This 2nd generation family owned and OPERATED hardware store has had several setbacks since the original Owners (Tony & Martha) passed away handing it down to their children who are now running the business. Times have certainly changed - and the family owned businesses in our community are working much harder to keep up with the chain type stores. Many people in Glendale and the entire Valley knew Tony & Martha personally and their children as they grew up in the business. This store so small was often referred to as - IF YOU CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE - GO TO T&M - THEY HAVE EVERYTHING - and very seldom did a customer leave empty handed, because somewhere in that small - fully packed store with wall to wall products -- they had what you needed. If not Tony knew where you could get it, if it wasn't in our valley he would bring it in from out-of-town and you would come back for it in a few days. No internet or Amazon back in those days, mind you. lol The same customer service still existing this neighborhood Hardware Store and I find it sad to see that "YELP" Has listed it as "PERMANENTLY CLOSED" Because it is NOT - IT IS OPEN! Do to several setbacks and now the Covid-19 situation (which we pray will end soon) the store has cut hours) -- the main change is fewer employees and instead of circles taped or painted on the floor 6' apart all over the store . . . . I purchased a dog pool here with paw print art and it's been great and lasted 2 summers. This season I decided to replace with a new one. However the one I purchased this season has fish as the art. It's a thinner plastic and doesn't work well for small dogs. The art is peeling off in a weird way and making goopy mess. The sides just bend and folds the plastic making it tear easily. I will be on the lookout to see if they get any paw printed pools and I will change my star to five if they do. Dog paw pools and fish contractor pools are way different.

The cashier told us to come back another day but as long as she is working it'll always be a limit two. I'm clearly not hoarding or reselling these- all three kids are with me.
