If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. I called them to check my washer, and the technician showed up completely unprepared. He ran the washer knowing the drain hose wasn't connected, which flooded my entire laundry area. No care, no apology. He barely spent five minutes before telling me multiple parts were broken and quoted me over $800 for repairs -- without even running a full diagnostic. My washer still works on the delicate cycle, and only gives an LF error on the regular one. But somehow he came up with a sky-high quote almost instantly. When I called the office to complain, the staff was just as rude and dismissive. They refused to take responsibility and instead blamed me. Unprofessional, careless, and clearly out to take advantage of people. Save yourself the money, time, and frustration -- go elsewhere. This company is a scam waiting to happen. read more

Our dishwasher is not working and was flooded with water inside. I believe the drainage is not working properly, so we called the plumber and appliance guy to come out and investigate. The plumber drained something in the hose connected to the dishwasher, and the appliance technician pushed buttons in our dishwasher while looking up something on his laptop. I asked him if I could try running it again, and he said no, you need to replace it with a new one from them. I told him I would think about it and get back to him. After he left, I wanted to run it, and it works perfectly. When I booked the appliance guy, he said he could fix any problems I had. That is why I scheduled him to come out. They seem to want to replace my dishwasher without first determining whether it works or not. $300 is completely spent on the appliance technician and plumber. It all stems from the dishwasher's hose draining. These people should have had the chance to try out the dishwasher before deciding whether or not to purchase a new one. Not very happy. read more

Purchased a Maytag Washing Machine a few months ago, and it has been terrible. First I called the appliance store to fix the issues I am having, they sent someone 2 times, then they give me a number for another company to come try and fix it. I called them, they came out, still not fixed. Every load of laundry I do gets all knotted together, I am literally having to untie clothes to move them to the dryer. Since they are so tangled sometimes I have to re wash because they are not getting clean. I have asked that the machine be replaced multiple times to no avail. this is not the first thing I have purchased here, you would think they would try and do right by there customers, but it is the complete opposite. I have had such terrible experience, and customer service. I need a working machine. This company sold me a bad machine and they wont fix it. DO BETTER! The company has been very polite every time I've had to communicate with them and when the technician has been to our home, however I'm not sure they know what they are doing. Every time I've had an issue they didn't return my call and I was required to follow up with them when we had an error code on our refrigerator. The technician told us we needed to order a new part. Almost $450 later, the day after the part was replaced, the same error code reappeared on the fridge. The technician came back out and said he would try a software update that might fix the issue. It did not. He came back out then said another part needed to be replaced, but with the "it might be this part or I can try this..." I just wasn't convinced that my fridge would be fixed. I made several trips to their store because purchasing a new Fridge is a big decision and (my husband and I are about the most indecisive people ever). They remembered us every time and were super patient and friendly. When we finally choose the perfect fridge they had it delivered to our house right away and their guys even installed it for us. If you need warranty repair DON'T CALL Action Appliance these guys are complete fools. These guys say they are a LG approved company, " they don't know the WARRANTY PROCESS with LG". They state that you need proof of purchase in order for LG to send the warrantied part or get reimbursement.. THIS IS NOT TRUE! I don't know anyone that keeps their receipt for 8 to 10 yrs...lol.. Not only did I get LG to provide a letter of authorization for the repair, I actually conferenced them in with the person on the phone from Action Appliance and LG themselves told these clowns that all they need is the serial number and a letter of Authorization, I don't know how much more confirmation you need...lol... Action Appliance were not only rude on the phone they canceled the repair and they stated that they will not do the work unless you have proof of purchase. Searched Yelp And newspaper and after reading many reviews, and having had some bad luck with repairmen in the past Took a referral from son-in-law and called Action . They came on time same day. Personable, professional Repairman discovered problem quickly, didn't have proper part to replace and had to order it. Got dryer fixed good enough to use and said he would be back Friday. He came back on Friday, on time and fixed dryer. I would, without any reservation recommend this company to anyone Needing any appliance repair. I wanted to support our small independent business in Temecula, so I bought a refrigerator from Action Appliance thinking I would get better service from a local company. I couldn't have been more wrong . Save yourself a headache and go to Lowes or Home Depot instead. The guy who delivered the refrigerator charged me an extra $100 to reverse the door handles (Lowes and Home Depot include this service without extra charge). But okay, small business may have to charge a bit more, but I do expect an attempt to do the job right. He installed the freezer door crooked so it hit against the lower door when closing. I had to insist for that to be fixed. Then he made a show of leveling the refrigerator, but he left it wobbling and tilting forward so the doors would not close by gravity like they're supposed to. His careless attitude about quality work became obvious, so I decided to finish the job myself after he left. And this is only half of the story, but I'll stop at this. I thought the company should know about what happened so they could improve their delivery service, but I was shocked by the rude response I received. How can they improve without even listening to their own customer experience? These people seemed nice when I purchased the unit in the store, but they failed to offer a reason why I should prefer buying from them ever again. I said no, I'm in canyon lake. She says that's weird. Repeat your zip code for me. I told her and she says did you move? Lol yeah, I moved in the middle of Christmas while our fridge broke down within 4 days of the last technician that was here..lol I told her no, I did not move. She repeatedly asks me if I'm in lake Elsinore..once again, no, I'm in canyon lake and it's it's own city. So what entrance is it you take? At this point I'm extremely confused as to why all these questions and it's like how many times do you tell someone I'm in CANYON LAKE. We bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from Action Appliances four months ago and it is a total lemon. Here are the issues: (1) A rattle sometimes occurs when the compressor and fan are running. It is very loud and echos throughout part of the house; (2) The water comes out of the dispenser at room temperature unless you fill up a tumbler, then it gets colder; (3) Yesterday the milk had a large block of ice in it, and it's still that way. The temp settings are 37 and -5; (4) The repair man has been out there 5 times and is due to come again; (5) Our electric bill has gone up 20% from this month a year ago and the refrigerator has been the only change. We bought 3 appliances from Lindsay. On short notice we had to move and purchase a washer dryer and fridge. She was honest and extremely knowledgeable. Walked us through the financing application and set us up with delivery. Upon delivery our fridge water dispenser didn't work, called her back and she got us a service tech to come a day or so later, and got it working. Excellent service my foot! We've used this company a few times. It's the only game in town. First few times they sent out this husband/wife team that was horrible and they tried to tell us that the issue with our washer was because we'd added a sock, a sock (which we had not) to our heavy duty washer and it threw the balance off and made the machine stop working. This time, they send Micheal out to diagnose a different issue. I explained what I had done already, according to some YouTube videos I watched concerning the electronics reset and pump filter cleaning. He went to work with the electronics, he then diagnosed the issue as the control board, that was last Friday. Friday morning after he left, I called the store to order the parts. Today is Monday, I called this morning to inquire about the parts ordered. I talked to Mike (not Micheal) who assured me that if I called, the parts would have been ordered either last Friday or Saturday but his system was down and could not see for sure, "but I'm sure they were. I'll call you back in 30 mins after the system is back up." That was 9:45a. I just called them again at 3:20p. Now a woman answers and she gets back on the line after putting me on hold for a few minutes and says, "they were ordered but there's a problem with one part on back order." When was anyone from this company going to call us to follow through with the work order we called them for? I hate that there is no other repair company around to use. You may have to use this company but be advised that you had better stay on top of them because their customer service has a lot to be desired. read more

Extremely disappointed in this business that claims to take care of our community. No customer service skills, no communication skills, and to make matters worse the Manager by the name of Colby never tried to even ask what the problem was. On 11/04/23 Action Appliance at the request of LG came to my residence to inspect my fridge. Parts were needed so parts were ordered. Since we were without a fridge for 10 days I decided to call Action Appliance to check the status. I spoke someone that had no clue on what was going on and seemed to be bothered by my call so immediately she interrupted me and said ( you need to talk to the manager) without saying anything else she puts me on hold for a long period of time without anyone answering. I hung up and called again but this time the manager by the name of Colby answered, never asked how can help, never offered a solution, didn't even seem to care he only became argumentative when I asked why it was taking so long and why had no one had the courtesy of at least give me a call with tine frame. Overall my experience was really bad, I would never recommend this business to anyone and if the owner really cares he needs to retrain, teach and develop the employees for they are the 1st contact they customers have when they call. If I could give them zero stars, I would. My husband contacted this horrible company to repair our dryer. They charge your credit card $99 immediately, even before they do anything. Once the "repair man" comes out to diagnose the problem, you quickly realize that he has no parts in his small car. In order to order the parts, we agreed to a deposit at the price of the part. We were supposed to get a receipt/invoice via text which we never received. Upon checking our credit card online, we realized that he had charged the full amount quoted, including labor, etc. The girl at the office said that she couldn't get a hold of the tech, but that he wasn't supposed to charge the full amount. But, she said she couldn't refund the money. We cancelled the entire order at that time, but she still demanded the $99. What a rip off!! We are still waiting for a credit. We contacted our credit card to dispute the $650, though. Save yourself a lot of trouble and go somewhere else. Steve's Appliance has fixed it and actually had the part. No charges up front at all! I really can't imagine buying the appliances any other place in the city now that we have experienced what true customer service is like. From the moment we walked into the building and selected our refrigerator we were treated with kindness and was educated, which allowed us the select the right refrigerator for our needs. And now talking about their delivery team. Amazing!! Robert called 30 minutes before he was to arrive to let us know he was coming. The refrigerator was a little too wide for the front door so Robert says "no problem I'll take care of it". Robert took the front door off and at the end promptly put it back. Robert was well dressed well groomed very polite and with covin 19 going on had a proper mask on and asked for permission for him to come in. A far cry from other places we have used in the past where the delivery person acted as if we owed him something. Robert was outstanding! Before leaving Robert said " Thank you for allowing us to help you". He then handed me a Thank you card. Totally blew my wife and I away..... I purchased my speed queen (can't say enough good things about this hard to find, reliable brand!) washer & dryer from Marcella and more recently a new double oven and microwave. The prices are FABULOUS! Matt delivered and installed all pieces, excellent customer service, friendly, informative, great communication and timeliness. They have a scratch 'n dent basement too! Used their in home repair service. Warning:Site visit fee does not go into labor costs. Prices: Are super inflated on repair of LG products since they are one of the only LG certified repair businesses in the area. $600 for 1 hour worth of work. When I commented on the expensive hourly price, repairman's response was, "well this is only half the work, I have to submit paperwork to LG as well"....so at best its $300/hr And yes that price was for labor only, as the part was covered under warranty. I did troubleshooting over the phone with LG before having the repairman come out, when trying to discuss what LG and I had discovered, my comments were brushed off with an attitude of 'not knowing what I was talking about' After work was done he did answer all my questions politely, not sure if he realized i was unhappy from my tone, but his attitude seemed changed. read more

Action Appliance has a great staff that is very attentive, but really listens to the needs of their customers and does not push any agenda. They simply want to make sure you get what you need. They helped us find a gas dryer based on our price range and even went above and beyond to decouple it from a set to make sure we got what we needed. We ordered it on Tuesday and had it delivered on Thursday. In my opinion, you should always go through them for appliances as their expertise is deep and they carry better stock than Lowes or Home Depot. read more

I have used Action appliance several times for repairs on my appliances. They are always on time. The technicians they send are fantastic. I have been very pleased. Lindsay in the office is the best. She always gets me an appointment that works with my schedule and tried to help me with ideas that I could try before they came out! Wayne came out this time to repair my big freezer.
