The wings are really mid. Too much breading and hardly any chicken. I wished the 3-alarm sauce was more saucy/wet. It's barely spicy at all, so I'd recommend going up if you want some heat. The dry lemon pepper flavor was oddly sweet, which was not the flavor I was hoping for when I ordered lemon pepper. While I wouldn't recommend the wings to anyone, the menu is quite expansive with other types of items such as burgers and sandwiches. I would also come back for the waffle cut garlic fries, which were DELICIOUS!!! 100% recommend the waffle garlic fries, even if they were a little oily. The service was great. The worker was very kind and welcoming to each and every guest. My food was served fairly quickly too. They also give have free water cups, which some establishments don't do anymore. read more

The Wing Dome located in the Armory in Seattle. Basically, co-located with a bunch of other little eateries and stores. It's counter-served-ish. What i mean is you order your food at the counter and then they bring the food to you when it's ready. Just reading the menu made me want a burger and the photos looked great. We ordered their Dome Burgers one plus bacon (one with beyond meat), some wings, and fried pickle chips. The family loved their wings. My burger was alright, was a bit dry for me. I guess they don't ask you how you want your meat. The sauce made up for it. I didn't know you can choose fries either. I stopped by here around 11:40am on a Thursday morning to grab some lunch after visiting the space needle. This is located inside the Seattle Center Armory. I got the western bbq burger with no veggies and mayo. It comes with krinkle cut fries. The total was $17. I noticed a $.45 surcharge and not sure what it was for until I looked at my receipt and saw a notice that said, "A 3% surcharge will be added to each check to offset the increased cost of goods. 100% of this surcharge is retained by the company." To be honest, I don't understand the point of that when they could just raise raise the menu prices. Nonetheless, it should be posted somewhere or at least mentioned by staff. If it was posted, I didn't see it. My order was placed about 11:50am. When I received my order around 11:55am, I ended up getting a mix of krinkle and waffle fries, which was fine and staff asked me before doing so. Unfortunately, it didn't matter because they were not fresh at all. They were lukewarm, at best. It honestly looked like a mix of old and new fries that had been sitting out, especially the krinkle cut ones. it wasn't busy at all, so that's a realistic option. I will say the waffle fries were better than the krinkle cut fries, so I would recommend getting those. The burger was delicious but oily. My fingers and the paper were drenched lol. Staff was friendly and helpful. I just wish my fries were fresh. I didn't say anything because I was on an time crunch as I needed to get back to the airport as I was only in Seattle for a layover. Every time I order at Wing Dome, I seem to enjoy everything but the wings. In this case, I loved the Loaded Crinkle Fries with sour cream, bacon, and green onion. In fact, it was overloaded and good value. The wings were disappointing with the wings being small and hard. It's like the wings were fried too long and didn't retain being crunchy, but burnt inside. It's a little strange. The employees who work at this location are friendly and great, but I'd definitely recommend ordering anything but the wings here. read more

We came here on a Saturday evening while we were waiting to go to the Space Needle. You'll order at the counter and they'll bring the food out to you. I got the buffalo crispy chicken with waffle fries. It's like the chicken sandwich was cold or maybe the bread was cold and the chicken patty was cooler. Like it wasn't a hot meal at all, which was a total let down. The chicken on the sandwich was a chopped and formed patty so it was like compressed and pushed together like something you'd find in a Mc Donald's chicken nugget. They're online ordering was such a mess, they weren't sure my order was even real, and I still got my food perfectly on time. Saw a group almost leave their garbage on the table, and serving alcohol that has to be confined to the corner of the building can't be easy. On top of the great work, the food I've had is delicious. (Which has just been fries and tenders, but multiple of their sauces! We were at an event at the Fisher Pavillion, so wanted to grab something to eat before heading home. We ordered the 18-piece wings with three sauces: The Bigger Badder Cheese, Triple Garlic, and Honey Habanero. Flavors were good, but the chicken seemed a little dry to me. I think I liked the Triple Garlic best out of these three. I also got a peach margarita, but there was too much of the peach syrup, so it was way too sweet. I had to add water to it. We got to the Armory at 7 with closing times of 8 and was disappointed to see that pretty much everything else was closed already... Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 - we were originally going to order 2 burgers but decided that we should try their wings based on the name, that choice was definitely a mistake 3/5 - Backfire Burger was okay. We enjoyed the kick from the sauce but the bacon was burnt and gave it an awkward crunch in the middle of your burger 1/5 - 12 wings with Bigger, Badder, Cheese and Honey Habanero sauce. The wings were fried too long that most of them were dry. For about $1.75 per wing, I was expecting better cook and more reasonable size. (See picture for mummy drumette!). The honey habanero wasn't spicy and tasted mostly of granulated honey with some habanero powder mixed in. The bigger badder cheese tasted mostly of Parmesan which got a bit queasy as there wasn't enough garlic and lemon to cut through. They gave us one container of the honey habanero and 2 of the cheese sauce so the wings weren't even tossed in the sauce. we had to do this awkward dipping thing where there's only sauce on the wing dip and the rest has no flavor... Ambience: N/A - feels like a food court environment with tables and chairs in the center. They had their own section of seating with some bar stools on higher tables Service: 3/5 - short and pretty much one word answers. He was definitely ready to get out of there. When we asked if they can cut the burger in half for us, he said that utensils are on the side. He asked if we wanted to eat in or to go, we said eat in but received the food in to go boxes. We happened upon this place in the corner of the food court next to the Space Needle and decided to give it a shot. We misjudged. It wasn't good. The fries were cold, the fish sandwich had barely any fish in it and the chicken sandwich was lackluster. If you find yourself tempted to try it, I recommend checking out next door neighbor Mike's Fish instead. Pricier, but worth it. Went in during bumbershoot because we were craving some wings, and we were very disappointed. When I say these were the smallest wings I've ever seen, I'm not joking. Over cooked and with barely any meat on them, the wings were almost inedible. The sauce is good, but save your money and go somewhere that actually has chicken on the bone. 1.) The WINGS are VERY good, with a good amount of regular sauces to enjoy, and they also bring in rotating flavors of different sauces all the time. Nice. Going back eight or ten months ago, their wings were skinny, anemic, Pidgin wings i thought. I mean seriously skimpy. That would be due to either what they were willing to pay their food distributor for wings, or it was that too often cry..."supply chain issues." BUT NOW, THEY ARE BACK TO MEATY WINGS AGAIN. Sweet! 2.) Their SALADS are good also, but in my humble opinion, rather limited in number. Maybe not. 3.) Recently they've added in a couple of new offerings: A.) HUMMUS plate, with some carrot and celery strips, sliced cucumbers, some pickled vegetables, and five or six slices of Pita bread. It's quite good. Not over salty, not greasy. A welcome change at Wing Dome. B.) SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP with Pita bread and "Mama's Lil Peppers." This is also quite tasty, not overly salty, not highly greasy. Though like burgers, in the past Wing Dome burgers all seemed to be really overly salty. Either done in the kitchen, or already in the ground beef when they have it delivered. BUT...yesterday, (5/2/24), I tried their new burger offering, The Works, (1/2lb. Wagyu Blend, Caramelized Onion, Swiss Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, House Sauce, Lettuce, Tomato & Pickles). It's $18.00 and comes with (overly salted) fries. I said I didn't need, nor want the fries, which they said was OK, and they did not bring me fries. Ha! They did NOT removed the charge for the fries from the bill however. Next time I'm in, I'll ask about that issue. Why not just have the burger and fries sold separately? BUT...the fact that this particular burger was not overly salty, and was quite tasty, that's a nice find. Other things that are on-going with their food, any of their fry's , cheese curds, onion rings, are SALTY. I order fries at other places and they don't arrive to the table just laden with salt. Again, done in the kitchen, (kind of doubt that for some reason), or that they way they order their fries from the distributor. In Seattle, the three largest food distributors are Food Service of America (FSA), Sysco Systems, or US Foods. I know Sysco Systems has I think it's three levels of quality in the foods a restaurant can purchase. I presume the other food distributors do the same thing. Wing Dome/ Consolidated Restaurants, Inc can order less salty product IF THEY WANT TO. I have friends who won't go to Wing Dome anymore because most of the food offered is what they think is just too much grease. They like the wings, and usually always order wings and a salad. They skip all else due to the high grease and/or salt factor. Perhaps that'll change their minds with the addition of the two new veggie pita bread items mentioned above. COCKTAILS are good, or lame, depending on who makes them. They usually do not have a dedicated bartender, each wait person makes your drinks themselves. SOME staff have clearly had bartender experience...BUT NOT ALL OF THEM. Your cocktail "occasionally" shows up with the proper amount of booze in it, but muddled limes in your Margarita are not a certainty at this Wing Dome. In the US of A, a 1.5 oz is a "common" single shot of booze, as is noted at any one of the other bars/pubs/restaurants up and down Greenwood Ave. At this particular Wing Dome, (more often than not), you are NOT receiving the proper amount of alcohol in your drink, WHICH YOU ARE CERTAINLY PAYING FOR. This is due to inadequate or inconsistent training on behalf of the parent company, Consolidated Restaurants, Incorporated. BTW, Consolidated Restaurants also owns: --Metropolitan Grill, --Elliott's Oyster House, --Heartwood Provisions, --Quincy's Burgers, and --Wing Dome(s). ALSO, while I'm on a rant...this Wing Dome does NOT have an afternoon Happy Hour for some weird reason. Their Late Night HH is 9-10p, (they close at ten), with a limited menu. OK, that's cool. On two of the three times I stopped in before 9:30pm, they had only two of their Late Night HH items available. No wings, no fries, no cheese sticks, no burgers. What the hell. ALL THAT SAID... I have to say that the wait staff, and the kitchen staff, (front and back of "the house"), at the Greenwood Wing Dome are great. They try their best to give the customer a good experience. Where they may individually fall down is due to the lack of consistent proper training. PS: Now that summer's on it's way in the PNW, I wonder how the folks in the kitchen haven't walked out because the corporation won't a/c the place. That is bizarre and beyond me. When it is 83° or 85° out in Seattle, that kitchen is over 100°. But the corporate office (downtown?) is air conditioned, so why would they care. May 3, 2024. read more

I went here on a Wednesday around 1:13pm earlier this month since I was waiting for my Space Needle time slot in this area. This restaurant is located inside Seattle Armory at Seattle Center. There was no line or wait at the time I went. I ordered a cherry slushy, 6 piece wings with 2 Alarm (User Friendly) with a side of ranch sauce to dip, and Garlic Waffle Fries on the side. The Garlic Waffle fries were very good, not overpowering in flavor, and crispy! The cherry slushy was nice and refreshing since it was a hot day when I went. The wings were good too, but TINY! The 2 Alarm sauce flavor wasn't spicy, which I enjoyed and I like how you can choose the spice level here. The only problem with the wings was that it was a little bland. I'd recommend this place for the Garlic Waffle Fries and their Slushy drinks! The Garlic Waffle Fries were probably my favorite part of the meal. Side of fries The first batch we received were stone cold. Our server/food runner was super sweet and accommodating and got us another batch that was fresh, which was very appreciated. They were crispy and hot and well seasoned. Ceasar salad It was ok. The lettuce was a little dry and browning in some areas, but it wasn't to the point that I was a little iffy on it. Theor dressing is a little too thick for my preferences (I like to have it loose enough to coat everything easily and evenly, this kinda glopped and stayed where it landed). I would order this again and specifically seek it out as a solid food choice while at the Armory. Cauliflower bites This was the best item we got. They were hot, crispy and fresh with a good amount of cauliflower underneath the breading. Side of 4-alarm sauce. Wtf...this was described as for people that lole things spicy...and I was embarrassed for anyone that could consider this spicy.
