I was recommended to use Roger of Pro Gates and it was the best recommendation I have ever received. From start to finish Roger did everything he said he would and did it on time. I was redoing my driveway which is asphalt to the gate and concrete inside of the gate. The gate construction had to be coordinated between 3 contractors. I had a meeting of all three, each stated their needs as far as the gate was concerned and each carried out their jobs without any conflicts and did it promptly and properly. Roger ran electrical down to the gate, built the pilasters and walls, built the gate, had it galvanized, painted it and installed it with the finest hardware available, top quality commercial grade openers, installed the lights on the pilasters, installed the required fire department opener, installed the best system (Doorbird) to open by the use of our phones and supplied openers for each of our vehicles and tractors. I just cannot recommend Roger of Pro Gates any higher, if I did, I would have to marry him. He just not my type, but if you want a trouble free, hassle free on time job, you cannot do better. He will build exactly what you want.

About 6 months later a Best Buy delivery driver drove into my gate and bent the post, ripped the elect eye off of the post, and bent operator arms. I paid Rojelio about $2k (way too expensive) to make repairs. After completion I asked for a letter indicating ProGates would not warranty the work on the operator because there was no way to verify it was as new. They refused. So, if the operator breaks a few months from now the replacement will be at my expense because ProGates won't write a simple, honest letter. Speaking with LiftMaster, they indicated their installers would write a letter to that effect. Hire a professional installer. It won't cost you any more and if you have a problem they'll stand behind their work.

As we approached Bonsall/Fallbrook, we noticed a white service truck bearing the markings of Fredrick Access Systems and Fallbrook Overhead Doors had been tailgating us at about one car length. Before we could change lanes, the Fredrick truck swerved into a break in the number two lane before making an unsafe lane change directly in front of us. I had to take evasive action to avoid a collision by only a few feet. Here is our photograph of the truck identifying the exact Fredricks truck that endangered us. Shortly after the incident I placed a call to the telephone number shown on the truck and spoke with business owner Ann Fredrick. I described the reckless operation of her company's truck and asked that she take appropriate action to assure her employee's accountability. I specifically asked that she investigate the incident and follow up with me later in the day with the first name of the driver and a description of the corrective action she decided to take. Although initially polite, Ms. Fredrick quickly became evasive, said she would not disclose the driver's first name and never followed up with me. We believe that Fredrick's failure to responsibly address this instance of reckless conduct, conflicts with the public personae it presents to the community. We therefore decided to post this information as a community service with the hope that Fredrick re-evaluates its responsibility to the neighborhood it professes to honorably serve.
