This company does not stand behind its products. I bought a roasting pan and used it 3 times- the gold non-stick finish baked off. I sent pictures. Waited on hold ts speak to a manager for over 30 minutes- who never took my call. Long story short- I was told the pan was over a year old (15months to be exact)- so they would do nothing. Its is a lousy company- here is the lousy product they still peddle- Williams Sonoma Goldtouch® Savory Roasting Set with Lasagna Pan & Rack $69.95. Garbage at its best! read more

Surprisingly poor customer service experience at this location. I walked in during a quiet time of day with lots of ladies working. No one greeted me or asked me for help three of them were just staring outside at the front register. I wondered around looking for a particular item I had see online and didn't find it. I ended up approaching someone to try and get some help and was greeted with a blank stare. The person next to them ended up coming over and asking what I was looking for. I described the item and was shown other things not at all resembling my description. I then pulled up the item online to show them and was told they didn't have it but they MIGHT be able to help me order it but was told to look at a competitor down the way. She mentioned that 'MAYBE I'll look and see if we have it if you return'. Needless to say I won't be returning to this location. If you're going to charge significantly more than your competitors I would hope you make up for it with stellar customer service but that is not happening here. read more

Experienced the WORST customer service at this location. A love one of mine ordered an item on sale that arrived damaged and asked to exchange it for the exact same item. The staff went to look for the item in the back and forced my loved one to return their item without explaining the process AT ALL. Turns out they did not have the item in stock and wanted my loved one to pay full price. No remorse for not explaining the process and the Customer Service line refused to help too. I am replacing my older pots and pans because it is just time to do so. The hey servers their life expectancy and now I am replacing them with the Williams Sonoma Signature Series Thermo Clad Stainless Steel products. They are just beautiful. The lids are very heavy on the pots! They are made in Italy and deliver even heat. The pasta pot with the insert has a special rapid boil bottom. Even though they are not " non stick", they clean up like a breeze and are dishwasher safe. As my guy friends say, I am in my element cooking in the kitchen!! I bought a very expensive toaster. I thought if I spent more I'd get higher quality. Not only did I not get higher quality. I got terrible customer service and a company that doesn't stand behind their product. I've had issues from it with from day one I've only had it for 38 days and they gave me a phone number to another country to have it serviced. I am new to buying William Sonoma, spent over $1,000 first time I walked in there, and continue to go there and spend money. All I have to say is the staff is the most discombobulated set of women I've ever met. They don't know how to check their stock or know what's in their store as far as inventory. #williamsonoma feeling frustrated and sharing that william sonoma customer service and products are not what they used to be. I purchased two items in February 2023. Within 3 months, I could not use them. The whisk broke from the base, and the strainers' handle broke. I called customer service 877-812-6235 and spoke with a lady by the name of A Warren, which made me feel like I was trying to take advantage of WS. Bottom line do not buy item from them they are not what they used to be, which was quality over quantity. Shame. I will be canceling my credit card. read more

Store is nice, but whatever you do, do not use their online shopping. I hate to recommend Amazon over anyone, but I'd 100% use Amazon for any good you find on the WS website. You'll get it quicker and if you have problems, their customer service will basically help you. WS customer service is a joke. Item I purchased and was listed as in stock and ready to ship took 4 days to actually print a label and another half a day to had off to the shipper. Then it was sent slow boat. Missed their already excessive shipping estimates by DAYS. What do you get? Nada. Nothing. Zilch. Wait ... I'm being unfair. They actually blamed UPS. POS company. read more

I ordered Magret Duck on November 20th for Thanksgiving. The day before Thanksgiving I received a phone call stating that due to production problem at the D'Artagnan my order would be late. Since that time, I have received promises of Delivery for December 4, 11, 19, 24 and this morning Dec. 25th. Each time I have been given "production problems" so either D'Artagnan ran out of ducks or all their employees quit. I cannot receive a refund because the order is "in process". At this point, it's ridiculous. I have to continue to call until such time that my order is actually fulfilled and I receive it before Williams Sonoma will do anything further. Customer service reps are friendly but useless in resolving the issue. read more

Beware of Williams-Sonoma! Oh sure you may think you are in for just an item or two. However once inside, your eyes gravitate towards all the wonderful things they offer. Williams-Sonoma carries extensive kitchen must haves from a gorgeous 10K (thats right $10,000!) La Cornue CornuFé Range, to a wooden spoon; and everything in between. Walked in for my yearly Panettone bread (an Italian Christmas bread I've eaten since I was a child of 23 y.o.) they carry which is my favorite (please see pic). Of course, strolling thru the store is deadly, as you begin to think of kitchen stuff you are missing and in need of, to carry out your non cooking skills for unsuspecting victims. Although it was a madhouse due to Post-Thanksgiving sales, Miss Jessica was a seasoned professional. She was at the ready helping a multiple of customers including us with the few items accumulated. A particular pan I wanted was not in-house, however Miss Jessica placed an order without delay and all was well. Plus! she mentioned their Key program which earns 3% at many stores associated with WS such as Pottery Barn, West Elm and others. Sign Me Up! Now I'm in the 3 percenters bracket! I love walking around in this store. The people in it are always super helpful too. I have not participated in one of their cooking lessons but think that would be fun! You can get really great gift ideas here or you might be like me and are looking for something totally different. Last time I was here I was on the lookout for silicone pot holders, which they had. I had seen cute ones made into animals that you put your hands in. Although they had silicone pot holders, they weren't the animal ones, but I still love to browse this store. It's still a fun place to come to visit. I enjoy coming in here and looking around at all the great designs and table scapes. The Selection is wonderful and constantly changing. Although I now notice the quality is still good but, it's not the fantastic high-end quality it was 20 years ago on about half the products probably. Not the fault of Williams and Sonoma. But, more of the faults of society and what we're willing to expect in a product. Sometimes they even have a little things cooked ,as well as coffee or something to drink that they made. For the public to sample. It really seems at times that they work on commission here. As they can be so pushy trying to get you to buy things . They still carry some groceries which is nice. As well as a fantastic selection on line. This location at the mill always been here as long as I can remember. Probably over 30 years. Total Junk I purchased a zuchini noodle shredder that doesn't work. The crown shaped piece that holds and rotates the zuchini is not deep or strong enough to spin the zuchini against the blade. The crown just spins inside the zuchini. I was informed by W-S this item is not eligible for returning. Most likely because W-S knows it's garbage. I just threw $40 in the trash! I will not shop here again and tell friends the same. read more

This store is so beautiful it resembles a museum! I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful cookware store! They sell the finest cookware and tools for the gourmet cook! I went to the store on a late afternoon/evening to buy fruit tart tin. I looked and looked, I waited to be helped. Possibly I looked frumpy, I trained horses all day and was not looking polished. Staffers ignored my request for assistance. Nothing. Later I had to forcibly ask a guy, he said in a condescending tone "can I help you". Then he looked and said, oh it's here. I purchased and left. A couple was going in and the husband said to his wife, I don't like to go in there, I said to him they won't see you anyway with their noses so high in the air. read more

Yes, you can just go in there and buy whatever you need for your gourmet kitchen, or a unique gift for your best friend or your mother. They will teach you how to use your new purchases and the many options that are available that you had no idea you wanted or even needed. The staff is well-trained, not your usual retail sales clerks, but men and women who know their inventory and how it can make a difference in your cooking life and they aren't afraid to tell you. The WS staff at the Biltmore are on the top end of the sales scale. They are there to teach you what they have in the store, what you might need to fulfill your every kitchen desire and what you cannot live without. My mother received a Williams-Sonoma Le Creuset stock pot in the color OCEAN which is exclusive to this company. There was a lovely display for this in the Biltmore store, so I purchased it for her in November for her birthday. In December, my father called from Scottsdale to ask me about the color and the company that produced the Stock Pot. My mom apparently loves it a lot and wanted more pieces. He drove to Williams and Sonoma in Scottsdale Fashion Square and it was an unproductive trip. The store staff was not familiar with the color, and didn't have anything to offer him - they told him to purchase it online. Upon hearing this, I called the Scottsdale and the Biltmore Stores. The Scottsdale store person had never heard of this color, but he indeed had some pieces in stock. He actually made me to go the website and give him model numbers of things I was hoping to find. It was really crazy. I called Cindy in the Biltmore Store and she was quick to respond that she knew EXACTLY what the color was, she knew they had a floor display of the color and the pots and various other pieces (frying pans, tea kettle, etc.) She also agreed to put a few pieces aside on hold for my Dad so he could look at them quickly and easily without any confusion. My Dad drove down this week and found all the items he wanted to purchase super quickly and he said he did not deal with Cindy, but that the experience he had was very good. He also loved the Biltmore mall and found the parking easy and meandered over to Macy's to get her some Estee Lauder perfume as well. Thank you Williams-Sonoma!!! My mother is going to have a great Christmas. Just when you thought your kitchen was stocked, one visit to Williams Sonoma and you will think otherwise. I've always enjoyed this store, as they have so many fun gadgets to make your at home culinary experiences so much easier. My husband and I registered here for our wedding, and there's nothing more fun than shopping for all of the quality kitchen items they offer with someone else's money. Not only is it fun perusing all of the items in the store, but the extra enjoyment comes from the delicious samples they always have. What's also great is that they offer free cooking demos every Saturday. I went to the one last weekend, and learned how to make fresh pasta and then got to sample it! The staff here is always very accommodating and helpful. I will return many more times for that kitchen item I never thought I needed. read more

I guess because I left my Louis Vuitton at home, am under 45, and have a Hispanic husband the associates didn't feel like I was worth their time. Was in the store for 10+ minutes and never acknowledged until I had found the product I was looking for hidden in a corner and had to stand in line only to be told by the not so lovely Patricia, that they don't have it. Mind you she said this before even bothering to check stock. She and the only other worker in the store had been just lovely to the lady with a designer hand bag in front of me and a older gentleman also checking out who was wearing Gucci loafers. After me asking whether she was sure, she sighed- looked my husband up and down- then walked over to the computer where she took just over 2 seconds to inform me they didn't have it, the other store near Scottsdale didn't and I could go home and go online. My husband and I left, went to the next store, and low and behold they had it despite Patricia's halfhearted effort to deter us or accurately check stock. So which was it Williams Sonoma? My Mexican husband Patricia clearly didn't like the look of? My dressed down look because I'm healthcare worker with a middle of the week day off after working countless hours overtime and just needing something for my espresso machine to keep me going the other days of the week I work? My lack of designer labels for the day? Or just plain poor customer service? Either way, won't be coming back here and highly recommend no one else does either unless you want to be treated like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman during the Rodeo Drive scene. read more

This place has the most amazing kitchen gadgets. Things I would NEVER even fathom having in my kitchen. It's so fun! I wish I had the money to buy everything! I usually do come in here to buy their silicon with wooden handle spoon and spatula though. They are sturdy and I can use them on just about anything. They do have free cooking classes on Sunday's at this location. They recommend that you call and RSVP though in case it's a popular course and they don't have enough food to go around. They are all really friendly there and very helpful with any questions that you may have. read more

I have a serious crush on every Williams Sonoma, but this one in particular is close to my heart. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming to me anytime I shop there. I've had fun buying items off our registry with gift cards and when the toaster we received didn't work, they happily exchanged it for a new one. Like other Williams Sonomas, their quality of products is great but they also incorporate a local feel into their shop as well. They host artisan and technique classes on the weekends and when they do, they bring in local products to use during their classes and the local chefs to do the demos. Fancy shop with great kitchen items that I would use for our kitchen. It seems whenever I go in there their products don't work. Avoid ordering any of their coffee pots because we had to return them twice in a row. It seems like whenever we walk in there the employees don't seem to be knowledgeable about the products there. I love W-S. I do. I just wish I could win the lottery. I could get caught up in their gadgets and thingamajigs all day. I recently watched a demo with a freaking awesome pizza oven. It makes a pizza in 7 minutes. 7 minutes!!!! And it was gooooood. But it was like $200. Can't do it. Mostly because I'd eat pizza all day, everyday. My all time favorite thing about W-S is the turkey brine that only comes out during Thanksgiving time. This brine is amazing and you absolutely cannot make a bad turkey if you use it. While I'm not someone to buy 'mixes' for soups, chilis, etc (I"m a from scratch kind of gal), I do like to buy their starters, mixes, etc as hostess gifts and such. I recently found out that on the first Saturday of hte month, This particular location has local artisans come in and sell their stuff. Kind of like an indoors farmers market. This is one of the nicest Williams-Sonoma stores I've seen in terms of how the merchandise is set up. The store is clean and immaculate. Everything is so well organized, and it isn't too cluttered. The people who work there aren't the friendliest, but it's such a well displayed store (and it's so close to me) that I'll go back. If you're looking for high quality cookware and bakeware, or maybe some specialty food items, definitely give Williams-Sonoma a try. It's pricey, but the products are excellent. read more
