They are my go to for small engine repair. My snapper has never run better. Oil change and a new drive belt and a blade sharpening too.

I have a ryobi electric mower. Mice chewed through my control cable that starts and stops the mower. It just needs to be replaced. Do you guys provide that service?

Red flag when a mechanic gets offended by questions and won't give a detailed quote. Thought I…read morewould give Jose a try, as the John Deere service center was extremely busy. Jose gave me a verbal 'not to exceed' and I trusted that, so had my operator haul our tractor all the way out into a remote piece of acreage used as a yard. I kept pushing for the written quote and when I finally got it, it was extremely vague , parts abbreviated, not priced out, etc. So when I dared ask specific questions, Jose told me we would not be doing business, as I had a 'trust issue'. Picked up my machine took it to the John Deere mechanic after a week of down-time with Alfaro. Attached is my trust issue...top estimate from Alfaro, as you can see some parts abbreviated, unspecific and not priced out. Bottom estimate is a snippet from the John Deere mechanic; very specific, parts priced out. I redacted the address and total so as not to be too nasty, but there is a price difference of thousands of dollars between the two companies.

Like…read moreeverything, there is good and bad news on my units, but I always get an explanation of the repairs and the charges and have never felt in any way taken advantage of. I love Jose's direct approach, but some people just can't take it. He has never been rude, but yes, brutally honest, and I appreciate it. Straight to the point. I remember when it was just him, and now to see there are people he brought on is great. His guys might not speak perfect English, but they get the job done, and that is what matters to me. They go to the extent of helping me over the phone....absolutely no one else would do that!
