I was there today and it was horrible. I could not hear the person talking and dust all over. Horrible experience. The type of work that they are doing at this place needs to be over soon or at least done when people are not around. I rarely take the time to review a business but I have been blown away by the customer service offered by Pauley. I bought a tractor a few months ago from them. Shortly afterward I had a a problem starting it, they had someone out within an hour to adjust a micro switch. When I received the tractor it had a scratch on the hood, they ordered a new hood and came out as soon as it came in and replaced it. Today I went to replace the mower on the back with a scraper attachment for the first time. I struggled for a bit and finally called them to ask for assistance over the phone. Rather than have me do that they sent someone out to show me. I am blown away by the after sale support I have received and recommend them highly! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would! Both BRIAN and TOm, upper management at this company put customers last. I rarely write reviews, let alone negative reviews, but when the management and workers of a "supposedly" reputable company treat customers with TOTAL DISTAIN & Contempt, I'm forced to tell the simple truth, to warn others, that the entire Pauley Equipment team would not help a customer and his ten year old son. Last week, Tom, the Temecula Pauley Equipment manager and I agreed on the purchase of a used chipper. Tom told me to come by Saturday morning to pick up the equipment. We arrived about 10am only to be told by Brian that Tom was not in and he could not help us because this was Tom's deal. I explained to BRIAN we had driven 45 minutes, one way per Tom's instructions. Brian still would not help us at all. He did say he would try and find out what was possible and called me back mid-day saying come in before 3:00pm and he could help us complete the transaction. We arrived back at Pauley about 2:45 that Saturday afternoon. Another 45 minute one way drive. The Pauley staff told us to leave, it was too close to their closing to help us! I asked for Brian, the guy that called, saying to get their before 3pm and he would help us. WOW!!! Was I shocked when he said it was not possible to help because they were closing in a few minutes!! These guys just did not want to help a customer!! On a several thousand dollar transaction, I was shocked!! How does Pauley equipment stay in business. They have a systemic lack for customer service and support that starts at the top of Pauley Equipment and filters down thru their entire team! Do not do business with them. You will NOT be treated well. There will be zero customer support! They do not know what customer service is!!! read more

Jason is awesome. The other guys are great too. Always very friendly and helpful. I use this place for all my rentals to do work or personal use. Very reasonably price to rent aerators, sod cutters and so forth and don't give you grief if you return it back dirty. I've been charged a cleaning fee at other places including the big national companies. I would recommend checking this place out for any of your equipment needs. read more

I rarely if ever give 5 stars. However, Jake Pauley just can't be more helpful. I have been in my own business for 50 years and dealt with all levels of customer service. Jake is at the top of the list for customer interaction and knowledge regarding his products. I haven't had any dealings with the parts department or service...but, if things truly start at the top, and there is any dead wood still hanging around (other earlier postings) I'm sure their tenure is short lived indeed. I have been to other tractor dealerships and if being treated like I have not one but 2 pointed heads...then I'm all in. The attitudes of some of these service and sales people is just terrible. The feeling is, as soon as the person gets the idea that you are just gathering information, and not ready to lay down the hard cash then look out. Cold stares, short one word answers, gazing off into the distant landscape, looking at their watch, etc. etc. read more

Bought our Kubota tractor there in 2013 .. Tom was great, gave us a great deal. The service dept. is great, we actually just pay the extra and they come out and do the service at the house so I don't have to haul my tractor there .. Went there when a friend was looing for a used tractor and a UTV and she found both there and again Tom gave my friend a good deal .. and both used vehicles are working great for her .. Would highly recommend them to anyone .. read more

Rented a Veermeer BC600 with the expectation that it would function as previous rentals of the same machine from various yards had functioned. Picked up a machine with a new motor on an old beat up machine. The motor was fine, the actual machine did not function properly. Customer service on return was not acceptable, no inquiry of how the machine functioned, and no indication that anything would be addressed prior to renting it out again. Explained in detail the issues with the drum auto feed, and yet was basically ignored while payment was taken and I was sent on my way. I'm not just some one time renter...I have used these machines many times with more success. Did not appreciate the level of customer service and can only say, 'renter beware.' read more

I have been a customer of Pauley for over 15 years, recently I called them to arrange for mobile service and repair on my Kubota tractor which I purchased from them (new) in 2002. They told me it was better if they brought it to the shop ($50.00) . They could not diagnose the problem with my transmission but did the basic service ($150.00 + parts). Got it back ($50.00). Final cost $354.74. Found they had not lubed it. Called Service Mgr. Ray Holt and he told me how he had watched the mechanic lube it-until I sent him photos of the untouched zerk fittings, then he said it must have been another tractor he watched being lubed! He sent a kid out with a hand operated (no pressure) grease gun to do a half assed lube job. After he left I looked the tractor over and they had done nothing except change the oil and filters. The battery was low on water and the tires low on air. Then I found the problem with the transmission. It was one and a half GALLONS low on fluid! This was the result of a hydraulic hose that had been replaced recently after which it had not been properly refilled. They had not even checked the fluid level! I confronted Mr. Holt and he concocted some ridiculous story of how they had drained fluid from the transmission? It did not even make sense. He asked me to leave, which I did. wrote a letter to the owner and received no response. I have never been treated so poorly and will never set foot in their business again. The only reason they got one star is because it's required. read more
