Oh my goodness, what a lovely place! I showed up today to pick up materials for my husband. The young man running the counter was so nice and patient, he could tell I was out of place. He was very kind and took my husband's order over the phone to ensure it was correct and then told me they would cut the metal and load it for me. The boys in the yard were also very polite and careful when loading it in my car and making sure the edges were covered so as not to cause damage. As a woman, it's not always delightful going into places for your husband but their customer service is top notch! A great business to support! read more

Very rude sales attendant. I had a small project and needed some metal tubing, so went to this place as they said they are open to the public. After showing a picture of the tubing in their sample section. The girl stated "we only sell 17 feet, it's says it right there!" I politely said their add on the internet didn't specify this. Then the lady said "what do you want me to do about it"! I walked away and went to another hardware store. Lesson learned. They only sell bulk metals. Very poor customer service. read more

The best thing about this place is they have a great combination of industrial supply and retail customer service. So they will cut things for you and not give you a bad attitude about it. The prices are I would say more than reasonable, possibly I would even call the prices cheap. The staff here is great, metal suppliers are notorious for being understaffed and unhelpful. These guys meet me at the door asked me what I need, took me over to the material. Once I confirmed that's what I needed he wrote down the quantity and set me to the cashier while he pulled it. They also cut material there which is really helpful. By the time I paid they had my material pulled, cut and loaded in my truck. I haven't compared prices side by side by it seemed to be in the ballpark. read more

We had them come to our home to mount a metal gate. The guys were very nice and polite but the attention to detail lacked. We just had this concrete poured two weeks ago and they left a complete mess, did not use any drop cloths for the workspace and ended up chipping our new concrete. We had to come out and sweep up their piles of metal, dirt and rust. Will need to also get concrete cleaner and try and get the stains of the rusted metal out. They also butchered our stucco in the process of trying to mount the gate. I understand things happen but a heads up would have been nice to let us know the possibilities of all the damages. Will probably not use them again unless we have work that needs to be done onsite at their shop read more

I usually like this place, but today I went in and ordered 3x2x3/16 angle iron. I went to the register and ordered it. Since I had a face mask, the cashier had a face mask and the plexiglass between us it was really hard to hear. I kept having to ask the cashier to repeat herself because it was so hard to hear. The guys filling the order were busy helping two other customers so I waited patiently. After about 20 minutes later the guy called out my name and began loading 3x2 square tubing into my truck. I told him that's not what I ordered, I ordered angel iron. He went to the cashier and told her, she went to the manager and told him. The manager came over and said, "Sorry we already cut it". I understand mistakes can be made but that wasn't MY fault. The cashier screwed up. But then instead of giving me a discount on the right order he charged me full price for that. WTF!!!!! If you guys screw up at least have the balls to give the customer a break. So I paid an extra $100 for Their mistake!!! Horrible customer service!!!!!!!! Edit my review: Again perfect example of the customer service. The response is to blame the customer. I was not rude in any way before you charged me full price on the mistake made by your cashier. I understand mistake can be made, but charging full price again on the second order is ridiculous. If I could change my review to -5 stars I would after that response!! read more

When I arrived there was plenty of parking. An employee was there to ask how he could help me before I even stepped inside. Derek was terrific. He listened closely as I explained what I needed, then did everything he could to make sure my ordered was filled quickly and accurately. If I could give them 6 stars I would- In need of steel and not familiar with the area I googled "steel supply temecula". Tusker was the 1st business that popped up. I called them at 4:50 on a 95° afternoon not really expecting that anyone would still be there to answer, let alone have what I needed same day. The nicest lady ever (Margarita) answered my call and said no problem to all of my requests... The kicker- I couldn't make it there by the time they closed so she filled my order, cut everything exactly as I asked and left it outside their door for me to pick up after hours. I have bought AR500 steel and 1/2" steel plate and their prices are very competitive with other local shops and their staff is Amazing. Only thing preventing 5 stars is i am a Amazon Prime member and can get free shipping on target steel and still pay less. Needed to replace a metal gate on the side of my house. Stopped in at Tusker Metals. I really didn't know what we needed, however, Peter was extremely helpful and helped us figure out what would work best. Quoted us a competitive price and offered to remove the existing rusted out gate. Originally quoted 3-4 weeks. Received a call after about a week stating the gate was ready and could they come out and install it. Nick came out that day and installed the gate. Very positive experience with Tusker Metals.
