A surprise on my last visit to Scottsdale, I stopped into this lovely and bright shop south of old town Scottsdale. They are chock full of amazing modern light fixtures that made me want to replace every fixture in my house. I got prompt professional assistance, even though I don't live in the area. It's incredibly refreshing to meet someone who is passionate about what they do. To say Chad is passionate about lighting is an understatement! We had a significant lighting challenge and I was referred to Chad by a close friend. We had moved into a new home and the great room had some tacky track lighting that needed to be replaced. There was minimal electricity run to the area and no attic space for any easy upgrade. We also needed to install a "signature" piece in the front room of the house. Chad came out for a consultation and his knowledge, enthusiasm, and creativity were apparent from the beginning. He offered many suggestions, not only for the lighting, but for interior design as well. He came up with an elegant and versatile low voltage cable system that was the perfect solution for the great room. It offers so much flexibility for now, and for any future reconfigurations. For the front room he chose a gorgeous "bubble ball" fixture that was just the perfect piece for the space and offered the signature look we wanted. He recommended a skilled electrician and kept in close contact through the entire installation process. His team is extremely professional and was there to help with any questions. A much belated review. I had an opportunity to use lightform's services this summer. I am a realtor and my seller had their lights installed throughout their home. One was not working correctly. I stopped into Lightform to look at fixtures for the bar in my kitchen. I was impressed with the wide selection of products available in the showroom as well as additional options in catalogs. It was undoubtedly the best collection of contemporary lighting in all price points that I have seen in the valley. Additionally and even more importantly, the customer service that I received from start to finish was exemplary. The lighting designer, Stephanie, was knowledgable, cordial and extremely helpful. I wandered into Lightform by chance while I was dropping off my sewing machine at The Bernina Connection next door. I am in the midst of a kitchen remodel and needed some above and below cabinet LEDs and a few other lighting odds and ends. Turns out I came to the right place. This store and the staff define what customer service and professionalism should be. Even though my job is tiny compared to some of the high end commercial and residential work Lightform does, they treated me like a million bucks. The lighting designer, Stephanie, went above and beyond what I would expect, drawing up basic plans for my contractor and following up with him to ensure he understood the installation of the various products I purchased...which ended up being more than I had planned because in addition to great customer service, Stephanie is a great, low key salesperson and she steered me to some amazing lighting products that are going to make my kitchen gorgeous and functional. Stephanie did tons of leg work to make sure that everything I ordered will work together. She is a stellar communicator and really goes the extra mile to deliver fine customer service. All of the staff, from the owner to the store mascot, Khan, are top shelf. What more can I say? Oh, yes! Their pricing! They have better prices than Lowes or the Internet and in the one instance where I found a more competitive price online, they gladly matched that price. This is the type of company I hope LOTS of people will patronize. The first time we went to Lightform lighting was almost 4 years ago. We were staying in Scottsdale and went there to see a light fixture for our Seattle condo. We had the great fortune of meeting Stephanie Fargher. She helped us with that fixture for a fraction of the price of it's very expensive look-a-like 'cousin' and has helped us several times in the past 4 years. Stephanie knows her lighting. Seems we are in the constant state of remodeling and I do not hesitate to call her when facing a challenge or getting the price on pieces I see. She ALWAYS gets the best prices, she is the very best at keeping you updated on your order, ie, shipping schedules, etc. DO NOT go anywhere else to buy your light fixtures, order from Stephanie @ Lightform Lighting. Shipping out of state is a breeze, in some cases you will have to pay shipping, but depending on the company may be shipped for free.
