John came to my house and a couple of days later gave me a quote for a snake fence (attached to my existing fence) based on the length of fence that I gave him. After the job was completed John revised the quote for less than the quote because my fence wasn't as long as I thought. His crew buried 6 - 8 inches of fence and attached the rest to the existing fence with metal ties. It was a tough project because my property has hard ground with rocks on a pretty steep hill. They did a great job and I'm confident that it will last because John installed a section of snake fence for the previous owner and it still looks great. read more

The rainstorm back in Feb blew half of my fence off the ground and leaned almost 35 to 40 degrees to one side. I called a few fence contractors, and John was the only one who came over in person and gave me a written estimate which I told all the contractors that I needed to work with my neighbor, and John was the only one who provided it. Overall, the price was fair and reasonable, pretty much what everyone else is charging. John also explained the problem and the solution thoroughly, so I could make an educated informed decision. Jon and his team did a great job on my custom metal coyote deterring fence with snake fencing on the bottom 3 feet. Now my dogs can safely roam the back yard without worry about them becoming coyote chow or tangling with a rattlesnake here in Fallbrook. And, it all looks really great so it actually adds to my home instead of something like chainlink that would take away from the aesthetics. The team worked really hard and were fast and efficient. I had previously worked with 2 gate "masters" to repair the entry gate to my courtyard and had seriously disastrous results (with one contractor becoming confrontational). I wanted to give Chris Keys and his company 323 Metal Works / American Fence Co. a shout out and strong recommendation. I needed an angled metal picket fence panel to fit a 15° slope to finish my dog run fence project. I searched for a pre-fab solution on Google and quickly realized none existed, so my only option was to get it custom made. I called several fencing fabricators in the area and either never received a call back or was told the job was too small. When I called Chris, he took my call right away, said he would be happy to help, came out to take measurements within a couple days and offered a fair price to make the panel. I opted to paint it myself as the additional cost to powder coat it was expensive. Within a week, Chris's guys delivered the panel and offered to (and did) install it for me at no extra charge. Definitely 'old school' service that is hard to find anymore!!! His guys also happened to have a beautiful custom gate in the back of their truck that they were heading into RSF to install, so I can attest that they not only do high quality fence fabrication but also dynamic custom gates. I will certainly use Chris and his company again for additional work. I highly recommend them! read more

We contacted john and told him we wanted to put up a new fence and add a rattlesnake fence to keep our dog safer. Within 24 hours Jon came out, provided a reasonable detailed estimate and showed us a way to save our existing fence by reinforcing the wood posts with metal post anchored in cement and he would replace any rotted wood as well as build a new gate. The following week Jon's friendly crew came out, off loaded materials and got started. They really knew what they were doing. They worked quickly and left the yard clean each day.
