I was very happy to try and have a local business come and bid on doing our fences (and our neighbor wanted to use whomever we chose). I had arranged to meet at our home at 3:30 pm on Sunday 4/22. We had a death in the family so we were at home all day and my husband was waiting. We had some trouble with our internet so I was on the phone with AT&T so that I could continue to try to continue reaching family via email etc. At about 4 pm I got a call on my cell phone but no VM was left. I wrote the number down and had my husband call back. It was Precision Fence and he got VM and left a message to call him back. I called back twice more and left voicemails asking for a call back. As I said, I was on the line and working on my computer with AT&T. After the call I got on my computer and there was a message in my email that Ryan had tried to call and got VM. Then another saying tried to come don't have the address. I answered the email that I and said he had not even left a VM and we tried to call back 3 times. He wrote me back "Sorry i'm short on time today i tried earlier." I responded that apparently (because we called back 3 times) that he did not want the jobs that were here. It isn't like he wasn't in the same city as I am. I got back three more not very nice emails and the last one said "it is Sunday." I really wish that this would have worked out but we are both very glad that true colors were shown before we hired someone to do the work that clearly is not the kind of person we care to work with. He did not exhibit any follow through and basically stood us up. He easily could have left a VM or answered one of our return calls. It is pretty clear that he never intended to come in the first place. Further to this I just received an email stating the following email: "Hi I am sorry but I clearly wrote to you that on Sunday after 3:30 I would call. I called at 3:57 after I had finished with the previous estimate which took longer than expected. That is the reason why I wrote "after" 3:30; because sometimes the people I meet like to talk and I don't want to be rude. When I did call you at 3:57 it rang several times and then went to voicemail. Instead of leaving a voicemail I checked the yelp app on my phone and messaged you there. I also checked the messages to see if you had given me your address; there was none. At that time I was driving from the previous estimate and someone from a different number (that wasn't the one I called) was trying to contact me. I am unable to take calls while driving. It turns out that it was your husband calling. I discovered this later after I reached my destination and was able to check voicemails; but by this time it was already getting too late and it was Sunday and I have family and a daughter to spend time with. I don't normally work on Sundays and made an attempt to fit you in "after 3:30" but unfortunately due to the circumstances I just clearly spent my time writing it just didn't happen. To top it all off you sent me message "warning me" that you were going to leave me bad feedback. That message felt very threatening and didn't bring any joy to my already busy Sunday. I am glad we didn't meet because you are definitely someone I do not want to please in any way shape or form." I tried to respond with this but the owner has blocked my response which would have read: I meant no threat whatsoever. If you took it that way - unintended. All I said was that appropriate feedback would be posted. I believe that I have done that without any embellishment or talking badly about you. Unfortunately, you would have found us to be the most accommodating of customers. You can imagine our frustration dealing with death in the family, trying to contact and not getting any VM responses. Sorry it didn't work out. I wish you no ill will and all the best. Glad we dodged this bullet. Be very careful in dealing with this company. read more

We are so happy with the job Ryan just completed for us. We had to replace the wrought iron fence in the backyard backing up to the golf course since the old one was rotting out. Ryan measured & carefully made sure that the fence & it's gate were installed exactly right, which required some engineering on his part. It all came out perfectly. We contacted Ryan because we needed a chain link fence around the flat part of our acre yard, to accommodate our disabled dog. Ryan responded promptly, came out to give us an estimate, and provided us with plot maps of our yard with several detailed versions of how we could fence, with prices for each. He was even able to create wooden barriers behind a rock spa, and between a patio and drainage ditch, that prevented our three-legged dog from getting his one front leg stuck in between any gaps or uneven rocks.
