inquired about what was in the Louisiana Rub. She just said, "Okay, so Louisiana Rub?" and entered it into her system before I could say yes. When I asked her what it was like, she seemed to be as clueless as I was and responded with, "Uhhh...spicy...it's a dry rub." Well, that explains a lot. Pretty sure that describes about half the menu. I contemplated for a few seconds before changing my mind and asking her to change to the Original flavor instead of Louisiana Rub because, come on, I wasn't really convinced by her oh-so-eloquent way of describing what it actually tasted like. Trying to tell myself that perhaps she was just having a bad day, I tried to give her benefit of the doubt but was appalled to see her treat all the other customers, who I'd like to add, came in during dinner rush, with not only warmth but also the respect that seemed to be nonexistent during her interaction with me. Honestly, I understand that this is more of a fast-food joint, rather than a 5-star restaurant. But I really don't know what was going on here, considering I was nothing but polite to her. It's truly a mystery how they can legitimately call themselves a business with how many amateur mistakes they make. First off, every time there's a bigger-build female taking our order, she's just an idiot. How is the manager allowing these girls to be the first line of contact to represent their establishment? They're not welcoming and often times take longer than they should to even acknowledge customers. Personal conversations with co-workers seem to be more important. Phone orders get priority over customers standing right in front of them, even when you're in the middle of your order?! Is the manager just hiring his family and friends? I don't understand how these girls even got these jobs. We've had our orders completely skipped over, twice, our wing counts are wrong, or they forget the ranch. For the amount of mistakes and the simplicity of the tasks, a franchise like this should not be making them. If there are this many complaints about their customer service, it now falls on the manager's responsibility to make much needed changes. Otherwise, you might be called for your order and still not have a table available. The wings are great as any other locations. My favorite are the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan flavors. This group of staffs working on Tuesday night 06/01/2021 are one of the best. Order was correct, fresh, and timely. One staff in the back quietly cooking meal after, the lady in the front kindly taking order after order, the manager helping out here and there making sure all customer gets the order timely. Lastly, this boy even have to work out off his way to help this Uber/Dashboard lady filling up the drinks. This driver won't let me help her and insisted the busy worker to come out to help her. Thank you for all your hard work in feeding the community. Wing Stop staffs are just as essential. Thank for working especially now a day it so much easier to just get unemployment and government aid. Truly appreciate all your hard work. Also, thanks to Wingstop for hiring enough staffs and quality staffs. BTW, I've been here many times. This is the best experience which I had with this location. The Chicken Sandwich is lackluster. Compared to Chik-fila, the chicken sandwich here does not cut it but it does look good in pictures. I saw an ad for the chicken sandwich at Wing Stop in the morning and I was sold. I use Chik-fila as a baseline to judge this sandwich as they have it perfectly balanced. The first issue with the W/S sandwich for me are the buns. They are pretty hard and although they grill it, it's still too thick and hard for the chicken patty. Next is the chicken patty itself being too dry. It isn't juicy although you can taste the seasoning you choose it doesn't help the patty being dry. They do offer sauces for the chicken sandwich but those too fall flat compared to what Chik-fila offers. I think this sandwich would be much better with a few simple fixes. Instead of having all the flavor options for the patty, leave it plain, and they choose the seasoning as a sauce instead to pour onto the sandwich as you eat it. Lastly better bread. Simple as that and it would be a legendary chicken sandwich. Overall customer service was great. They greeted me and were very polite contrary to all the reviews I see here. I did not take a single pic though as my desire was to enjoy a chicken sandwich without a review but decided to share my take on it since it was hard for me to find any good reviews of the chicken sandwich on Google.
