In the last 24 months I've needed to hire a building contractor twice. This last time was…read moreespecially stressful because it came after a leak with mold remediation. After hiring a contractor for that (remediation) and having a third party independent testing company test, to be sure the mold was gone, I was ready to rebuild. I interviewed 3 contractors, (one recommended by the remediation company and 2 others I found on my own). To be honest this whole process is not fun, in short, it's homeowners hell. Quentin and Urban Elements stood out above the other 2 contractors for the following reasons: Quick and professional response. He answered all my questions, when I asked about something he had missed (my wall was down to the wall studs and covered in plastic so it was hard to see), he took another look and had an answer within 24 hours. One of the contractors I did NOT hire didn't even know his ROC#, and took days just to let me know his company's license number. In addition the communication was great and Quentin was always available by text and responded quickly. When I did sign with Urban Elements the contract was clear: timeline, payment schedule and completion. They adhered to everything in writing. (Contrast that to a contractor who wanted me to agree to abide by the laws of Texas, when I live in Arizona.) Additionally Quentin assured me that every subcontractor who worked on my house would be licensed. There were several subcontractors and everyone who came, was a true pro, they showed up on time, were respectful and did a great job. I honestly hope I never have to rebuild a room again but Quentin made a truly stressful experience 100% better and I feel fortunate to have found him. Lastly his bids were competitive with the other 2 bids I received.

If you are reading my review you have found your next contractor!…read more My family and I were dealing with the stress of moving from California to Arizona and we were scrambling to find a contractor to remodel the new home in under 5 weeks. What i found during this process was price gauging from so many other contractors until i found Quentin from Urban Element. Quentin gave me confidence that he could do the job in under 5 weeks and on budget. Quentin communicated with me weekly and gave me progress reports/photos and never once asked for more money then what we had originally agreed on. The finish product far exceeded what I could imagine. Quentin and his crew takes pride in their craftsmanship. I would 100% recommend Quentin to anyone looking for a home remodel. Quentin if you are reading this, you still owe me a proposal to build out my home office ;-)

We've worked with American Brand Home Improvement on two projects and have had a great experience…read moreboth times. George, the owner, has been excellent to work with from start to finish. Our first project involved creating additional storage and finishing work in two of our bedrooms. More recently, they completed a tub-to-shower conversion for us. Throughout both projects, George communicated consistently and kept us informed about timing and progress. The quality of the work has been excellent, and everyone who worked in our home was respectful, friendly, and professional. We also appreciated George's patience and flexibility when we experienced a delay with some equipment we had chosen to purchase ourselves. He worked with us rather than making the situation more stressful, which says a lot about how he treats his customers. The pricing has been fair, the work has been dependable, and most importantly, we feel we can trust George and his team. We highly recommend American Brand Home Improvement to anyone looking for a reliable contractor for a home improvement project.

I highly recommend this business!

I don't usually write reviews this long, but Andrew with Green Home deserves it…read more He completely gutted and rebuilt my master bathroom, and the result is beautiful. This was my first remodel, so I did a lot of research and got multiple bids. Andrew's pricing was lower than others, but his work looked almost too perfect, which honestly made me skeptical at first. I reached out to one of his past reviewers before hiring him, just to confirm they had a good experience and they had nothing but great things to say. Now I understand why. Andrew handled demo, moved the shower to a different wall, installed all new tile, plumbing, lighting, and built the entire shower from scratch. He also has a strong eye for design and helped guide decisions in a way that felt collaborative, not pushy. He showed up exactly when he said he would every single day and worked full 8-10 hour days until everything was complete. His communication stayed clear, consistent, and reliable. He kept the job site clean, contained the dust to one area, and was extremely respectful of my home. I took notice that he was the only contractor who took his shoes off at the door when walking thru to bid. That said a lot to me about him. He continued to do things that showed his good nature and great character. Another thing I really appreciated was I felt that he genuinely looked out for me. A designer I had hired was pushing me toward options that were well over my budget, and Andrew encouraged me to take a step back and think it through. He even suggested better alternatives, which I ended up using. That kind of honesty is rare. He also recommended great companies for other parts of the project, including AQ Glass Arizona Shower Doors and Aaron Dominguez Granite, both of which did excellent work. He stayed on budget, did everything right the first time, and was incredibly patient with me throughout the process. I've already hired him again for my kitchen and guest bathroom, and he's even come back for a few smaller requests without hesitation. The only "negative" is that he's booked pretty far out, but that's really not a negative. It just means he's in demand. He is absolutely worth the wait. I feel very lucky to have found him and would recommend him without hesitation.

They were the first contractor to respond to our request for a quote and the only one who took the time to walk us through it in person. Julio and Yvan helped us think through the remodel, offering practical ideas and guidance on how to get the biggest quality of life improvements within our budget. We always felt like we had experienced people helping us make smart decisions rather than simply executing a list of requests. Once construction began, Julio's team did a fantastic job bringing everything together. The quality of the work and attention to detail were excellent, and the finished project turned out exactly as we had hoped. On the few occasions when something needed to be adjusted, they were extremely responsive and made sure it was completed to our satisfaction. The crew was also consistently punctual, professional, and respectful of our home (including being very accommodating of our requests regarding our pets). Another thing we really appreciated was the flexibility Clean Corners gives you when selecting materials. They provide a list of preferred suppliers, but you are free to source materials wherever you like. That allowed us to splurge on the finishes that mattered most to us while finding savings in other areas. For someone who has a clear vision of what they want but needs a team to help make it happen, that flexibility is a huge advantage. If you're looking for a contractor who is responsive, collaborative, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in bringing your vision to life, I highly recommend Clean Corners Construction. We couldn't be happier with how our remodel turned out.

Writing this review for Alex and John Halliday at Liberty Remodeling. They recently painted our…read morehouse. It was a non-trivially complicated project: a 2-story 4000 sq ft house with a large attached pergola, stucco repair, stuccoed perimeter wall and a very picky HOA. Alex and John navigated the whole project very professionally from start to finish. They had already painted one house in the neighborhood and did a great job there. I called several of their reference and they got great reviews from the references they gave. I was impressed with their integrity both in terms of their approach to quality work, how they handled pricing (they are dong several houses within the neighborhood) and how they managed to stay fair with everyone while still accommodating people's specific requests. They communicate well and are responsive. They got to the job quickly and finished it quickly, there was no dragging out of the project any more than was required (they actually did a great job of working around the inclement weather that showed up in the middle of the job). My only knock would be that sometimes the workers didn't quite get all of the instructions passed to the owners, but that actually brings me to the best part. And i ahve to say here that I have used many contractors before, and on this item they are the best I've ever experienced. When they are done and ask you to review and provide a correction/punch list, I've never seen a contractor approach it as positively and effectively as they did. There was never one moment of push back or debate.. they just went through and addressed every single thing on the list, and they did it right on the spot. They stayed at it until we were satisfied, and although we are not unreasonable, we are not the easiest customer to please. I will say if you're looking for the lowest price and don't care about anything else, they may not be the best fit for you, and I think they'd probably agree. However, if you are looking for a high-quality job that is done right, to your satisfaction at a reasonable, fair price, I'd highly recommend them as I found their work to be an excellent value. (I'm actually having them paint our rental house next) TIP: If you check them out you'll find that their current ROC licence is relatively new, do not take that as a negative. Ask either John or Alex about that and they will happily tell you the background here. It checked out and it's actually a positive, but too long of a story to include in this review.

I had a 41 year-old wooden deck (pic attached) that was decayed and falling apart to the extent…read morethat you could no longer walk on it. I had dreaded getting the deck replaced because I just didn't want to deal with going thru the work and aggravation. I called a few construction contractors and while 2 never responded, others just gave me a quote to remove the old deck, but never took the time to actually talk or listen to me. Then Alex Halliday, owner of Liberty Remodeling LLC. actually called me after receiving the pic thru Yelp, and set up a time to visit and see all that needed to be done and also what I wanted to do. Alex came when scheduled and listened to what I wanted to do (remove old deck & replace with two covered patios on each side of the existing patio). He was great at making suggestions and asking questions, and showing me pictures to be sure of want I wanted done. His estimates were given and were exactly what was charged. He never changed the amounts and he wrote up detailed contracts for the work. It was 2 1/2 weeks to build the two new patios, lay down the pavers, and I ended up painting the entire house, instead of just the new covered patios (pics attached ). The work was so great, it looks like the patios were part of the original house and not additions. I can't say enough good things about Alex, John (his brother), and the construction crew (Julian and Amador), the pavers, and the painters. Alex did all the scheduling for each crew to come in once each part was completed. He updated me daily on when each crew would be at my house, and at what time. Alex was there as each crew arrived to go over exactly what was going to be done. He or John were there to make sure everything was done as agreed. Then at the end, a final inspection was done with plenty of attention on every detail. My home looks beautiful and the job was completed with no stress. Alex and John Halliday are truly great people to work with, I wouldn't call anyone else!
