Wonderful products but absolutely the worst customer service. Months to get products in. Supposed "experts' suggest french door hardware for a prexisting door. When the hardware doesn't fit, you return the product., then have to hound them for 5 months for a refund. Refund finally arrives but with a "restocking fee" subtracted. This, on a product that they guaranteed would fit. "Nicole" is never available to discuss this and will call back once to your 5+ messages. read more

Not impressed, went there less than an a month ago. Purchased several thousands of dollars worth of plumbing fixtures. Also picked out cabinet hardware and paid for three "samples." I went back today to make a large purchase of the cabinet hardware and was quoted more than double the price per item than I paid less than a month ago. I was told, sorry we had a price increase and tariffs for an item produced from Vietnam, really? Not to mention, I was going to have to pay frieght! BTW the item is being discontinued from the manufacturer and is likely sitting on a shelf somewhere in the US, not affected by tariffs! Total scam! Not to worry, I found the cheaper at Ferguson! Clyde Hardware sells upscale, premium faucets, sinks, tubs and pretty much everything you need for your kitchen and bath area needs. We came in to view their faucets and sinks, specifically shop for both a new kitchen sink and faucet. We were able to narrow down our search quite a bit. Their showroom had both Dornbracht and Julien (the two we wanted to look at in person) as well as many other brands. Oh! I forgot to mention they have a huge selection of cabinet hardware (pulls and knobs ect.). Most items need to be ordered but it helps to view them in person. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back! read more

This business is a five star in our book. My wife and I went there on a recommendation from AZ Best Family Painting and it was a great tip. We needed cabinet hinge hardware for our kitchen and Jesse found exactly what we needed. We bought what I thought we needed. I think we may want more and certainly will return. If you want to know if they have an item I would advise going to the store considering I attempted multiple times to get the information via the phone. They don't call you back and it goes to voicemail if you're on hold too long. Otherwise the store is always fun to see. read more

Thanks to Deb L's plus one, we stopped in a few weeks ago to check out drawer hardware. It's like a virtual cornucopia of all things HGTV. If you need handle pulls, door knobs, bath fixtures, anything hardware, this is the place to go. Just not if you need it in a hurry as most of the product is special order. Will definitely return when we have a master bath or kitchen remodel. These two we won't be doing ourselves. We'd like to save our marriage. read more

Maybe they are great for plumbing fixtures, but they were recommended to us as being the "greatest source of door hardware in Phoenix. Not in my book! here is how it went! Phone call after recommendation: " I need to find door hardware to fit (parameters A, B, C....) Oh yes, we can help you, but it is advisable you make an appointment. OK make me an appointment...." I described my exact needs down to the sixteenth of an inch. I was told "Oh yes, we can find you exactly what you need." My wife and I drove nearly 30 miles for this "appointment". what did we get? We got to stand at the front counter while our "expert" pulled put the same catalogs you can find at Lowe's, Home Depot, and on line. Then we were told, for all practical purposes, "we can't replace what you want replaced, you will have to modify..." This is what I pointed out when I was told to make an appointment with the "Expert"! Further, our "Expert" was so busy telling a contractor how much he owed and had to pay for before he could get his material and how "Mr. X" (won't discuss names here) has been looking for him to tell him how much he owes that she couldn't keep track of our conversation! I am sure this contractor really wanted me to know his financial business! This had to be the most unprofessional business dealing I have had experienced/witnessed! They could call me tomorrow and tell me they have exactly what I need and I would not buy a lollipop from these people! Having dealt with contractors and suppliers for nearly 45 years, this was definitely the most worthless, unprofessional group of people I have ever encountered! read more

We recently went to Clyde's Hardware for a replacement part for a bidet. Salesman was helpful but had to order the part which he did on the computer or so we thought. Told us the part was in stock, took our credit card payment and told us a day when the part would be there. But they NEVER ordered the part!! When I inquired, Debbie was curt to say the least. Later called me and told me the part "was on back order!" Not so according to the salesman. Why oh why would we want to do business with them in the future? We were required to pay shipping ($13.00 for a plastic part that weighed no more than 1/2 ounce) plus tax, plus made several trips to the store and to be treated like that?? No wonder amazon and other competitors are cleaning their clocks and they have a sign on their door not allowing photos. read more

Ordered a tub. Asked about the hardware two different times. Toni blatantly lied to me two separate times that I had to buy this from them for over $400!!!! My plumber brought the pieces said they were at Lowe's for $80. Called to return and was told I need to pay a restocking fee. I said you lied to me and they said to bad. Went to Clyde's at 7 a.m. expecting to shop in the showroom. Stupid me, I misread their website and was clueless that the showroom opened at 9 instead of 7. Fortunately, the will-call folks at Clyde's were great and basically said "no worries" and to sit tight. Before long, a highly-knowledgeable person with excellent communication and customer-service skills named Toni Mar appeared and asked me what I needed. BTW, I needed door handles/pulls for customized doors that I'm having made. Toni patiently talked me through my options while being incredibly sensitive to the "sticker shock" I got when I started looking at the solid bronze pulls! At the end of the day, due to Toni's knowledge, skill, and remarkable patience, I ended up purchasing over $1,000 worth of hardware and could not be happier! My experience at Clyde's was overwhelmingly positive thanks primarily to Toni. I can't end this review without saying that Clyde's Hardware has a great family feel to it. OK, so their hours aren't the greatest but you don't have to go there either. I needed a part for my cabinet and the Depot, Lowe's or Ace didn't have it. I thought I was stuck but the guy at Ace told me about Clyde.It's a long way from New River, but I had to be in the area, left a little early so I'd make it before 4 and they had the exact part I needed. They probably could have ripped me off (I was desperate) but I got out of there for 54 cents (tax included). The people there were friendly and helpful. read more

Don't purchase anything until you ask about their restocking fees!!!! I purchased over 1200.00 in hardware and asked at the time of purchase if they were returnable and the sales person said absolutely. what they DON'T tell you is how much of a fee they will charge you. It turns out that those fees were 25% ! The owner MARTHA was very nasty and said she would not do anything to help me. I am now in a dispute with clyde hardware and my credit card company( who is trying to help us)and is just as schocked as we are that clyde hardware is not refunding the full amount. based on the fact that not one but two employees both told me the merchandise was returnable. Clyde hardware is a very dishonest company that avoids telling you what you are in for. This isn't the first time I have been there and had not to great of customer service. They are rude to designers and that's unacceptable when you have clients with you. often I heard this same complaint from other designers who don't go there anymore. The nick name for clyde hardware by other designers and cabinetry businesses is THE DUMP! Now I unfortunately know why. I've talked with a lot of business owner friends of mine and most suggested R&R plumbing instead ,so I went and purchased from them today and they were very helpful and even let me bring home a sample board to look at over the weekend! wow what a difference!
