My boyfriend and I were visiting Disneyland and in search of a local breakfast place away from all the Disney family hustle and bustle that's around the other restaurants closer to the park. The French toast I had was delicious; and the bacon and eggs that accompanied it were quite tasty. My boyfriend had the eggs Benedict and said they were pretty good. We both had some of the "special" hash browns suggested by the cashier (Willy?) when we ordered and I really liked them. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Also one of the few hash browns I've had that have been properly seasoned upon arriving at my table. That seems to be a rarity with me. If you're looking for someone fancy, this isn't it, but I liked the vibe and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. The service was friendly as well. The only critique I have is it seemed to take a bit for our food to arrive BUT it was hot and fresh when it did so not a big deal. They claim to have the best eggs Benedict in Orange County and I think that's the truth! The eggs Benedict was amazing and the hollandaise sauce was creamy with just the right amount of seasoning and not too much lemon. All of the food we got was very good. Like other reviews say, their eggs benedict are out of this world!! One of my few favorite places to get eggs benedict for breakfast/brunch!! Although it is a greek/Mediterranean food place, they make some oddly delicious egg benedict dish. It's like your any typical eggs benedict dish - poached eggs, slices of ham, toasted English muffin, their killer hollandaise sauce, and your choice of hashbrowns or everything potatoes! I honestly believe it's their hollandaise sauce that seals the deal for this dish! It's a bit more unique since they add cheese to theirs, but most definitely is still delicious! I can really eat that sauce with anything really, that's how good it is! Food is made to order so I appreciate it a lot and enjoy it more too when it's hot and fresh!! I'm just sad this place is only open until 3pm, but if anything it motivates me to wake up earlier than usual to get a taste of their dish!! Service is fast and friendly! Came at around 1130am on a Sunday and holy cow was it busy. Ordered a gyro with rice. It took a while to come out; however, I did not really care because the food was absolutely phenomenal. Tried this great place for a quick Saturday breakfast, did the famous EB with those potatoes. Couldn't have changed anything. Sauce was as good if not the best cream and flavor with the lemon finish. Ham was cut even and heated completely Not overcooked and perfection at its finest. I could have this dish over and over again. Motto of do one thing and do it right. We came in because it was close to our hotel and it was the highest rated on Yelp. I chose to get the Greek salad because I am on a diet. However, my daughter got the Gyro and my bgf (bestest girlfriend) got the sausage omelette. Everything was done fresh and my salad was amazing, their Greek sauce is all done in house. The Gyro meat was just soft flavorful and can say it gave Daphnes and George's a run for their money. My daughter got a cookie for desert and we got the baklava also made inhouse... just amazing. The potato salad, which I normally don't like because most preparations of it are too vinegary or too sweet, was great in this regard, but not very flavorful either. Very disappointed with this place after reading the glowing reviews here on Yelp. I will try to be very objective. I already warned my wife and two kids that this place is in a strip mall so we didn't expect it to be fancy. The owners/hosts: Very pleasant and welcoming. The place: There is a difference between dated and unkempt. This place has a dank and musty smell to it. If there was some serious cooking going on in such a TINY place, the whole room would have filled with the aroma of good Greek cooking. I was excited to see the tin ceiling that somebody took a picture of and posted here on Yelp. Yes, the celing is there and so are the dirty vents. The food: The gyro is ok. It is a commercial brand, probably Kronos and comes in frozen strips that they grill. I wish they made their own gyro and had a vertical spit. The Greek salad: chopped up lettuce with some chopped tomatoes and cukes, and a couple oilves. The cheese did not look like crumbly feta--it was some kind of shredded white cheese the texture of mozzarella. The lemon soup tasted bland--maybe a relish of chopped parsley would have brightened it. The lady owner offered not to include the soup in the bill when she noticed my wife only took a few spoonfuls. The lady tried to explain that it was an acquired taste. If I told you the lemon soup consisted of rice and shredded chicken, that's your basic chicken soup plus a taste of lemons. I don't think it's too exotic to be an acquired taste. It was simply uninspiring. We are from out of town and have eaten in a lot of Greek eateries and restaurants. Had egg Benedict. They have different kinds. The egg was poached to perfection and very flavorful. But in my own opinion it wasnt the best I had. I believe there is only one cook, so food takes some time. We didnt mind the wait. There is no bathroom in the restaurant, so recommend going before you go. Otherwise you have to walk somewhere. My second time here today! Breakfast was so good I had to come back and try lunch! I had the corn beef hash with those potatoes this morning. Loved it. For lunch I had the Chicken plate. Store looked nice. Parking was awful. But that was due to them paving parts of the parking lot. I ordered a chicken plate. Came with rice, pita and choice of salad. I picked macaroni salad which was pretty good. The chicken was shredded and kind of bland. The rice was ok kind of over cooked. And they gave me a weird dipping sauce that looked like juice from the chicken which wasn't bad but they didn't give any hot sauce, tzatziki or garlic sauce like most Mediterranean/Greek places.
