I love this place so much because of my best friend Caesar who works here as a cashier. He's super nice and welcoming. He always gives us new recommendations and is really passionate about his job. Been here more times than I can count and never had any issue (with the exception of orders taking foreeevvveer). Staff has always been extremely nice. This review is for my last contact with Wingstop today. Diane or Diana whoever answered the phone proceeded to take my order and I asked for a 5 piece tender meal mild but asked if I could get 2 of them plain (for my son). She went on to tell me "no we can't do that, plain is considered a flavor" I told her it's never been an issue before and she said "yeah, they shouldn't have done that, im sorry" Im sorry but that's ridiculous. I've been to this location often over the years and it's been pleasant and I've gotten what I expected. Tonight however was different. I placed a phone order, with the expectation of being able to use a email coupon I received. They told me when I was there that the coupon was only for online orders. Ok. My fault for not reading the fine print (which wasn't entirely clear that it was online only either, but I was willing to let it slide as Ihad work soon and was in a hurry.) What was not ok was the little girl behind the register. In frustration i tossed a $20 bill into the basket over the counter to pay for my meal. This little girl picks it up and gives it back to me and tells me to hand it back to her. What the hell? In a customer service position, and in what world do you dictate how a customer has to give you the money? If I'm not violently throwing it at you, there shouldn't be an issue. I was not being rude to anyone there, including that little one. I was definitely frustrated, and I'm sure it showed by me tossing the bill over, but again I ask, how is it ok to tell a customer "pay the way I'm telling you". If I wasn't in a hurry to go home and eat before work, I would have walked out. I'll decide if I go to this location again after I speak to a manager. If not, the next wingstop is only 2 miles away. OMG this place was packed when I stopped by on a Sunday night. Maybe cause football and basketball games were going on that everyone and they mamas wanted wings to go with the game? Either way I kind of felt bad for the people working cause they couldn't catch a break. Even with the never ending flow of loud customers they kept the crowd moving. Granted I did wait about 20 mins for my wings I can't blame them, orders are fired to order and there was a crap load of people. Sides the wait made the wings and seasoned fries even tastier.... or maybe cause I was really hungry? If you don't like your wings over sauced you might want to tell them. Once we got there we still waited a good 30 min. And today we decided to give them a second chance and eat there. When we get there the place is not even packed, and our order took about 45 minutes. I came here to pick up my mobile order and I specifically told the cashier (she seemed new because she didn't know what the hell was going on) that I was here for so and so. She then goes to the back to talk to one of the guy employees and then comes back to me to let me know that it's 30 min. Her excuse was that there were a lot of orders just placed. I placed the order at 9:20PM and came to the restaurant at 9:32PM. On the app it was quoted about 16-21 min so I decided to head a bit early in the event that it was prepared earlier than expected. I also chose the option to pay at the restaurant so I wanted to get that out of the way. Since the girl at the register said it was another 30 min (basically on top of the 16-21min app wait time) I asked her if the food was already being prepared and if it wasn't, if I could cancel the order. She then goes back to the same employee who she came up to initially. He approaches me at the register and is already coming at me with a critical tone of voice. I politely asked the lady at the cashier if I could cancel the order if it wasn't made. The guy then says that the order was being prepared so he didn't want to cancel it. I told him I would like to cancel because I didn't want to wait another 30 min that the lady had told me. He then says to calm down?? Like dude, if you're the manager you definitely need more training. I was talking to you in a civilized manner and you're saying this was a miscommunication? Of course it was a miscommunication because the employee that was "helping" me initially doesn't even know what she's doing. The employees had clearly acknowledged them and wouldnt pick them up. There were roaches literally crawling on the countertop. The service was not too genuine and a little too casual. When we pointed out the roach they were so unprofessional. I really payed $25 for food coming from a very unsanitary building which is not sitting right. Man, these reviews are rough. I'm adding my two cents and my many wing calories to the mix, so that I might tip the scale a little more towards the positive side of things. Instead, it's about the very first night having gone there and encountering a very dismissive employee that barely gave two shits (or two shats... What's the past tense? Anyway... ) about my order. Luckily for my girlfriend and me there was an absolutely fantastic, helpful, positive individual beside her that decided to take ownership of our problem and make sure we were getting what we ordered, with the enthusiasm of a person that usually owns the place. Amanda, I believe her name was, was so fantastic my girlfriend was bummed that she no longer worked at her old job, because Amanda was the exact type of person she loved to recruit. I had the fortune of having her help me out the last time I went and she had the same amazing attitude and the same helpfulness that I had appreciated the first time I had seen it. As a person who is skeptical of all nice people, I can say this one is the real deal, and this place is lucky to have such great employees that make the 'bare minimum' employees an annoyance and not a reason to never return. So, to sum it all up, Wingstop is keto friendly as hell and has at least one dope ass employee. As we contemplated wot to order she did nothing, but huff and puff. When we finally settled on a Party Pack (50 pieces) and told her to split the 4 flavours evenly; she snarked and said, "So, wot is that? I'm not good in math." Uhm, common sense. You have been working there a while. I would assume that you have already taken the initiative to calculate that if the customer decided to split the flavours evenly. The other annoyance have is that we specifically asked that the non-spicy to be separated from the spicy ones. Instead of taking it seriously, she just snarked again. The customisation was requested because there is a person who has an allergy to spicy food. Allergy. Severe reaction that requires an Epipen. So, that's why the request was made.
