The second I walked in the store there was someone asking if they could help me. (Don't get that at Home Depot) Walked me to the lighting dept. and showed me the item I had researched on line. (Don't get that a Lowes) Found the spray paint display and they had an amazing assortment or Rust-Oleum paint with the custom 5 - 1 spray head. Very happy with my purchase, and it's very comforting to know that they carry replacement parts for the lawnmower I purchased, at what appears to be a reasonable price. It was my first time visiting an Ace Hardware store, and the experience was very warm and customer service oriented. The minute I entered the store I was welcomed, and offered assistance with my shopping needs. Went to my local Ace to replace the arm and shower head, the shelves were bare. They had 1 shower head and 1 style of a arm to chose from. My ace in Tustin always had stuff falling from the shelves and nice people to help. So, Very disappointed. That's too bad. Guess I'm off to Lowe's or Home Depot. read more

They have a greater selection of items such as Traeger products, rubs, Meat Church, Blue Hog: shit, all BBQ products. Easy to get in and get out, something I really appreciate. Most important, customer service is above and beyond that of any in this business. I visit the Wildomar Ace Hardware for my new passion of BBQ. As mentioned they have all products that are the rave in the world of barbeque. Prices are very competitive and if you participate in their loyality program you get discount codes or money off most products - not Traeger or Meat Church products though. Can't hold that against them, we learned some products won't allow them to discount so we feel their selection which is extensive is worth the sacrifice of a discount. To us, Ace is the place. I am a woman living alone with five kids and a plumber wasn't in my budget but my sink drain pipes didn't care. They were leaking everywhere and when I touched them they just fell right off. I tried to screw them back on, but then I realized they were secured with plumbers putty. I went to a big box store to try to replace the pipes and when I got home and tried to screw them in, they still wouldn't thread to my sink. I watched a few YouTube videos and saw the exact part I needed. I headed over to Ace to look for it and even asked an employee and to my disappointment the part was not a part available. I was ready to walk out then a golden ray of sunshine appeared in the aisle in the form of a very helpful ginger haired young man named Sean. I told Sean my plight was hopeless and he insisted that we solve my problem. He patiently waited while I described to the best of my unhandy ability how my pipes were configured and then showed me an option he thought would work. I tried to grab the part and hurry home but he insisted that I try to make sure it was right by getting the size of my existing pipes. He waited patiently while I called home to have my teenage son check. Sure enough Sean was right, I needed a bigger piece. He painstakingly dug around some more until he got me the right piece and gave me a thorough lesson about how to attach it. I got the piece home and it worked perfectly, seriously it would take a sledge hammer to get those pipes to knock off. Whoever thinks angels don't exist on earth, you're wrong. I needed a stem seat replacement for my shower and the staff at this store are so helpful. First the blonde lady at the Help hub didn't quite get her name was assisting me and made me feel confident that it's an easy project and that she does it all the time at home. She then called the expert Norm who made sure that I get the right parts. He explained a step by step process and recommended the tool that I needed in completing my project. I got everything we need and we're greeted with a smile by Liza the cashier who's very friendly. Over the last 2 months I've been going in to purchase a very specific nut and bolt setup that I have only been able to find there. Unfortunately, every time I go in they aren't just out of stock, they haven't even restocked. A month ago I talked to the manager who told me he would get ahold of the guy that is contracted to do nuts and bolts and see what's going on and that he would contact me when they came in. 2 weeks went by and I wentback in. He informed me they were on a pallet in the back and when they stocked shelves he'd call me. 2 more weeks have since passed and nothing. This guy has literally lied to my face. Literally everyone else in that store is awesome and I won't stop going in there but thIs store is poorly managed. read more

We purchased a Large Big Green Egg grill through another local vendor in 2015; they are out of business now. Ace did not carry BGE products then. BGE grills have a lifetime warranty. We reached out to Ace Wildomar a super glad I did. Ace Superstar Tanya C. had never heard of assisting a BGE owner with warranty support--she is Ace's BGE ace now! I went in on Sunday 11/28 to Home Depot and Lowes to have a key made. They said they did not have the key so I went to ace hardware to see if they could make the key for me. They also did not have the Key, but they took the time to cross ref to see if they could use a different key which they did and I got my key made. Ace hardware is nothing like Home Depot and Lowes they are so much better. They don't hide like the other stores. Thank you Ace Hardware you have a customer for life! read more

Went to this store today. An older gentleman proceeded to climb a ladder to take out a surplus of yeti products from a box.. all the while yelling to a female coworker who was manning the register, saying something to the affect of this would have been done right the first time it wouldn't be double work.. I was literally 3 feet behind him looking at the green eggs , I moved slightly to the right and he tossed an empty box near me without any safety concerns. Not once did he stop to ask the if we needed help finding anything. He was more concerned that everyone heard him ranting. Worst service ever 6/4/16 10:30 . Went in to get some spray paint and ended up with nothing. The store was not busy, one lady at the counter helping customers and a gentlemen standing next to her. I approached the gentlemen for assistance to buy some spray paint. He walked away as he was staring at this nice looking lady that walked in and asked her if she needs help. She said no. I stepped up and said I would like to buy some paint. He then told me he will get some one and walks away following the lady. After 4 min another person came to help. We asked for spray paint and he said I get with you in a moment and then asked the people behind us for their needs....that is so wrong. As i was leaving I went to the first gentlemen and asked why don't we get service. He just looked at us without saying anything. I rather go elsewhere than this place. I went to Home Depot twice this morning to get fittings for my waterfall pump. The first time I had to wait for 10 minutes to get help with no satisfaction for what I needed. I went back again and a different gentleman tried to help again, problem not solved. My third trip was to Ace Hardware in Wildomar. I was approached by Tanya immediately. Tanya understood exactly how to get the parts I needed to solve My waterfalls issue. I told Tanya if she could solve my waterfalls issue I would stop shopping at Home Depot and make Ace Hardware the main place for my project needs. An older balding Staff was immediately rude when asked if they had a trash can, also there was a woman that was have trouble in the door lock department cuz of an odd door, I extended my services and the second I said I could I could help the staff disappeared. The manager straight up lied to to my face, there was special item that was but online and in store pickup, when ask the manager said "no we don't that", were I read him the the Ace Hardware policy, and asked if he just lied or was to f***n lazy to do his job. The whole staff at Wildomar is totally professional and all are very helpful in whatever your needs are. Rod wrote up our screen Repair estimate and he also did a excellent job in replacing the screens with new ones. It only took 2-days. Ace has the best prices on screen replacement anywhere. I took 3 screens for in for repair. 1st one was a sliding door screen xl in size and 2 other screens. Total cost $80 + tax. Great price no one can match. Thanks Rod & Ace hardware of Wildomar.
