Hire Ryan. I needed a job done and pushed out the usual Yelp project to get quotes, and right from the start Ryan stood out. Super fast communication, great price, scheduled me and came to the site on time and did an incredible job in a tricky area fitting a gate. Nicest guy too. Really really nice work. I'll hire him for any fence work in the future , easy 5 stars. Highly recommend, so hard to find people who can communicate and keep a scheduled time slot and then do great work as well. read more

Ryan did a great job installing a new wood fence gate and fence extension at our home, and got the job done on 2 of the hottest days of the summer. Both the gate and fence look amazing and show Ryan's precision and attention to detail. The price also was very reasonable. Precise, punctual and exactly what I asked for! Ryan came out and quoted a fence with a gate that I needed for my pool yard. Precision Fence - Fences & Gates Near Me - Escondido, California

We recently contacted several fence companies to repair our chain link fence. Some never called back, a few said the job was too small, one would only give an estimate from photos, another stood us up. Ryan, from Precision Fence was the only one who responded to our call, came out the next day to give us an estimate, and seemed interested in helping us. Ryan waited patiently while we attempted to get other estimates. We finally decided to work with Ryan based on his professionalism and experience. The job was finished today and we couldn't be happier. read more

Highly recommend, Ryan replaced my front gate and several neighbors have since hired him for some gate replacement. The gate is a custom size and the gates available at Home Depot do not fit. Ryan sent over some material options and was very upfront about pricing. He scheduled me as quickly as possible and the gate looks perfect. Also, feeling old because I'm excited about a gate. read more

Ryan did a great job on our (3) fences + gates. He was very reliable and communicated what was next. Highly recommend!!! We have (2) side neighbor fence + gates and a back fence to do after years of neglect. Our house is in an HOA in Escondido. Ryan met to discuss what I wanted and delivered quotes. Given the supply shortage for cedar planks, the start date was later than I'd like but that happens. Not his fault. The job was completed to satisfaction of all neighbors. Book now before the rest of my neighbors call to do the whole HOA! read more

COMPANY DOESN'T GET BACK to the customer. I called 3 times, left 3 messages, sent a message through yelp (since that seems to be the way the owner responds given other reviews) & still no response. This is horrible and other potential customers deserve to know this! read more

Ryan was great to work with! He was the only person to show up at our property and create a plan for the work out of a handful of other companies we reached out to. He provided us good suggestions along the way, and we're super pleased with how the fence turned out! read more

Precision Fence - Here is after replacement of the fence. (Kept a small section that is in a good shape) - Fences & Gates Near Me - Escondido, California

Precision Fence installed around 250 feet of chain link fence and several gates on our property in Escondido. Ryan responded quickly to my request for a quote on Yelp and came out right away to measure and provide and estimate. His estimate was very fair and I was impressed with how well he listened to all of my requests. He installed the whole fence over the course of a few days in the heat of late summer and we are so pleased with his work. He did exactly what I asked and seamlessly integrated our new fence in with the existing fence and went above and beyond in making sure the fence would fit our needs. It looks fantastic and our dogs love being able to run free in the fenced yard now. Ryan is truly a master at his craft and I would highly recommend him! read more

After contacting three other companies to provide an estimate on installing a chain link fence, the decision to go with Ryan and Precision Fence was an easy one. Ryan was responsive and the process of scheduling him to come over to provide an estimate was painless, unlike the others I contacted. Ryan is knowledgeable, informative and his work is very professional. Thank you Ryan for alleviating the frustration that comes with home projects like this and thank you for doing such a great job! Responded quickly and came over as scheduled to measure our yard for an estimate. Never heard back or received an estimate. I was under a time restraint for the project and decided not to try and chase after someone to give them business. I went with another fence installer. read more

Awesome product and great with email communication. We really appreciate all of the hard work that went into building our fence!

Precision Fence did an awesome job installing a new wooden gate to replace a chain link one we had at our house in San Diego. Their pricing is super reasonable and the best we could find for a licensed contractor. They finished the job faster than we could have hoped, squeezing the job into a tight timetable we had before leaving on vacation. They also went above and beyond, attaching our existing fence to the new posts they installed for the new fence so our dogs would be able to use our yard during the process, without even being asked. Thank you guys so much, the end product is perfect! read more

Just had 40 ft of pine fence installed by Precision Fence. I initially requested the quote on Yelp. Ryan was quick to respond, and flexible with setting up the appointment to meet my schedule. He showed up on time and followed up with the written estimate within a day. The quote was very reasonable and beat all of the others I received. Ryan again worked around my schedule when it came to the install. He said it would be completed in two days, and it was. Overall it was a great experience. I will definitely use Precision Fence for future needs. I'm not going to post a picture, because it's just a wooden fence, but it's exactly what I wanted. read more

Ryan completed a chain-link fence install on a portion of my exterior property fencing and also installed new barbed wire and repaired several old sections. He was extremely quick to respond to my emails/calls, provided a fast quote and completed the job within two weeks of my initial email. They came out pretty late on a weeknight to give a quote. They provided a fair quote to put in a gate and fence. Ryan completed the job in a couple of days and the the new fence looks very nice. He even came back a few days later to check on the fence and make sure that the clean up was done properly. I would definitely recommend his work. read more

I was very happy to try and have a local business come and bid on doing our fences (and our neighbor wanted to use whomever we chose). I had arranged to meet at our home at 3:30 pm on Sunday 4/22. We had a death in the family so we were at home all day and my husband was waiting. We had some trouble with our internet so I was on the phone with AT&T so that I could continue to try to continue reaching family via email etc. At about 4 pm I got a call on my cell phone but no VM was left. I wrote the number down and had my husband call back. It was Precision Fence and he got VM and left a message to call him back. I called back twice more and left voicemails asking for a call back. As I said, I was on the line and working on my computer with AT&T. After the call I got on my computer and there was a message in my email that Ryan had tried to call and got VM. Then another saying tried to come don't have the address. I answered the email that I and said he had not even left a VM and we tried to call back 3 times. He wrote me back "Sorry i'm short on time today i tried earlier." I responded that apparently (because we called back 3 times) that he did not want the jobs that were here. It isn't like he wasn't in the same city as I am. I got back three more not very nice emails and the last one said "it is Sunday." I really wish that this would have worked out but we are both very glad that true colors were shown before we hired someone to do the work that clearly is not the kind of person we care to work with. He did not exhibit any follow through and basically stood us up. He easily could have left a VM or answered one of our return calls. It is pretty clear that he never intended to come in the first place. Further to this I just received an email stating the following email: "Hi I am sorry but I clearly wrote to you that on Sunday after 3:30 I would call. I called at 3:57 after I had finished with the previous estimate which took longer than expected. That is the reason why I wrote "after" 3:30; because sometimes the people I meet like to talk and I don't want to be rude. When I did call you at 3:57 it rang several times and then went to voicemail. Instead of leaving a voicemail I checked the yelp app on my phone and messaged you there. I also checked the messages to see if you had given me your address; there was none. At that time I was driving from the previous estimate and someone from a different number (that wasn't the one I called) was trying to contact me. I am unable to take calls while driving. It turns out that it was your husband calling. I discovered this later after I reached my destination and was able to check voicemails; but by this time it was already getting too late and it was Sunday and I have family and a daughter to spend time with. I don't normally work on Sundays and made an attempt to fit you in "after 3:30" but unfortunately due to the circumstances I just clearly spent my time writing it just didn't happen. To top it all off you sent me message "warning me" that you were going to leave me bad feedback. That message felt very threatening and didn't bring any joy to my already busy Sunday. I am glad we didn't meet because you are definitely someone I do not want to please in any way shape or form." I tried to respond with this but the owner has blocked my response which would have read: I meant no threat whatsoever. If you took it that way - unintended. All I said was that appropriate feedback would be posted. I believe that I have done that without any embellishment or talking badly about you. Unfortunately, you would have found us to be the most accommodating of customers. You can imagine our frustration dealing with death in the family, trying to contact and not getting any VM responses. Sorry it didn't work out. I wish you no ill will and all the best. Glad we dodged this bullet. Be very careful in dealing with this company. read more

Ryan is a master at his craft. He made extensive effort to make sure the job was done correctly the first time, and it shows. Top quality materials, perfectly straight installation, and fantastic communication were what I received. Our fence involved 2 different materials and a fairly challenging slope, Ryan absolutely nailed it - and at a lower price than any other local company quoted me. I normally don't review, but the work here warrants it. Thank you, Ryan! read more

Precision Fence did a superb job installing wood fencing, metal fencing and a custom entry gate at my home. Ryan and his wife were prompt, courteous and professional for the initial estimate. The work was done in the time estimated. Ryan was great about being aware of my 2 dogs security in the back yard during the project. Ryan is easy to talk to and will incorporate your needs and special requests resulting in a fence of high quality with attention to detail. I did not get estimates from other companies but I gladly paid the quoted price. If you want a solid fence or gate done right, give Precision Fence a call for sure! read more

5 stars for exceptional customer service! I reached out to dozens of fence contractors and Precision Fence responded quickly (while most of the others never responded). Received a fair bid from their company, came out on schedule and did great work! Would not hesitate using them again for work needed.

We are so happy with the job Ryan just completed for us. We had to replace the wrought iron fence in the backyard backing up to the golf course since the old one was rotting out. Ryan measured & carefully made sure that the fence & it's gate were installed exactly right, which required some engineering on his part. It all came out perfectly. We also replaced the side wooden gate with a vinyl one. Wow, the vinyl gate is a beauty! (See pic). He clarified with us every detail along the way to make sure he tailored it to our preferences. Love that! He was so patient & respectful as we went through the decision-making process, which was also appreciated. Ryan works hard & efficiently, & cleaned up & hauled away everything when he was done. As a bonus, he is also very personable & easy to work with. We highly recommend Precision Fence, & will call him for our fencing needs in the future. Thank you, Ryan! read more

We contacted Ryan because we needed a chain link fence around the flat part of our acre yard, to accommodate our disabled dog. Ryan responded promptly, came out to give us an estimate, and provided us with plot maps of our yard with several detailed versions of how we could fence, with prices for each. He started the job when promised, stayed with it until completion, and did great work. He was even able to create wooden barriers behind a rock spa, and between a patio and drainage ditch, that prevented our three-legged dog from getting his one front leg stuck in between any gaps or uneven rocks. Ryan was extremely pleasant to work with, and he took great care to move around temporary fencing sections, and keep gates closed, in order to prevent our dogs from escaping. We had a steep stairway next to the flat area, and he built a railing there for us. We would highly recommend Precision Fence! read more

I can't say this is the best quality fence I've ever owned, but then again, I didn't pay a fortune for it either...think Home Depot "quality" cedar slats stapled into redwood posts. It does the job, just not a great job, Way better than the falling down mess I had before though, These guys showed up when they said they would, worked their tails off, and got it done. Would hire them again. read more
