After buying an old 24ft flatbed trailer, we decided to "freshen it up" by changing out all the deck boards. As soon as we started removing the old boards we began to find cracked welds in the trailer frame and cross members. By the time we were done removing all the old decking we had found over 40 cracked welds (the trailer was literally about ready to fall apart). Although I can weld a little, I wanted the job to be done right so we began looking for a good local welder that would be reliable (and inexpensive ;) After looking at NextDoor and reading a bunch of reviews, we discovered Jonathan (apparently the J in JS Fabrication). This guy is awesome! He was able to fit us into his schedule within a few days and showed up at our house with several different welding machines and a truck with all the tools and gear he needed. He made about 70 beautiful welds (I had already done the prep) in less than 3 hours ... and even gave me and my son some brief welding lessons :) Jonathan remained professional, focused and worked efficiently for the entire morning, and I couldn't be happier with the work he did. I am glad I followed the reviews because he did not disappoint and did an amazing job at a fair price. I was very impressed with the great communication and a consistent follow up. We set a date and he was there on time and brought all the equipment he needed. He was very professional and his work was top notch. I will definitely keep his contact for future work. A little more about my project: I had a heavy custom gate built and over the years it was harder to lock and secure because of sagging. First of all I shouldn't have waited so long to write this review. Jonathon has awesome costumer service and was quick to respond to my inquiry, so I should have been just as quick to post a review. I needed someone to repair the electric gate at my home so my kids had a safe place to play in our back yard and my wife could easily park without dealing with manually opening this beast. Needed a quick repair on an exhaust pipe for an off-road vehicle. Called and emailed photos for a quote and JS was able to work me in right away.
