Do not purchase anything from this location. We worked with Tai and she ordered fixtures from a catalogue that were not what we indicated we needed or wanted. She does not know what she is doing. When we had to return the shower fixtures we were charged a restocking fee for each fixture that we could not use. The refund after we had returned the items ordered took months. The manager and employees do not care about your needs and do not know what they are doing. Stay away!! read more

She was very professional, caring and courteous. It has not been an easy process due to manufacturing delays and contractor mishaps but she and the folks at Central Arizona Supply were always there to help. They helped me find solutions to issues clearly outside the scope of a supply vendor and we got excellent quality products at a good price. One word- Unprofessional. We spent $25,000 on merchandise. Audrey the sales representative was rude and made several errors costing us and the store THOUSANDS of dollars to redo. She ordered the wrong rough in valves, bathtub and other items. The items took 6+ months to arrive when we were told it would be 3 weeks. Meanwhile the store kept the money stating they had to have the items to return. The Phoenix store would have us drive to the "Central" store in Mesa as they seemed to be to lazy to get the items we needed. The lack of detail and unprofessionalism cost us (and the store) time and money--Don't make the mistake we did. Bobby, the store manager had to take the account over and apologize. Audrey was too busy outside smoking or babysitting her grandchild at the desk to pay attention to details. I would STRONGLY suggest going to another store for your plumbing needs. I was looking for new bathroom and kitchen features (faucets, shower heads, & lighting) for a remodel. I was expecting to find the " normal" store with average displays and employees who really didn't know anything about the products they sell. I was searching for an elusive part for my kitchen faucet. went to Amazon, Lowe's, , Ace , Van Marcke Plumbing Supply, all to no avail. Showed up at Centra Arizona Supply based on a recommendation. They don't carry the part (and apparently neither does anyone else). But the guys in the parts department said they may have an old one lying around. They were extremely busy, but took time out to search for me!!!! And after 15 minutes of poking around, they found an old one taken off another faucet. Wish I knew the names of the guys, it was a real team effort!! Thanks so much guys! I'm pretty happy. Purchased brand new toilet said in stock within 3 days, 6 weeks later it finally came in went to pickup and the warehouse pulled the wrong item. I then had to wait another day and then picked up another toilet and had it installed and it was still the wrong toilet. Contacted management and was able to determine the toilet and faucet set I ordered was done by salesperson with wrong SKU numbers. That person is no longer employed there. I got home the faucet was the wrong item had to take it back for the right one and I still have the wrong toilet installed in my bathroom. Management should be able to pay for uninstalling the toilet and putting in the correct one I ordered or other compensation. read more

The customer service I received at this store was unbelievably poor. I will never recommend this place to others. The fixtures which I began to order were priced way above retail and this reflected a supposed contractors 30% off of the "Manufacturers recommended pricing". I call Bull____! All three of the items I wished to purchase were easily found online for up to 25% less than their supposed contractor discounted price I was given, which included free shipping and no tax. I will say that thanks to the salesman's manager, Jim S. I was able to cancel my order and get a complete refund before I was taken advantage of for hundreds of dollars. read more

No one checked it before my contractor picked it up. The right one was in stock back east but Central wouldn't authorize a shipment for 1 item alone due to the risk of breakage....really? 6 weeks after my order, I ended up buying it from Amazon. Shipped from back east and arrived in PERFECT condition. I'm waiting for my credit since they could not deliver.....let's see how long that takes. NOW I am still waiting for a bar faucet that is in stock on line by the way...the promised date keeps slipping. The catch is NCNR but they can't commit to a delivery date. I was not at all surprised by the level of customer service I received with this place, given their abysmal reviews. Folks working here seem to be utterly incapable of doing business with even the slightest modicum of either professionalism or, barring that, basic competence. Case in point, I worked with a fellow named Justin. He was more than happy to take my money, but getting him to return a phone call was like asking for a lung. More than once, he admittedly "dropped the ball" let things fall through the cracks. First time around, there was a 9-day lag until I reached out to him to see what the hold up was in getting pricing for my plumber. Second instance, they take my money and then sit on it for another 6-day delay without ever ordering product from the manufacturer. Had I not started asking questions and discovered what happened, they would still be sitting on my money. Icing on the cake, now they tell me the manufacturer claims out of stock, though it was in stock at the time I placed the order. To wit, I had even called Justin , several days into that 6-day delay, to ask if the product was ordered up and we were just awaiting freight or if there were any issues. He lied to my face, indicating that the order was in and they were just waiting for it to arrive! Apology from Justin when the truth came out? Not a chance. Phone call back from Justin at any point with an explanation at least? Not a chance. I had to escalate to the owner of the company in order to get a refund processed and get the real story about what was going on. The worst part is that the clowns at this Phoenix location continued to try and defend his complete and utter lack of customer service, even though the company owner had taken responsibility and issued both an apology and a refund. As I told them, when they tried to explain that "the problem is they ran out of stock after you ordered," the real problem is that they cannot communicate effectively and have zero integrity, which is why they lied to me about the status of the order, from the get-go. An honest explanation 6 days earlier would have avoided this whole mess. I have since sourced the products from another vendor, but I would have appreciated if I had been able to do that six days ago. What's worse, they later claimed that during this whole time, they were trying to source from another vendor but couldn't locate the product anywhere. It took me a whopping 30 seconds with Google to find someone else who had them in stock, same price, to the penny. It seems the only thing they are consistent about is their aversion to the truth and their penchant for blatant dishonesty. I will say that the company owner is a class act, and I appreciate him doing right by me, but this location and Justin in particular, are unreliable, untrustworthy and undeserving of your business. If you want endless delays, lies and excuses, not to mention a total lack of regard for your time, give them a shot. If you expect to be able to spend your money and receive any service at all, much less the product you ordered, look elsewhere. read more

Well I guess I'm right there with the others.... Went in to get fixtures for a new bathroom. The Salesman was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Half of the order was in stock at the warehouse, the other half was going to be ordered from the vendor. The first half was available for pick up at the end of the week as promised. The second half? Well time passed and no information. We called. The person that answered couldn't see the order because it wasn't hers. Had to prompt her to take a message. The call went unreturned. Called a second time, and a third. Sent an email. No response. I had to take time off work to drive 40 minutes each way to speak with the sales guy face to face. His answer? It should be in "soon". Had to prod him to get him get his lazy butt on the phone to figure out where our stuff was. Supposedly, it had been delivered to the warehouse 4 days earlier. I am also agreeing with many of the reviews. This place has an extremely cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. My husband and I went in with the intention of purchasing everything new for our bathroom. Not one person approached us and we walked around by ourselves and asked a few questions but the saleswoman was so cold and rude we ended up leaving after one walk around the store. I stopped in today looking for a part and was told the company didn't exist anymore and it was discontinued. Rose was working and went out of her way and spent so much time helping me find a solution. You can't find good customer service anywhere anymore and she went above and beyond for me and I really appreciated it. She found what I needed from some other company selling left over name brand parts and was happy to help. Products are top quality, but you need to consider whether it is worth doing business due to this company's terrible customer experience. While you are asked to agree to a no-returns/exchanges policy, they cannot estimate delivery time or stand behind condition of goods received. If I had known that my bathroom faucets would arrive weeks before the towel bars, I would have selected a different set. I was surprised to find that shipment did not exactly match what I had thought I was getting (faucets included plumbing base), so I paid for more than I needed. What is most frustrating is that representatives did not return my phone calls or answer questions unless you reach the initial salesperson. I left over six phone messages, and still waiting for a callback for status on the missing parts of my order. My conclusion: it is not worth doing business with AZ Central Supply. read more

This place has HORRIBLE customer service. I was asked to go there from my husband and I obviously had no clue what I was looking for. I rattled off the exact name of the product my husband gave me and both guys at the counter laughed in my face. These guys thought their sh!t didn't stink, as I walked in the didn't even greet me. They were in monkey suits with bow ties, clearly cared more about their looks than their attitude. After they were done laughing they didn't offer any help such as; "I'm sorry, I think you may have the name wrong- let me help you find what you are looking for", but instead he went in the back and as he came back out said everyone in the back was laughing. Customer service is the worst for any company I have every dealt with. Walk in, I asked the guy with the black beard and hair, about 30 years old, hey, how are you doing? He responded, not good but you don't care anyway. Oh, ok I responded hope your day gets better. He responded it won't, how can I help you? I should have walked out then. I was explaining the issue I was having with the parts I had with me and before I could finish, he took them out of my hand and after trying to tell him many times what the issue was, I finally just waited for him to finish. Finally, I took the parts back and said, let me explain, you are putting them together incorrectly and continued to explain the issue. He said, I am not going to agriculture with you but you are wrong. He asked another lady to look at it, short hair, perhaps the manager, she yells across the room, what is this part for? I said it from my shower. She replied in a very snotty voice, I am asking you what Parton the shower is this? Another customer turned to look at me in surprise and amazement that I would be yelled at in such a manner. I will never go back there again.
