We got wings to take next door to The hysteria brewery. I've had a lot of wing choices over the years - these were the best. Nice and crispy. Meaty. Wrapped in foil to stay hot. So I've been a regular for years but it coming to an end. Ordered Sunday 11/02/2025 around 7pm on-line. Out of stock, out of stock. So had to go with the wings. 20 old bay as usual. Went to pick up the order and it was sitting on the rack waiting and I was early so I got it and left. Got home, 5 minute ride and the wings were semi warm, tried eating one and it was rock hard, almost petrified, beyond able to even take a bite, fried way too long. Turned out half the order was like that so into the trash they went. This coupled with the last time not getting the celery and blue cheese as ordered and now I'm really looking for a new wing place. This time there were only 2 people working, big tall kid cooking and the guy working the front and saucing the orders. 1 other customer in the store waiting and the parking lot nearly empty. It's getting pathetic ordering from them thinking it was just a mistake the last time and it will be better this time. We all know the definition of insanity, doing the same thing all over and expecting a different result. My recommendation to Wingman, remove the TV. All the employees are doing is watching football and rushing the orders only to make simple mistakes. CLEAN the front. Hubby and I have been wanting to try this place for a while and tonight was the night. The wings are def jumbo and they have a variety of flavors. We got a 20 piece bone-in wings fried hard and the two flavors we chose were Lemon Pepper and Golden BBQ. My husband ordered a regular size Sweet Potato Fry and I got a side salad. They also gave us 4 ranch dipping sauces and some celery on the side. The 4 ranch dipping sauces were very much appreciated because some places only give you 2 and charge extra for more. It was a horrible experience.Everything about this place is bad.The customer service-very bad, the food-terrible and the value -none!! A very rude and not at all friendly blonde woman rung us up for our carry out order.She didnt greet us at all and acted very rude and the workers in the kitchen were too busy goofing off to say anything to me and girlfriend. The boneless chicken was just big chunks of hard & bland chicken with a weird tasting buffalo sauce on them.We both had a puddle of hot sauce in our containers,the chicken drowning in this really bad tasting buffalo sauce.The fries were just as awful. They were to way to crispy for my taste and they had so much salt on them that they were ineditable. All of it went into the trash after a couple bites .Total waste of time and about $40. We will not be returning. We had an ok experience the last time, but this time, when we got home we realized there was little or no sauce on one entire order. You can see the spicy garlic has sauce, but the mild does not. When we called, the girl said we could come back for them to put sauce on. If you make an honest mistake, own up to it, and offer to make it right. The wings would be cold and inedible if we drove back for them to put sauce on. I admit on my initial review I was a little harsh, the wings here are tasty and it seems like they really pay attention to feedback, which is rare. Good on them. Their dipping sauces, (ranch, etc) aren't watered down anymore and actually, I must have received some bad sauce because every time I've eaten there since my review the sauce has been good. This also includes the wing sauce itself, much better, so good job! They actually took my advice and stopped using watermarked images on their Facebook and in their promos, well done! In the age of smartphones there's no excuse for stock images in replacement of real ones. So thank you. Each time I've eaten here has been good, it's worth a try. My husband ordered XX Hot wings- personal preference, of course, but he did not like the flavor, and they weren't spicy. I ordered chicken nuggets and mac and cheese for my 2 year old. Ordered honey bbq wings and they were good,very saucy, but nothing I'd order again.(I should have gotten something spicier) My husband ordered sweet chili wings and enjoyed his. After eating, went to the unisex bathroom to wash my hands and there was no hot water. All in all this felt more like a bar than a dine in food place, but there were people with children so it is family friendly. Been here way too many times in the past week. I discovered this place while driving down Mountain Road... and glad I did. The MD bay is old bay and buffalo sauce... it's my favorite sauce. The spicy garlic is good too. Fresh garlic. The parm cheese one... is just ok. I'm not a fan of the flavor from anywhere. The owner and his staff are exceptionally nice! I'll be a regular here! So tonight we had the worst experience at the Wingman. We placed our food order at 6:15 pm and our server told use she would be leaving at 6:30. She was getting ready to leave as she left she said they were playing our food this was at 6:35. We did receive our food till 6:50, our food was good as usual but for wing not worth that wait time. There was 2 customers when we came in and at 6:30 or so they left and at 6:40 a family of 3 came in, placed there order they received there appetizers with in 4 minutes. We questioned where or food was they said it was coming. At 6:50 it can and promptly at 6:55 the other table received there food. So there food took 15 minutes and our took 40 minutes. So before we paid our bill hubby asked for a discount for our wait time the OWNER said what kind of discount, hubby said he didn't care just what you thought was fair. He said HOW ABOUT FREE AND DON'T COME BACK TO GET OUT. Really I wait 50 minutes for wings and get told to never come back for just asking for a discount. I wasn't even paying my son was. So don't ask for a discount on shitty service unless you wish not to eat there again. Pasadena location. So the business owner replied to my review all he is saying isn't true. Why would I lie. You can believe what you want he is a liar. I was a customer that got crappy service and he's going to trying to say he has proof who cares do you think anyone before coming in to give you a chance is going to come watch them first. My son was there 10 minutes before I got there so did you add that to your time. He wasn't acknowledged until after we got there and moved tables. I really don't care what the owner says I know what happened because it happened to me I watched my phone because the server didn't acknowledge my son so kind of figured it was going to a sucky evening there. Used to love this place for wing night but it's gone down hill. got 10 hot wings last week, got them and they were literally bone dry. i've eaten plain chicken wings with more spice than these so called hot wings. i called and complained, manager said i could get 15 free wings next time i came which is the only reason i even gave two stars. got the 15 wings, still dry and no sauce!! also gave me no dipping sauce with it. definitely won't be coming back. read more
