We stopped by Elliott Bay Marina to look into getting a slip for when we bring our @pacificpearlyacht north, and after chatting with the harbormaster (Brice--super nice and helpful), we decided to grab a quick bite next door at Maggie's Bluff before heading back on the road. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and inviting--perfect for a relaxed stop. Since it was a cold day, we both ordered the clam chowder, and it could not have been a better choice. It was warm, comforting, and honestly one of the most memorable clam chowders I've ever had. What made it stand out was how many clams were actually in it. This wasn't a thin, milky soup with a few clams floating around--it was thick, hearty, and loaded with clams. The color was more natural and gray rather than bright white, and the flavor was outstanding. Our waitress was very sweet and kept recommending the crème brûlée, which sounded tempting, but we decided to pass this time. Still, the food, service, and location earned an easy five stars. If you're at Elliott Bay Marina, Maggie's Bluff is a must-stop. read more

Fantastic Atmosphere, Tired Menu The patio here is excellent--clean, scenic, and offering the perfect balance of sun and shade. The service is consistently a highlight; the staff is incredibly friendly and the food arrives quickly every time. The only drawback is the menu, which feels like it hasn't changed in over a decade. While the classics are fine, the selection is uninspiring and feels like basic, low or entry-level bar fare. For such a prime waterfront location, the kitchen needs a refresh. Adding creative salads and updated burgers would go a long way in matching the quality of the service and the views. read more

Cindy the server makes the dining experience a real treat. After one visit and a month later she remembered what I had to eat and my name from previous visit she's a true server pro. My hot crab and artichoke dip and toasted bread (crustini's) have been the one main item I get and it's enough for even the hardiest of eaters like me not to mention it's really a two person meal. Come Sundays at 11:30am for the restaurant opening and you get waterside seats and a great place to watch the games on the many tv sets. Cindy makes coming here a real treat. read more

After a long decision of picking where to eat, we decided to come here. This was our criteria: - A restaurant with a view - Outside seating - Fish and chips - Easy and free parking Maggie Bluff checked all those boxes for us. No reservation was needed, and we were seated right away. We reviewed the menu and picked out a couple of items to share: Maggie's Classic Burger ($15.70) and Fish & Chips ($19.20, three pieces). Placing the order was a bit difficult since it took a while before the waitress arrived. I saw another couple sit down and then leave after not receiving much service. They might have been short-staffed, even though it wasn't terribly busy and not all the tables were full. We didn't leave because we were hungry. Haha. We enjoyed the view while we waited for our food to arrive. The sun was shining, and the view was stunning. However, after a while, it does get a bit chilly, so bring a jacket! We were so excited when our food arrived because we selected tater tots (my fave) and sweet potato fries! We shared everything and I thought everything was delicious. The fish had just enough batter to coat the fish, and I can still taste the fish. Yay! The burger was a little plain, could probably use a couple of pieces of bacon. But as the name suggests "classic burger" - I should not be expecting anything more from it. I would say decent portion size and pricing. We could use a little more service for a water refill, which would probably be our only complain. However, not bad, Maggie Bluffs, not bad. Cash or card accepted. Plenty of parking in front of the main restaurant, Palisade. Outdoor seating is great for people-watching on a warm, sunny day. read more

Maggie Bluffs is right below Palisades so it shares the same spectacular view albeit on the ground level, which is best enjoyed outside on the patio when the weather is nice. The menu is somewhat limited basics like burgers, fish and chips and tacos, Tried the burger and blackened salmon tacos (nice alternative to fried), which were both decent. Prices are very reasonable and the service was solid. Overall, it's a nice stop with a view, and while the food won't be revolutionary, you won't have a bad meal or pay an arm and a leg. read more

And only two parties in the restaurant when we were here. What has happened to Maggie Bluffs? Perhaps read on... From the menu - which seems much smaller than it used to be ? - We had some clam chowder, the chicken wings, some street tacos and a salmon caesar. Chowder was clam-filled but somewhat pricey - 8.70 for a small cup. The street tacos were a highlight, though the accompanying salsa seemed like it was from a jar. The Caesar salad was somewhat pedestrian though the salmon was excellent quality. The wings were $16.70 - see photo. This too seems pricey... Maybe I don't get out enough and haven't noticed prices have skyrocketed. At least there weren't any tricks like "5% for managers kickback" or whatever. Plus no "3% for credit card". Thus, Maggie Bluffs is still on our rotation of places to go. Just add more menu choices, OK Maggie? read more

Came on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and were told we could sit anywhere because they weren't very busy. Service was good and food came out quick. My friend said the food was pretty good but I have to disagree considering our 2 piece Fish and Chips, Prime Rib Dip, and Calamari came out to about $70 after tips. Although I do understand the fact that the restaurant is right on the marina. Nothing much to write about but seems to be a solid spot for locals or families who want to dine with a nice view but don't want to spend a lot of money in Palisade, right upstairs. Food barely had any seasoning, but I do have to say that the sweet potato fries were delicious! Would I personally come back? Alright, me and Maggie's officially go way back to the good old days. I have fond memories of HH and wings in a divine Cola BBQ sauce, that despite my best efforts will not return to the menu. I must give 5 stars because of the potential this little gem with a view holds in the Magnolia neighborhood. It's super close to town, has a wonderful sunset view all summer long, and cold flowing drinks for whatever peaks your interest that day. A for effort, B for food, and an F to management for consistently failing to properly staff this place on a sunny day. It seems like no matter when I come in, high season, low season, a holiday, a Monday at 2p, the staff is working their A**es off to keep this place afloat, and no one comes to save them as they clearly drown. I came in last week on a known to be beautiful sunny day - pre-spring as we call it, and sure enough they were busy. It was early in the day and not too, too busy, but after I sat down, a lot of other's came in. There were only two cooks, and two servers. One server usually does the drinks to help out, but they were both working at their fastest and most efficient levels. They looked stressed but were always so nice when asked a question or it was time to order. Because of all of this, I watched a small family come in, not get a drink for over 10 minutes, then not get their order taken for another 15. The food never made it by the time I left and they were looking agitated but understanding that they were overwhelmed - who wouldn't be? Well some people get really annoyed and take that hangry attitude out on the staff --- which again, thank you management for not properly staffing and then allowing your staff to have to deal with double or triple stress from disgruntled customers. Tip - there's plenty of staff upstairs who can come down to assist. Whether they come down in two hour shifts, or what is up to you, but be fair and spread the help out on a busy, sunny, Saturday. You are going to lose Maggie's as more and more people quit restaurants. High prices = High expectations. We still have to tip 20% on higher menu prices, so please help out your crew so they don't burn out and leave the customers hanging. read more

Located at the Magnolia Marina under the Palisades restaurant lies this little gem. A casual environment makes this a great choice for the family as well. With a good selection of soups, sandwiches and salads, you will have something to your liking. On this night it was a Sunday evening so not your typical go out and eat night. However our server was very attentive and was quick with our refills. In todays day and age, staying under $30 per plate your doing good. That is easily achievable here. The food is probably more like a 3.5. Solid but not spectacular. What moves the needle is that fact that Maggie Bluff's is dog friendly. There were a couple of really cute pups out with their people and my little rescue mutt was at home today so it was nice to enjoy the goofy guys hanging out. Fish and chips were tasty but pretty greasy - more so than normal. My bud had a burger - looked pretty good and you can't miss with tater tots. :) I ordered the sweet potato fries to go with the fish. Yum. Years ago they had a killer meatloaf. We had lunch at Maggie's today. The view and our server (Aiden) were 5 stars. Unfortunately the food was just not good. The mushroom burger tasted like the meat was frozen and was not even average for a pub. The cod tacos were underwhelming. Over breaded and the tortillas were gummy and cold. This is our second trip in the last 3 months and unfortunately this seems to be consistent. We might go back for the views and have a beer but that is it. It is really unfortunate that Maggie's seems to have declined. It used to be one of the best places in Seattle with awesome views and good food combo. Magnolia Village should intervene and buy Palisades and Maggie's from Landry's and return them to 'best in the area' status. It is a shame not to get the best out of those amazing views. read more

No clue why these guys have such a low rating - we thought it was great! We split the 3 piece fish & chips and I'm glad we just got 1 to split because it was HUGE. I tried a Bloody Mary that was really good, and my bf had a draft beer - they have a decent selection. We split a yummy slice of key lime pie for dessert and were absolutely stuffed when we left. Service was super friendly and attentive. I will say that we were there in Nov, so it was pretty quiet. It probably gets really crazy in warmer months, but we were able to enjoy a nice, quiet dinner at the time we were there, and the fish and chips were some of the best we've had in quite a while. read more

We had pancakes for one meal and the Maggie Marina breakfast for the other. Small portions and if you want 1 slice of toast (cut in half) it'll be $2 extra. The bacon was undercooked and super thin. The eggs were, eggs....but cooked perfectly. The potatoes were ok but small portion. The coffee was amazing. It'll cost ya $4.50 and a soda $4.75. The pancake meal came with bacon and we got a side of potatoes....$5, and small portion. So for $51.04 we had an ok breakfast with a great view and superb service. $10 tip and $60 total. read more

Maggi es is my go to. It is my favorite spring and summer spot in the city to get away and feel disconnected from the city but close to the water. All i have to say is WOW! What an amazing meal! My Wife and I had fish and chips with tater tots. The fish was perfectly breaded and moist with really tasty tarter and cocktail sauce. The tater tots were perfectly crispy and out of this world tasty. My parents had a prime rib sandwich, which was very moist and very very tasty with there spices, the dip had caramelized onions and my gosh! The taste was amazing! Really Cindy the bar tender who made my bloody Mary made it perfect and trust me, as a trucker who's traveled all of America and Canada this Bloody Mary is 2nd to none! Definitely coming back here. Location, location, location. I cycled here as it's just a half mile past the end of the Elliott Bay Trail - completely flat ride from the downtown waterfront. There's plenty of parking too. And their outside patio has a beautiful view of the marina - although I got takeout and sat at one of the many tables at the marina looking at the Space Needle and boats. Food is consistent, American casual waterfront dining - the fries we had were crisp and the club sandwich was on ciabatta with a lot of turkey. Good socially distant pick-up line, everyone wearing masks, place looked freshly cleaned.
