I received the worst wings I have ever received at any place and that says a lot because ive eaten 7-elleven wings. The wings were super dry, small, and over cooked. I asked for extra wet and clarified 3 times that I wanted the wings with extra sauce but the wings they gave me were extra dry. There was one wing that was ALL BONE, if you see the picture there are no bite marks the skin is intact so we couldn't have tampered with it, there was a little lump of skin and that was enough for them to count it as a wing. I'm pretty sure the chicken doesn't come out of the cooks pay so I wonder why they're so cheap and quick to give someone shitty low quality wings. The other wings were small and with about 14 wings there were only 4 drums. They also tried to skimp me out on a drink (that came with the combo) till I said something and the cashier made it seem like he was just giving it to me to be nice not because it came with my meal. Okay, so they somehow lost my order so I had to wait a bit longer--but it was Saturday night and super busy, and luckily I wasn't in a hurry. Took out and ate at home, still nice and hot! I had the corn for the first time and it was delicious! On the cob, but cut into convenient size for a bit, with a spicy citrusy sprinkle that had a lot of great flavor. I usually get the lemon pepper--which is alway great. Not spicy, but just right to give the wings a bit of extra flavor. I tend to order just the flats of the bone-in wings--I know I'm weird that way, but I like wings for the skin and the bones! So much flavor! And WingStop allows me to ask for such things! I usually also order their Garlic Parmesan--which is fantastic--but this time tried the Hawaiian because I wanted some sweet. It was a good tangy-sweet without being over-powering. I love WingStop's flavor choices so much more than Buffalo Wildwings. I don't even bother with dipping sauce, because their basic flavors are so good on their own. I also like that while the wings are fried, they are not breaded, so you are getting less fatty oil and carbs. Avid Wingstop lover here. My boyfriend and I used to love this location, their food and service always used to be spot on! I've noticed probably the last 3 or 4 times we have ordered from here, the quality of food has gone down tremendously. We usually order tenders and wings, and the tenders are almost as small as the wings! The wings themselves used to be a really good size, and the tenders were even better. However, the tenders we received the last time were less than half the size we used to get. The size of the wings have gone down to almost bite size little balls of chicken. I am not sure if this has anything to do with the chicken shortage, but I think with their price increase, their food quality can be a whole lot better! I have noticed they do try to include an extra tender to make up for the size difference but I still wouldn't consider it the same amount. Other than that - everything is still just as good. Their original hot is a classic, can't go wrong with that. We have recently tried the atomic - SO much yum! We love spice and didn't find this too spicy but it had a lot of great flavor. We also tried the hot honey rub. I was excited for this as I LOVE hot honey. This flavor did not live up to the hype unfortunately. There was actually no flavor at all, I almost thought they gave us plain tenders at first. I wish it had been a wet sauce and actually been glazed with some type of hot honey, that would have been delicious. Stopped by today, a Friday at 1:30pm, they were packed as always but I ordered my food at 1:13pm online and didn't receive it until 1:40pm. We ordered two orders of 10-piece classic wings, all flats, well done, and in flavors of plain, original, lemon pepper, and Parmesan garlic. The wings were cooked just well enough but not too over done where the meat was dry and stringy. The lemon pepper was actually delicious! This flavor has always been my least favorite but tonight, it was off the chain. I am a fan of the Parmesan garlic dusting that they also put in their fries (as an option). The plain wings just taste like good old fried wings. The original is a mild buffalo wing sauce flavor and that one is just okay. Review is for the restaurant's handling of covid measures. They are not enforcing customers wearing masks. There were a couple of guy that entered before me without a mask and no one said a thing. Employees here for the most part are wearing masks and gloves, but I saw at least two in the kitchen not wearing gloves. And the girl at the cash register constantly pulled her mask down to talk to customers and communicate with her co-workers. Ordered on three separate occasions from this Wingstop and I must say I am a fan. Their wings rarely fluctuate in quality but can sometimes. Their main competitor in Irvine can fluctuate WILDly, though so I appreciate the consistency here. There is one menu item I can't recommend though: boneless Cajun. The Buffalo sauce soaks into the breading and the Cajun seasoning soaks into the sauce so all you get are bites of EXTREME sodium laden saltiness. I should have seen that one coming and really; that's not at the fault of Wingstop. Its just a bad combo. Their pick up operations are a little hectic and unorganized here, though. Most of the time the door is closed, and they will shout out names on orders that are ready but ask that you wait outside for your order. Well... most people outside of that shut door can't hear the person yelling out their name so their pick up rack gets jammed up. Pro tip: Just call in the order or order online for a specific time, show up about 3-5 minutes after your specific time and you will always be in and out quickly. read more
