I needed work done on some random metal pieces and I was looking around for someone to do it. Mike's shop was the first on the yelp list and he was able to get me in right away. He's very dependable, cordial, and professional to say the least. It's good to know there's still people like Mike around that take care of their community. Thank you again kind sir. Keep welding.

Mike was one of the very few shows that would weld cracked rims around the area. Price was a bit high, but he seems to know what he is doing. So far the wheels have held up and you pay for what you get.

It's great to find a business who exceeds your expectations and provides their services in such a professional and friendly manner! The ramp on my all aluminum Hart trailer had two (of 12) welds that had broken. I was concerned because in the near future I needed the trailer to move my five horses from Aguanga (Temecula area) to Ventura. My horses haven't trailered much, so I plan on practice loading them to get them ready for the move. The ramp definitely makes loading more inviting for the horses, however if the ramp were to collapse in the middle of loading it could be a catastrophe ...So fixing the ramp was a priority... After calling several trailer repair shops and hearing about backlog and learning they don't weld aluminum, I came across Mike's Precision Welding. The first person I spoke to was Kim who is the office manager... I told her my problem, she told me I could bring the trailer in and they'd give me a quote, when I told her I was in Aguanga (40 minutes away), she suggested I take some pictures and send it to her... I did and in the process of opening and closing the Ramp a couple more welds broke... I sent Kim the pictures along with a note that the Ramp had 12 welds 4 or so that were broken, but I was concerned all could go as I had a load of hay in the trailer that I needed to unload... Kim gave the photos to Mike and they promptly came back with a quote that was reasonable along with a note that the quote would be good as long as they weren't missing something that the pictures didn't show.... they also said they could get on it the following day! ... well I dropped everything I was doing and confirmed I'd bring the trailer in right away... all's I had to do was unload the hay and bring it it in... unloading the 20 bales was time consuming as I was trying very carefully not to further damage the ramp... I got about half way through when one of the 100 lb bales hit the ramp off center and her a cracking sound... I thought to myself... better stop now.. shut the ramp, and take it to Mike's. Shutting the Ramp was to much stress and all the remaining welds broke and the 200 lb + or - Ramp fell to the ground.... loading the ramp was a bitch but I was able to get into the trailer and deliver it to Mike's (in hindsight I think it's good it broke when it did... as it could of been terrible if the welds had failed and the ramp had fallen off while I was driving)... Anyway when I got to Mike's at 4:45pm, (they close at 5:00PM) I was greeted by Kim, Mike and a couple of their welding crew members... I opened up the trailer and showed them the aluminum ramp... Mike noted when he'd seen the pictures the ramp was still attached to the trailer... I sheepishly told him the story of how it had come off... I also pointed out how the ramp had a spring loaded system that attached to the hinges he would be welding... at that point I saw a very concerned look on Mike's face... and I started getting really worried... but a moment later, one of his crew said he thought it could be done, if they removed the pins did the welds, then put the pins back and use the weight of the ramp to self load the springs... I didn't understand what he said (and I'm sure I didn't explain it right above), but I was thoroughly relieved and told Mike I was glad I brought the trailer to him!!! Mike said he's fortunate that between him and his crew he's got close to 60 years of welding experience... anyway I dropped the trailer off and although Mike said to check back with him the next day, I expected my trailer would be out for a couple days... Next day came and at 2:30pm got a message from Kim to give her a call... my mind started racing and I expected to hear the hinges were more trouble than expected and they'd need more time and need to order an assembly from the Manufacture.... NO... the Job was done and I could come pick it up... I finished riding my last horse and made the drive.... showed up at 4:45.... Mike was waiting there for me... showed me the trailer and his 12 welds and the reattachment of the Ramp and the Spring loading system... all looked like new! Mike also gave me some tips on how to maintain the hinges and my trailer while helping me hook it up... all that remained was me to settle up the bill... I kept remembering the original message that the quoted price was good as long something came up that didn't show in the pictures I'd sent... well I figured the quote would go up at least 50% due to the whole ramp falling off, the 8 additional welds, and having to deal with the Spring Loading system.... NOPE... price was as quoted... I asked Mike for his card... he gave me two and said to give one to a friend... SO HERE YOU GO! (Anybody who'd read this long of a review must be a friend)...so if you need a good welder ‍ and you are anywhere near Temecula, give Mike's Precision Welding a call, I'll bet you'll be glad you did. Robert explained to me that this is definitely something he could do for me but it would take about two weeks because He needed to draw it out and do all the computer preparation. Four days later he sent me a rough draft and asked if it was looking good I said yes and he had it ready for me the next day.
