On Feb 8th their website had plastered all over it "ORDER TODAY! GUARANTEED BY VALENTINES!" So it's Valentine's, I take off work early figured I'd work this weekend to make up for it. Head home to get my pan and head to my boyfriends house to surprise him. Get home, no package but a notice to sign. So I drive an hour down to the UPS hub to get the package. It must be my pan because they "Guaranteed by Valentine's" I get down there and the truck isn't back that has my package. So I sit there and wait for over an hour before we find out these packages were not my pan. It is now 5pm rush hour in Phoenix my drive to my boyfriends house is now 20miles 1hour and 30 minute drive. And low and behold these ass holes lied. I looked up my package and it's expected delivery is the 15th. HOW THE HELL DOES THAT HELP ME MAKE VALENTINES DINNER!? I feel like I should be able to sue these people for false advertising. If there are any lately knowledgeable people that read this please let me know if that's possible because I would purse that. Needless to say, their guarantees aren't worth sh*t and I cut work early just to waste my day and miss this stupid holiday and spend it alone in a ups hub all because I Was stupid enough to believe this horrendous company's promises. I will never shop here again and would not recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to get jerked around. read more

Very helpful staff, took care of my holiday purchase for me. They didn't know much about the pasta maker but were very professional and went the extra mile to do everything they could to help me. Store was some what cramped w a long line but hey it's the holidays what can you expect? I would go back and shop this store. read more

If you do not have way to service "order online pick up in store" ,then don't do it. I stood in two lines and it still was faster to go to the shelf to pick up the item and pay for it. Very disorganized. The clerks were nice but when there is a line you don't need to find out the life story of each customer. read more

No price adjustments! Beware even if it's one day later they will not give a price adjustment. On top of that very rude!

I like this Williams-Sonoma best. It is always the cleanest, best stocked, and quietest location. I think the fact that Biltmore is not as frequented as other larger malls helps. The employees here are always friendly, and thankfully I have never found them to be pushy. They greet me and then leave me to do my lusting... I mean shopping. of course this place has the best and coolest kitchen stuff. a stop on our Elite Yelp event, we were treated to a miniature cooking demo with some of their products. the chefs were funny and very personable. they cooked up some pies and pizzas for the group. i do like browsing. it's a bit out of my budget (sorry honey, i know you love kitchen gear). something i didn't know about williams sonoma....they host artisan and technique classes....and even will show you how to use a real chefs knife for free if you are like me and normally use whatever is handy to chop things. a great shop, great products, great service. read more

Everyone has a vice and I am quick to admit that mine is Williams-Sonoma. It started off innocent enough. I would browse every now and again and marvel at the array of products. Back then, I would never really buy anything, but I would promise myself that I could have whatever I wanted once I renovated my kitchen. It took me a long time to achieve that goal, but eventually I did. Then the flirtation blossomed into my first purchase. My torrid affair with Williams-Sonoma has been raging for a couple of years now. In Phoenix, the Biltmore Fashion Park store is my favorite Williams-Sonoma location. The one at the Fashion Square is okay, but it feels cramped. I travel for business and I seek out Williams-Sonoma stores on the road. The one in Oak Brook (suburban Chicago) is nice. The store in Walnut Creek, CA is also nice. The new flagship in Union Square in San Francisco is like Williams-Sonoma Mecca! It's four floors of everything Williams-Sonoma carries as well as artifacts from Chuck Williams' own kitchen. It's like a Williams-Sonoma museum combined with the entire product line. As a side note, the original Williams-Sonoma store that was on the square in Sonoma has been closed. The Union Square store replaced it. Williams-Sonoma is the best! The products are all of the finest quality and they stand by everything they sell. If you ever have a problem, they will take the item back with no questions asked and give you store credit if you don't have your receipt. I've bought everything at Williams-Sonoma from my Le Creuset Doufeu to Fleur de Sel French sea salt. If you love to cook, this is the place for you. If you bake or cook a lot, be sure to check out their All-Clad Stainless Steel Measuring Cups & Spoons. The measuring cups are adorable because they're miniature versions of the All-Clad saucepan. For standard measures, they offer sets of both four cups and spoons: 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 1 cup; 1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp and 1 Tbs. The really handy items are the odd-size sets. They offer sets of both cups and spoons in the following odd sizes: 2/3 cup, 3/4 cup and 1 1/2 cups; 2 tsp, 1 1/2 Tbs and 2 Tbs. All the spoons stack together into a cute space-saving group. All four sets of measures make an awesome gift! Don't overlook their website. Sometimes they will have Special Offers for products online that can be upwards of 50% off of the same items in the stores. This drives the BF a bit crazy because he thinks their pricing should be consistent across all retail channels, but I'm willing to check their website frequently as I have found a number of bargains online. read more

I bought a couch from William-Sonoma home. Paid almost $3000 for it. I was told delivery would take about 6 weeks. Ok. I am willing to wait. I got a call that couch was ready for delivery. When the delivery people showed up they had a single couch cushion, which by the way was dirty. They had no idea where the rest of the couch was. I started calling and calling. I also emailed. After spending about three hours on hold after various calls and sending emails I finally got a response. I was told a new couch would be ordered and would be ready in another 6 weeks. I said I don't want another one from William Sonoma. That will be 12 weeks total and I have no couch. No couch. I got rid of my old one the day the delivery was supposed to happen. I was basically told too bad. No refunds. Nice. Save your money. I found a very comparable couch on a site called Rove Concepts. It is lovely and so is their service. Save your money and find somewhere else to spend it. Dont spend it here. read more

I don't always go shopping for kitchen items...but should I start, I'd probably go here. Great selection of useful cooking items. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. And, apparently there are free classes on the weekends. I would definitely like to check one (or some) of those out in the future. read more

What a great shop! As crazy as it sounds, I've never been in here! For a cooking nut like me, that's just bonkers. They have every single awesome cooking toy you could ever want and WAAY more. They also have tons of sauces, rubs, seasonings etc to play around with. The only draw back is it's VERY pricey, although it's all super quality stuff. They DO have classes every Sunday at 11. I LOVE THIS PLACE !! They have anything and EVERYTHING you could possibly need for cooking baking and anything that has to do with preparation of foods. Its a little on the $$Pricey side of where your coins might be at the time but chances are well worth the money. They have spices, unique brands, imports, gadgets, scrubbers...... I really like some of the products here, but I was just in with a couple of girlfriends and one of my friends accidentally dropped her iced coffee on the floor. The employees did nothing to assist aside from handing us a roll of paper towels. They also fled to the other side of the registers and did not say anything the entire time we were on the floor cleaning. We understand it's our error the drink was spilled, however, as a retail employee, their behavior was disrespectful and elitist. And we bought merchandise! We have never observed similar behavior in other retail establishments. Very disappointing. read more

William-Sonoma is fabulous. Cooking & food combined? What can go wrong. Fashion Square is the best one in the city! They have demo classes and cooking classes and there isn't a question they don't have an answer for. Went to Saturday's technique class and thought Bob was the best. Damaged my marriage For Christmas my wife's mother sent us some plates which were not to our liking so we chose to return them to the local Williams Sonoma. I took them in and was told by the manager that a gift card would be sent to us within 3 weeks. Today my wife called to follow up and it turns out that Williams Sonoma has instead returned the charge to the original card which has allowed her mother to see that we returned her gift. This is despite the fact that I confirmed with the manager that he gift card would be sent to our address... she even circled the return address! While Williams Sonoma has offered an apology this mistake has caused some unwanted tension in our family. Sadly, "sorry" from a call center isn't a satisfactory resolution to the problem they have created. Please avoid this location as they cannot even process a return properly. The only way to be sure this doesn't happen again will be to avoid spending money at William Sonoma. read more

I was treated like trash by Kristine ???? a sales woman when I went to return a Nespresso Milk Frother that I bought at the Biltmore store. It stopped working. I had the receipt, the original box and even the original William Sonoma bag. When she found out I needed to return something she said "you'll have to wait." She went to a computer and did stuff and even made a phone call. She kept saying "I have one and my daughters have one and they work perfect for years." I finally got store credit. Don't go there. You will get better service at Wallmart !!!!! read more

We received a Christmas gift that, although we had asked for the item, it became a duplicate when more than one person gave us one. I went to exchange it for something else. Obviously I didn't have a receipt for the original gift. I was told that without an original receipt I would need to make my selection right then and there for the replacement. They would not give me a credit for future use when I might have more time and might know what I really wanted. Oh well, I was told how much $ I had to work with and found some items. I knew I hadn't selected items equal in value to my "credit" so I took the items to the counter and after waiting almost 5 minutes a clerk approached and I asked what I still had left to work with. That clerk apparently didn't know how to use the register properly and needed to find help from someone else. She disappeared and was gone for several minutes. A line was forming and there was nobody to ring anyone up but everyone who walked into the store was pounced on and asked what they were looking for and if they needed help. When I entered I said "no thank you" since I didn't yet know what I wanted and needed to look around but then the clerk proceeded to waste my time with a long monologue about all their sales and various promotions. Eventually someone else came to help but they couldn't work the register either and she had to ask yet another person. I had to wait while the person was shown how to use the register and apply the sales prices. It took an exorbitantly long time and it appeared that every item needed to be manually entered several times and in different ways. Finally I was told how much I had left and shopped some more. I tried to add up the value as I selected items and I knew I was close (didn't try to calculate to the penny but I do have a doctorate - and can add). When I came back with my items we had to start the whole process all over again. It took at least 4 minutes just to "ring me up" and then I was told that I owed them a significant amount (I knew that could't be but by this time was getting ticked off so I wasn't about to spend "good money after bad".) I put back a couple things equal in price to the "overage" and guess what? Yes - we had to start all over again. The return (my ID etc....) the ringing up, the voiding process to apply the sales price etc. It seemed to take forever and then I was told that I now had a credit that was more than I was originally told I had to work with in the first place! I then had to walk the clerk through all the items and added them up for her to show her approximately what they should cost and she then proceeded to start the process all over yet again. Turns out I had it right in the first place and retrieved the items I took back to the shelf. I had spent well over an hour and a half in the store and it should have been quite obvious that I was not happy. No apology offered or even a look of understanding, just a rude sneer from the clerk. When I finally voiced a complaint the clerk she said that I should be happy that they took the item back without a receipt at all and that most stores wouldn't (not true at all!) If that is Williams-Sonoma's policy it seems inconsistent with the very retail and gift nature of their business but I wasn't complaining about their return policy - my issue was with the poor customer service and incompetence of the sales lady. I asked to speak to the manager and she said that would be her (I don't know if I believe it). She was rude, unprofessional, condensing and didn't appear to know what she was doing. Needless to say I am not at all happy with the experience. When I got home I looked over the receipt and of course the sales prices on more than one item were not properly applied. I was charged more than the sticker on at least two products and there was supposed to be a further "one day only" discount. Oh well. I am not about to go back. We are fringe "foodies" and have shopped a lot at Williiams-Sonoma in the past (to the tune of thousands of dollars) and have not had similar experiences so I am not down on the franchise but the Camelback location should be avoided at all cost! Try Fashion Square (there is a Sur le Table there too and that is where we will take our business from now on) read more

My husband and I went to the Camelback Williams Sonoma location to 'browse' at some coffee makers. We were fortunate to meet a knowledgable and friendly employee named Rose, who went above and beyond the service we expected. On a mildly busy weekend day, she offered to demo several different coffee makers as well as a frother I was interested in. We went home with a Moccamaster coffee maker, an electric Nespresso frother, and a Cuisinart burr grinder. A few weeks later I received an unexpected follow-up call from Rose, asking how things were going with our purchases! We are extremely pleased. I recommend this location for it's outstanding customer service. read more
