WIngs are fine, but Elko could really use a real Sports bar. Their bar area is tiny with and with only 1 large screen to watch a game on it gets kind of annoying. Not to mention they gave the remote to some other guest so that they could watch what they wanted on any TV. If you want wings, id go here, but I wouldn't stay to watch a game. read more

Drink here, don't eat. I've been here 4 times in the last year. My order has been wrong, cold or delayed on each occasion. I would not order the Sticky fingers; They came out luke warm or cold on 3 occasions, each separated by several months. I wouldn't doubt they're reheated. My Fajitas took over an hour tonight. Pretty sure my order was forgotten. Servers are nice out of necessity. Very disappointing food service. Have only come back due to proximity to my hotel. Terrible service which is forcing me to never return. I usually go here for lunch for a hamburger. The food is actually pretty good but service has always been slow or nonexistent. It's so bad that I started timing the staff once I walk in. This time, my wife and I were seated promptly but had to wait ten minutes for a server to take our drink order. The place was less than half full and it was about 1pm. We ordered our drinks and since we knew what we wanted, we ordered our meal. Our salads came out quickly but drinks never arrived nor did our server. Fifteen minutes after we ordered, the hostess asked us about our drinks even though our server had been giving refills to the tables surrounding us. Another forty minutes went by and we finally received our hamburgers. The server was apologetic stating that the kitchen was backed up. Are you kidding me??? In our section, I counted six occupied tables and twelve unoccupied. That ratio was about the same throughout the restaurant. This isn't the first time I've had extremely slow service and because of it, I will not ever return. This place needs new staff, better trained staff, or more staff but what they really need is to get a clue. read more

Clean and family friendly menu and atmosphere, but food was barely average. Best thing the family ordered was a teryaki rice bowl. If you're looking for safe and palatable fare, this is for you. Server was nice and helpful. read more

Fowl burger was delicious and very filling. Onion rings were hot, fresh, and delicious. My husband loved his burger and steak fries. Service was great too. I want to return for drinks on the bar side!! I would definitely return and recommend! read more

Ok, I took my family out to this establishment after a long day of driving and had mixed reviews on the taste/quality of the food. First of all I ordered the sticky finger dinner, it was great. The fingers were crispy and hot and the onion rings were on point, but the Cole slaw was different from what I'm accustomed to so ( let's just say I didn't finish them) . My wife had the bacon cheddar burger and she was not a fan at all.....although the last time we were here it was great. This time it tasted bland and the lettuce that was served on the side was brown and her steak fries were greasy and cold, but she said her beer was good! My son had the same meal I ordered and he wasn't a fan of the sticky sauce on the fingers and the garlic fries he ordered were rubbery and had hardly any garlic on them. My youngest had mac n cheese although he really didn't care how his food was came out my wife said it was cold. In regards to the service....Well we didn't like that either.... at least this time. Our server only checked on us once and didn't even serve us our food when it was ready. She said she was helping with the bartending and didn't have a chance to help us a lot, but I feel that service is a big deal in the overall experience of eating out and therefore she didn't receive a good tip. read more

A group of co-workers and I decided to order in dinner tonight at work. We went online and checked out the menu and called our order in. When I went to pick it up the bill was a lot more than expected. When I questioned it the hostest said the online menu had not been updated in a long time and the prices online were wrong. Our bill was about $20 more than what we expected. Online the Wings & Things platter (appitizer) was $9.99, we ordered 4 of them. The bill was $65. Also, on the online menu it states that the platter comes with potato skins... There were not. The online menu really needs to be updated. Not too terrible. I guess I was expecting more from a restaurant that advertises with "Best wings in the USA" from the highway. Especially disappointed as they do not carry traditional, bone-in wings. Our waitress looked at my friend and me like we were crazy when we asked for some. We stopped here to be served somewhat quick, at least faster than a traditional restaurant. That didn't quite work. The time to get seated and served was slow, and there weren't a lot of guests to allow for the slow service. The popcorn they bring you to munch on was a nice thought but was very old and stale. I had the boneless wings with BBQ sauce, they were ok. I would have given them a three, but what really grossed me out was the menus had BBQ sauce on both of them. Unbelievable!!! Went in to buy several bottles of sauce to take home. I was behind 3 other parties waiting to be seated. Took over a half an hour to seat them. 4 parties walked out while I was there. Told the hostess/server/bartender 3 times all we needed was sauce!! She tried to seat us on those occasions. Finally on the last time, we told her to stop, go get the bottled sauce cause this was ridiculous. The place was half full, but this gal couldn't multi-task of her life depended on it!! I watched the other servers as well, being a former server, I understood what needed to go on, but none of them seemed to be able to multi-task. It looked like chickens running around with their heads cut off. I wouldn't eat there, not unless you have about 2 hours to kill! Then hope and pray your order was correct. I even watched patrons try to track down their server fur 15 minutes to pay. What a joke!! read more

I liked this place. As has been said, Elko is a drive through town on Hwy 80. This place is located right off the freeway. We went there Saturday night. It was busy, but we were seated quickly. When we were seated, we were served a bowl of popcorn. That was fun. I have never been served that before. The place was loud and it had the look and feel of a chain, but the food was good. The service was also good. If you are driving by, it is worth a stop. read more

Went to Wingers for the first time last evening. We hit the dinner rush so we were told there would be a 30 minute wait. We asked to order take out and the young lady told us it would be even a longer wait for that. We left and got a hotel room and called back 45 mins later and put in an 4 dinner orders. When we arrived we were informed the fryer for gluten free was inoperative. If they had taken our phone number when I ordered, they could have told us and saved us the wait for regular fries. Our order came and we added a 1/2 Chef salad to the order. We received our order and I tipped the hostess and then drove to our hotel only to find there were no napkins nor silverware. Rather than eat it with our fingers, I called Wingers and the young lady asked if I wanted to come back she would give me silverware. I drove back and also informed her I didn't get a chef salad. I got 2 side salads.... She said no you got a chef salad. Then she asked me what's on a chef salad. More than a side salad! She replied just lettuce, tomato and croutons make the chef salad. She said I have to ask if I want silverware. No the restaurant employees should ask if we need silverware if they are going to be that cheap as to save money on napkins and plastic silverware... I also never got a receipt in the bag when I got back. It made for a very frustrating experience. The food itself was very good though I would have liked it better with a chef salad and something to eat it with......The staff was pleasant but they definitely need a little more training and supervision. read more

Too bad there's not one and a half stars. We live in the area and have been there about 4 times. Of the four times, 2 of them were terrible, 0 stars. The first time it took 20 minutes to get my first beer. After recieving our first beers and ordering a couple burgers, we waited 45 minutes for our food. At this point we walked out, reluctantly paying for the beer. The next 2 times we went, after a 6 month hiatus from this joint, thinking maybe things have changed, the service was better but the wings are average at best. We sat at the bar these times so there would always be someone in front of us. So it made sense that it would be a little better service. This, our last time at the Elko Wingers, we sat at the bar again.got our first beers quickly. but thats where the decent service ended. There were at least 2 bartenders, the bar was not busy by anyones standards, and for at least 10 minutes I sat with an empty beer in front of me. The wings did arrive relatively quickly, over fried, and dry. but we got to eat. If you're passing through, basically go anywhere else. I will NEVER take anyone I know to this establishment. read more

The drinks we ordered weren't that good. Granted it was a dirty palmer and a crown press, maybe most bartenders in Elko don't make those, so benefit of the doubt on that. The sticky fingers tasted like old oil that needed to be changed. My son likes the chicken and waffles. I had the chicken tacos. I was happy they didn't deep fry the corn tortillas but the chicken had no flavor. My husband got the chicken sandwich and onion rings and said it needed more flavor as well but the southwestern sauce was good. Start seasoning with salt and pepper at the very least! read more

Worst food ever! Fajita's smothered in Brown canned gravy! 4 stripped of beef, onion and green peppers only. 4 small, stale flower tortillas. 2 it of bagged salad topped with an oz of pico de gallo. That's it for $15.50. my son had fish and chips. Over cooked, 4 pieces of fish on a huge pile of fries $15.50. no patrons but took 45 mins to get our food. I've ate here a couple times when I have visited Elko. While I do enjoy their food and have never had a issue with that, the problem I have happened during my last visit. While I was sitting and eating, what I can only assume is the owner or manager walks in with a bigger style hand bag. Nothing too out of the ordinary until she opens it up and there is dog inside. Although it's not too unusual to see a pet in a restaurant nowadays, the problem was she took it into the kitchen. I am no health inspector but I would think that is unsanitary by any standards. Do you really have to bring your dog to the restaurant? Can't you leave it home for the half hour you were there? read more

Went to wingers to play pool and enjoy a few drinks, even ordered some appetizers fries were hard and cold. Waitress continues to forget about there customers. When trying to cash out my card was declined I mentioned to the server at the bar that I needed to move money from my savings to my checking real fast. She told me " she didn't have time for this" and rudely said she would try one more time. After my card went through she said "you are lucky it worked." Horribly rude. Terrible service. A low budget knock off of about 20 other franchises like "Fridays" I wish I would have seen the reviews for this place before I went. I ordered the "Original" wings and luckily I asked for a side of hot sauce. The "Original" was boring and lacked flavor, just wings rolled in a seasoned (lightly) flour and fried. Service was OK but not stellar, If you go make sure you order one of the sauces, because that is the only thing you will taste. read more

I stopped in Elko on a cross country trip and had an excellent steak at Wingers. They seem to be known for their chicken so I was a little hesitant to order steak but I got the rib eye and it was delicious! It was cooked perfectly and had a really great flavor. The accompanying mixed veggies were fresh and flavorful and the steak fries were hot and crisp. It was a great meal after a very long drive and a good value for the money. This is a great place to eat! GREAT food!! We were passing through and saw this place so we stopped for dinner. We are so glad we did!! The food is awesome! They give you big portions too! We liked the free bowl of popcorn they give you after you're seated! It's a cool idea and fun snack for everyone! I had the chicken pot pie, which I LOVED!! My husband had the sticky fingers with 2 sauces. One was very spicy to him and that's something new since hot sauces aren't usually really hot to him. The full sized tenders looked great and were real chicken!! The dessert menu looked interesting but I was too full to order anything. However, our server wasn't spot on so we had to wait long periods of time for refills and our check. It was shocking to see that our server was an assistant manager (on name tag) to be getting such slow service! Wingers was just as expected. Good burgers and wings, lots of variety on the menu, and a margarita big enough to swim in! Our server, Roxanne, was great, and really made the kids feel welcome. This place is disgusting to say the least. I had the sticky chicken fingers with garlic fries. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich with steak fries. My plate came and the food was cold. Sent it back and they obviously microwaved it. The chicken fingers were dry and after chewing on a bite I was left with dry stringy bits of chicken in my mouth which were not even digestible. My garlic fries were soggy and greasy and not crisp at all. The chicken on my husbands sandwich was burned. I could have bought a bag of frozen precooked chicken tenders at the grocery store and it would have been better than this. I would give this place no stars if I could. read more
