Poorly managed. The customer service is terrible. I was there to pick up an online order that was supposed to be ready when I got there and had to keep asking for the order and waited for 40 min. The staff were all joking and laughing like clowns and would not make the food. It was so bizarre! Their lunch staff are terrible! They should not be working with the public or handling food! Just your usual and consistent Wingstop in Irvine. They do a good job with their wings as most locations do. I'm always a fan of dry rub wings since they usually get less soggy and have much more of a crisp to it. Blue cheese dressing is the way to do with these wings! I am always a fan of the Louisiana rub and the Lemon pepper so that's always my Go-to choice. Only critique with most of the chain restaurants like this is the maintenance and the management. I usually love Wingstop, but this recent visit was pretty disappointing. The chicken sandwich that I got my girlfriend was not cooked properly. The texture of the chicken was like that of rubber and hard to chew. It almost felt like you were chewing on rubber and you had to bite and tear off the chunks of meat just to get a bite. The rubbery texture can even be shown with me trying to stab the chicken with my fork, but it behaves like uncooked chicken. My girlfriend was complaining about the chicken sandwich until I asked to inspect the chicken and I found out the chicken wasn't cooked properly. This place is always busy and for good reason! My food has always been hot and freshly made. You can even see the kitchen and watch them cook if you choose. The chicken is juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked. And so flavorful! My favorite would be the lemon pepper wings, but the entire menu is delicious. I'm extremely disappointed and frankly appalled by the level of service and hygiene at your store. One of your female employees -- Hispanic, wearing glasses -- was completely unprofessional and rude. She didn't bother to check our online order confirmation number and instead gave us a completely wrong order with just 3 wings when we clearly ordered 16. She made us go back and forth to the store because of her incompetence, and not once did she take responsibility or even apologize. We got the double combo to go which included 15 boneless wings, 2 drinks, and a large fries. The wings were cooked well and the buffalo and lemon pepper flavors were great. I love the machine they have for drinks because you can combine custom flavors. It's also fun to watch the staff make orders while waiting for your own. A few different points to make here for the review. 1. The wings were really juicy which is fantastic 2. The hottest sauce isn't hot at all and probably on par with the BWW spicy garlic. This resulted in an over 15 minutes wait for wings that should have been ready. When I asked what the point of ordering ahead of time, the answer I got was, "these are the orders we currently have" and the guy pointed to the board of orders. If you cannot figure your timing out, you probably shouldn't work in food or you need to fix your website to not allow overloading of orders. 5. The wings were not crispy, this was probably due to the fact that it was a to-go order. I can't fault them because of the juicy wings, but because of this fact, I suggest eating in the restaurant to get crispy and juicy. We already accepted the near doubling of prices since the pandemic but, this week, our 20 tenders fit in one box instead of two because all 20 of them were small.
