This is for FLOOR AND DECOR BUSINESS ONLY NOT THIS STORE SPECIFICALLY I purchased Luxe Dune tile based partly on Floor & Decor's official online photos, which showed it as a light cream-beige. The actual tile is significantly darker and much more taupe. Because of that difference, the grout color I selected looked completely wrong once installed, and I now have to spend an additional $1,200 to have the grout professionally stained. I contacted Floor & Decor and provided comparison photos, receipts, and documentation. Instead of offering any meaningful resolution, they repeatedly focused on manufacturing tolerances, batch variation, and the fact that the tile was installed. My complaint was never that the tile was defective. It was that their own product photography did not reasonably represent the color of the product. They eventually acknowledged that they understood the issue was the online images, but still denied any assistance and said their decision was final. No reimbursement, store credit, or goodwill adjustment was offered. I understand that screens and lighting can affect color slightly, but this was not a subtle difference. Customers should not assume the product photos on their website are an accurate representation of the actual color. read more

I went on a quest for grout. Not gray. Not "warm gray." Not "storm cloud sadness." Terracotta. Arizona terracotta. Sun-baked, clay-blooded, not-trying-to-be-trendy terracotta. Started at the usual big hardware suspects. One suggested I dye grout. Sir/Ma'am, I am trying to do quick grout work, not enroll in a chemistry elective. I do not know what I'm doing and I'm okay with that. I just need the right color. No experiments. So I googled around, ended up here, and immediately realized something about myself: I am apparently sexist when it comes to home projects. I do not want to talk to someone like me who's going to brainstorm vibes with me. I need someone who will say, "Yes. That exists. It's over there." So I politely avoided the very nice ladies (nothing personal, love equality, love the progress of society) and hunted down the lone gentleman quietly existing in a corner of the store like a grout guru. Bless this man. He took me straight to the grout section. No judgment. No confusion. No, "Well, some people like gray." I saw the color chart and immediately knew: I found it.. Then... THEN.... I asked where the actual grout was. Not pre-mixed stuff I asked for. The real stuff. And there it was. Terracotta. In a bag. Waiting for me. I was ecstatic. Truly. Borderline emotional. I can finish my Arizona room. I can restore it to what it was meant to be. I just need a drill, a paddle, and confidence I absolutely do not possess, but that's a tomorrow problem. Pricing was totally reasonable for a small bag, the help was exactly what I needed, and no one made me feel dumb for refusing to accept boring colors in a desert state. Thank you, Grout Guy. The ordering process and employees were great! We ordered new wood floors for our home and I appreciated the guidance from staff. The issue I had was with the delivery company--they give a 30 minute notice before arrival, will only wait 10 minutes before leaving if you're unable to arrive by then, and will only drop the palettes off on your driveway. No assistance in moving indoors (as wood can't be left in the elements). Given how much was spent on the floors I found this shocking and wish there was more consideration into the final step of this process. read more

I love Floor & Decor, the products, the tile variety. This review is specific to the Phoenix Camelback store. Arlene was excellent and went out of her way to help locate misplaced marble tile. She was professional and knowledgeable, and I'm grateful for her help. The problem was management and follow through. I was told at checkout not to move my cart and that help would be sent to load the boxes of tile I purchased. As Edward completed a team meeting at the Pro Desk, I waited, employees and management just watched and I felt extremely uncomfortable. What makes this especially disappointing is that the cashier staff did everything correctly. They offered help, requested assistance over the radio, and set the expectation that support would be provided. Had someone simply communicated that no one was available, I would have handled the situation myself without wasting time or standing there waiting while being ignored. I am sharing this review because my experiences at other Floor & Decor locations have always involved a high level of professionalism and respect for customers' time. At this location, however, it was made very clear that unless you are extremely able bodied be prepared to do everything yourself, please don't expect support, even when it is offered. As both a licensed contractor and a woman, I found it unacceptable to be completely ignored by a room full of employees and management while struggling with heavy materials. I will be avoiding this location entirely moving forward and will instead continue to support other Floor & Decor stores that uphold the level of service the brand is known for. read more

I have made many purchases over the years at Floor & Decor at various locations but the Phoenix store is where I have been to the most so I will review this location. I have spent thousands & thousands of dollars here. Selection and Showroom Floor & Decor is known for its vast selection of flooring options at good prices, especially if you look for their "close-out deals". The stores offer a comprehensive range of products, including: Ceramic, porcelain, and mosaic tiles in various styles and sizes. Wood & Laminate: Hardwood, engineered wood, and bamboo flooring. (I have not purchased) Natural Stone: Marble, granite, travertine- (I have purchased). This extensive selection ensures that customers and decorators can find the perfect materials for any project, whether it's a small residential renovation or a large commercial installation, as I have met many contractors in the store. I have spoken to and met many customers in store who are always friendly. The large showroom space allows customers to see and feel the products in person, which is crucial for making informed decisions about flooring. The Phoenix showroom is particularly known for its size and the breadth of its displays. Positive Feedback: Professional Services: Decorators appreciate services such as design consultations, and project planning assistance. I worked with CAROL & CHRIS at this location who are both patient and excellent. Ask for them, you won't regret it. Educational Resources: I am told Workshops and training sessions help decorators stay updated on trends and installation techniques. I have not utilized the tools so unable to evaluate. Negative Feedback: Horrible at the time it takes with Returns: Customer Service however could be much improved as the return process is horrible having experienced it many times as I was uncertain of my purchase so I would take home items to review in my home & ultimately return what didn't work in my home. Some staff were a bit rude. In fact a long-time manager apologized to me for what occurred. Floor & Decor's return policy is cumbersome and difficult to navigate. Issues of lengthy processing times are aggravating and sometimes you feel like they are accusing you of not being truthful while they verify the return refusing to give store credit or making it difficult which doesn't leave a positive experience. However, on the positive I have never been charged restocking fees. Floor & Decor is a prominent specialty retailer in the hard surface flooring market; It has grown significantly, becoming a leading name in the industry. Went in bought all the flooring needed for a two story three bedroom home. I paid cash for the materials I bought it was about 3600. When I went to return the items not used the made me wait five days for my money on the return. The wouldn't do business with me if I asked them to wait 5 days for them to get their money so I will never do business with them again for being so cheap to not refund my cash purchase with cash. read more

Horrible. Store messed up original order. Got the wrong tile, and then the wrong price for the wrong tile. They actually shorted themselves $360 bucks. I had to spend an hour going thru everything to figure out their mess ups to do a refund. Then they OVERCHARGED me for the correct tile. When I texted them THEIR OWN ONLINE PRICE they refused to honor it. Manual, the supervisor said he'd review the situatio. He waited 30 minutes while my contractor sat it the parking lot to smugly inform me that in order to get the online price, I would have to pay shipping which would cost me more than just overpaying them. horrible manager and store. If you visit this store, I highly recommend you ask Josh. My husband and I, we do so many houses remodeling, before I used to go to Floor & Decor in Tempe but once they didn't have what I wanted so I went to the Phoenix store. Although I had researched the type of flooring I wanted, I was still undecided about the color and style. Luckily, Josh came up to me and asked if I needed help, he was incredibly welcoming and helpful in answering all of my questions with so many suggestions. He had so much enthusiasm to show me around with all the tiles and backsplash options. Josh even assisted me in placing an order for the tile, gathering the necessary materials, and arranging for pick up. Throughout the process, he reassured me that I get the best customer services and the option he suggested came out really nice. We needed tile, etc for our new walk in shower (remodel fr a tub /shower in our hall bathroom) F&D is huge - offering gorgeous tile choices, sample shower walls / kitchen backsplashes, etc. "Have no fear - Jeanane of C/S is here!" Jeanane is extremely helpful, knowledgeable & patient. Jeanane stayed by my side helping me choose shower wall tile, coordinating niche, floor, pencil tile & grout. I have never remodeled a bathroom or kitchen before. It is exciting but can be overwhelming. Jeanane eased my mind and I'm so grateful !! F&D has many beautiful choices, great prices & amazing C/S. One might think w these LOW prices that C/S would be just at the register - not at all. So first of all I've never bought tile before so let's start there. I went to floor and decor and asked for assistance with getting tile. Told them how many sq feet I needed and they told me three boxes. The gentleman helping me put them in my cart. once I got home and unloaded them it felt like one of boxes was lighter. Come to find out one of the boxes was missing 13 tiles. I went back the next day and was able to get the missing tiles with no issues. It was frustrating to have to go back but at least I got the tiles without out any difficulty. read more

I have shopped at Floor and Decor in Tempe during two separate home remodels. If it were not for the pricing of materials, I would have walked right out each time I've been in the store. The customer service is typically lacking significantly; no greetings upon entering, no offers to assist with shopping or selection, etc. Additionally, there was a young woman dressed in a green collared shirt (I assumed she was a manager,) who attempted to "subtly" follow my two young children and I around the store, without offering a greeting or assistance. I was not made to feel welcome in the store during my 30 minute shopping excursion. However, today I walked in and was immediately greeted by one individual, Jake. He directed me to the appropriate location I was searching for (LVP.) I later required assistance in the tile area and no store representative was anywhere in sight. I approached a group of sales individuals toward the front of the store, near check-out, and Jake eagerly assisted me in finding the right design solution for my shower tile. I am giving the store a three star review, but I give JAKE a five star review for going out of his way and assisting me with a positive attitude. I AM OBSESSED with our new laundry room makeover! Floor and Decor was my one stop shop for both the tile and the butcher block countertop! I went ahead in person to check out their inventory + pick out the tile and butcher block that I wanted. Then, when we were ready a week later, I placed the order online in the morning and picked up the goods 3 hours later! The team working was so friendly both times and I couldn't have had a better experience. I also went back to pick up some sealer and again, they had it at the pick-up counter waiting for me! They have an incredible selection of flooring, countertops, tile, etc. Just walking in here makes me want to renovate our entire home but hubby won't let me do that! ;) I would highly recommend them for any of your home improvement needs! When I tell you I'm a value conscious shopper tae that as gospel. I drive 45 minutes to get the good deals because I am not rich like Beyoncé Floor and decor exceeds my every expectation. I want choice and options and this store never fails to deliver. I want good pricing and they are always the best value. I expect mediocre service and they give EXEMPLARY service in all departments. And I turn around to see Britton. He says that flooring is discontinued but he thinks there is a pallet of it left. He disappears and then tells me it not only exists but is right here! Recently Liz at the Tucson store checked in with me several times to make sure I was on track with selections then helped me pick the schluter and grout. She arranged for the tile I wanted to be picked up in Phoenix. Yesterday, at the Phoenix store, I truly tested the employees with my requests and they got an A+. Every time I come in everyone is so helpful! Today was no exception. I finally found a tile that I was in love with after many many samples and trips to and from the store. I finally came in to purchase the tile I fell in love with. Turns out that the tile was being discontinued (which I didn't know). So then I was trying to figure out if I should buy extra and how to get it home. From the moment I stepped up to the crate Richard immediately came to help and answer questions. He looked up the stock at other stores, helped me figure out pricing. I asked to see if there was any way to get a deal on what was left (the tile was already at the top I wanted to spend). And with the help of Tim Woodward they were able to get a deal approved for me. Without the deal, I would have only left with the amount I needed for one bathroom, but now I'm excited that I can get all 3 showers done! I have been to other tile suppliers, but I really do feel like this Floor and Decor is the best! I will continue to get all my tile from them for the rest of my projects!
