I went in today to get a tuna sandwich and the girl who made my sandwich didn't even make it properly, she grabbed a bread that was already falling apart and when she cut my foot long she did it so aggressively it made my sandwich break apart more and when I got to my sandwich to eat it my whole sandwich was broken into so many pieces and my tuna wasn't even in the sandwich it was just plopped onto the subway wrapper I was not satisfied with the fucked up sandwich I had to eat. read more

I went to this Subway location at Rosemead, and the woman named Elita (she wouldn't spell her name & gave her last name) has the most unprofessional attitude as a customer service employee. I ordered 2 one-foot-long sandwiches. She tossed the meat and the vegies in them like a mess and didn't listen carefully for what I wanted. Her manner was rude, not helpful, quick to judge, shifting blame, argumentative, gaslighting, belittling the customer, not sensible, fighting against every word, and tried to step down on the customer. This person was threatening, dishonest, and with a hateful attitude. I was the only customer there, still she took the time to play game & belittled everything I communicated to her. The problem was I had a coupon, and she said it wasn't registered and I had to pay full price. She intentionally wasted more than 1/2 hour when she would not process the payment with coupon. She threated me by calling me "unprofessional, disrespectful, not loving, not kind, saying 'I'm calling the security and/or police', 'I'm not giving you these sandwiches', etc. etc. " in front of others at a later time. She said "I'm doing you a FAVOR to apply the coupon with the purchase even the coupon has not expired. Afterwards, I went to another Subway and finished the transaction in 10 minutes with acceptance of the coupon! How amazing was that! No fuss, no belittlement, no gaslighting, no game! Elita was the wrong person with the wrong attitude working in Subway which is a customer-service oriented job. She is in need of changing a career, maybe open her own store or work as someone in charge. They WILL try to scam you into paying more at this location! I got coupons in the mail and have had no trouble using them at other locations. I came into this one and it was confirmed that they took coupons so I ordered a footlong that was supposed to come with x2 cheese. I noticed that the woman only placed the normal amount of cheese and asked her about it and she then added the right amount for the sandwich. At checkout I gave her the coupon, which is when she then said that she was going to charge me for extra cheese because I was using a coupon even though she confirmed that my sandwich was supposed to come with double cheese. I rarely go to this subway due to past bad experiences and the parking lot is pretty compact and not easy to get to if you're coming from north of san gabriel but due to covid it was the only one open later than the others . I'm so glad i came back because the cashier was not only super polite and friendly but she literally kept everything orderly, neat, and clean. even the bell peppers were stacked nicely. She even made small talk with me so it wasn't awkward while waiting for my sandwhich to be made. I wish i got her name though. Definitely download the subway app so you can earn points to a free sub. i believe if u take their survey you get a free cookie too!!! My togo fav is the spicy italian on honey oat with bellpeppers. And if you've never had subway cookies ... you're definitely missing out. their cookies are always consistent being crunchy on the rim of the cookie and soft and chewy in the middle. As a previous Sandwhich Artist at this place, I can assure you that the quality of the food is always FRESH. I was humbled by this experience working at Subway. For the most part, the workers are all very HONEST and hard-working at this Subway in particular. If you ever do come across Tristy, Myra, or Erick, they will 100% serve you the best customer service! As for the toppings, I promise you that if you WANT extra tomatoes/napkins, they will gladly give you some more as they know great customer service values. The ambiance of the interior is maintained everyday and thoroughly clean, so everything is pretty much disinfected all the times. Since there are only two Sandwhich Artists at one time, it can be quite slow which will result in longer wait times for your food when there are many customers. As for myself and my experience crafting wonderful and beautiful sandwhiches. I could say that my time spent with passionate Sandwhich Artists has been excellent, until I met those who were not as passionate. I took customer feedback very seriously, and knowing that a handful of customers told me that my co-workers, were not giving the best customer service, made me rethink my position as a Sandwhich Artist. I'm not 100% sure of his name and I'm sorry if I got it wrong but I believe his name was Simrat? Again sorry if I got it wrong. But this guy deserves a raise a promotion or a bonus. I called right at 8pm to ask what time they closed and he did mention they were closed already but that he would be willing to wait 10-15 mins for us. The worst customer service ever! The young lady did not even had a name tag. I was there @ 8:30 PM on Monday. When I first arrived, there was no one in sight, had to wait for the young lady to come out. She looked like she was having a very bad day. Came here today since I had a coupon: Buy one six inch sub and a drink and get another six inch sub for free! Also, since it was Friday, they gave me a free cookie with my order. They also had another thing where if you show them your school ID, you get another free cookie! In the end, I got two six inch subs, a large drink, and three cookies for a little over six dollars. I am very satisfied! The white chocolate chip macadamia cookie was so good. ^___^ Also, the service was great! The workers were extremely friendly and funny. There was quite a line already in the early AM when I arrived. The morning staff were friendly and alert. They made full effort to be helpful and quick. Clean and welcoming. Very roomy, I love the seating with little tables...makes for great conversations. I purchased their new pizza-type special called Flatizza. It was on special, "2 for $5". I chose pepperoni. I thought it was lacking at first with ingredients, but when it was done, it tasted so delicious! Nom, nom, nom. They have a coffee station with flavored creamers, my fav being French Vanilla. The parking lot is always full, since everybody likes to spend their whole day in starbucks sipping coffee, leeching wi-fi. Ambiance: bright, shiny, more modern feel for a subway shop. its quite roomy, unlike some other subway where this a aroma that lingers(its not a bad thing). Food: its subway chain. if you ate at one place, its pretty much standardized. Service: The person that service me was named SL. he was professional, and was the one that made the wait pleasant. i guess he's the manager, but he was fast, but did the sandwich in an orderly manner, which did not make it look like a sloppy mess when your pushed for time. he offered a free cookie for my wait (shows his understanding). Conclusion: the service of the manager, and his professionalism is what made me write this review for a fast food place. It was my first time eating at this Subway. The girl asked if i wanted our sandwich toasted and at first I said no but, when she cut the bread you could tell immediately that was old bread. Then came the veggies, lettuce was not fresh, tomato slices were very old and wilted, just horrible. She at least sorted through it all and gave me the best of the worse. There was one slice of avocado and it was black, why have that there for everyone to see. i am not going back. The bread even after it was toasted tasted old. Rarely does a Subway branch go wrong with a Cold Cut combo footlong. This place was very clean and the ingredients were very fresh. Got all the ingredients I wanted and it was very fast and prompt. I ordered the 50% more meat option for $1 since I was hungrier than usual. Tiny plaza but I went during an off hour so I didn't have issues with parking. I just got charged for two different 6in turkey sandwiches instead of being charged a footlong turkey because "they're on different breads". I know subway counts their breads but you're not charged on the type of bread you're using you're charged on the type of meat. One 6 inch was on white bread and the other on jalapeño cheddar, so in reality they are the "same bread" because you make jalapeño cheddar with WHITE BREAD. I used to work at subway and I used to hate it but I never over charged someone just for the hell of it. It's only like $3 extra but I doubt I'm the only person that has been over charged. read more
