They've earned their reputation the old-fashioned way: by being straight shooters and standing by their word. They don't rely on fancy ads; word of mouth keeps them busy, and for good reason. My neighbor Gene in Temecula who referred me to Ray, with a farm and equipment of his own, trusts him completely. After dealing with Ray myself, I see why. The pricing is exactly what he says it will be, no surprises. They work hard, they're honest, and they take real pride in what they do. They're also proud Americans, you can feel it the minute you him. Just good, solid people running a family business the right way. If you want reliable work and straight talk, this is where you go. We have a multiple amputy Veteran that we help as much as possible. So when a bolt sheared off underneath the mover on the pully assembly, we all started putting our heads together to try an get this taken care of for the Veteran. We approached Stauffers with a donated amount of money to get the repair done. Stauffers was very willing to help, in fact when it came down to picking up the mower and returning it to the Veteran we where surprised to find out Stauffers would not allow us to pay for the repair. They took care of the entire job including the parts. With no request of us. And wanting nothing in return but a handshake and a thank you. This is what customer service means. A selfless act wanting nothing in return. Stauffers will always have my business 100%

I was in and out in less than five minutes. The bad Takeaway is that it was a brand new chainsaw, and it was giving me more problems than any other equipment I've ever rented. I took the chainsaw back and they said that they said it was flooded with fuel. They blew all the fuel out. Fixed it up and gave it back to me. I went home and it continued to have the same issues. I eventually got it to work but boy oh boy, was it a hassle. The next day, I returned the chainsaw and he was very kind to void all charges of the rental. He didn't have to do that because I was still able to use it for what I needed. I would recommend this place because the customer service was spot on.

Move on! Unethical behavior. Performs services without your knowledge then bills you for them…read more He was hired to do an inspection on a potential home I was going to purchase. There was a repair needed for him to even test and he decided to do it without my knowledge or approval. I don't own this house. He was hired to do an inspection not repairs. If I had known about the issue I would have contacted the seller and would not have allowed for further inspections or water testing of the well. I would have found out at that point that seller was unreasonable and did not want to do or pay for any repairs and would have cancelled and not incurred further inspection costs. But Mr. Whaley did not advise as he wanted to get paid for more work. He claims he could have done his inspections despite the repair. Then why do the repair? He had to test the water pressure, so no, the repair he did is what allowed him to do that. He loves to debate and treat people like they are ignorant as I have been dealing with him for days as he makes every excuse for his bad behavior. I then proceeded with further inspections/costs since I had no idea that he did this repair. The tech for the septic and ac/heat provided reports immediately on the destroyed septic and heat/ac. The cost for repairs at that point was over $100k for the well, septic, heat & ac! My agent spoke to the seller for a price reduction or repairs. They refused. So I had to cancel the transition. I advised all 3 vendors of the cancellation. However, Mr Whaley never provided any reports on the well or the results of the water testing in the 3 week time required. It is now 2 months after his site visit and I just received the well inspection, water report and a bill for $1500!! My agent sent me his quote for $1300. Mr. Whaley explained he charged for the repair I never authorized. Plus, his fee according to him was higher, 1375 + 125 for the repair. The bottom line is if I had known about the repair of the well I would NOT have proceeded with further well inspections or water testing. But he made the decision to not disclose anything. He also made the decision to not send me any reports on the well or water for 2 months, which at this point they are worthless. And he claims that it was my responsibility to remind him to provide reports, that once he knew I cancelled he had no rush to send anything. And now, that he is in breach of contract, he did not provide reports in a timely fashion or disclose his unauthorized work until now, that I owe his payment. He is ridiculous and behaves like a child who takes no responsibility for his actions and engages in unprofessional and unethical behavior. I am sure he will respond to this review with his excuses and will blame me for his bad behavior as he has been doing via email to me for days. All I can say, is move on!
