My ice maker went out. I originally contacted a repair company that said they don't repair Samsung but another company referred me to Don's. I thought that was good sign since that other company is staking their reputation on this referral. I was not disappointed! I called for an appointment and liked how they follow up with texts so there is no confusion. Anthony was right on time, very professional. He was up front about the age of our fridge and if we were thinking about replacing it any time soon, he would not bother with the repair. Since a new fridge is not in our budget, we went with the new ice maker. He wasn't sure if another part would be needed, so he said he would order that part too. 8 days later, I got a text saying that the part came in with an open appointment time, if it worked for me. Communication was very efficient! Anthony came replaced the ice maker and tested the other part. My old one was working so he didn't have to replace it saving me $120! Also, the charge for the initial diagnostic appointment was applied to the final repair cost so that was a savings too! It's been about a month and my new ice maker is working like a champ! I appreciate Don's warranty on their work, if I should need it. Anthony was good about cleaning up after each time, even when we said we would do it. We could tell Anthony cared and really took pride in his work and was an upright hardworking guy. The type that's a pleasure to do business with. Called to get my fridge repaired bc freezer was out. Very responsive and had the soonest available appt within 2 days (which was the earliest out of a number of companies I called). Sent info,picture, and model number. They called back and informed me that based on what they saw, it was likely irreparable and recommended replacement- also gave some suggestions on suggested brands based on their repair experience. I contacted Breanne at Don's Appliance Repair, She answered the phone right away, was professional courteous, and had a level of empathy for our situation. I called Don's the same day when my washer gave out. Don's was able to schedule me the next day which I highly appreciated. The gentlemen came out to our house, was professional and informed us that our washer was pretty much on it's last leg and there was a super rusted bolt that was seized, stopping him from opening the washer completely up. He informed us that it was simply just time to get a new washer. He also provided recommendations and some tips about what brands to lean towards in terms of longevity and quality. I gave up trying to get a knowledgeable, professional appliance repairman through my warranty service (AHS) to repair my icemaker. Their appliance repair service made several trips to diagnose and attempt to fix the problem and was never able to make it work and closed the service request by saying the fridge was old! I called AHS to cancel the Service Agreement and they requested another opportunity to "make it better" and would send another company to fix it. I agreed to give them a second/third chance, however when I checked Yelp and saw all the negative reviews with this second company I decided to cancel and have it repaired by a company of my choosing. I found Don's Appliance on my neighborhood ap and YELP with great reviews, gave them a call and their response was immediate. OMG - Anthony, their serviceman was here less than 10 minutes and was able to diagnose and repair the problem! A water valve was partially turned off and water not flowing into the icemaker! Anthony is friendly, honest and knows his stuff!! I would not hesitate to call Don's Appliance in the future and would certainly recommend them. Great service!! read more

After feeling good about those discussions we retained him to repair the lighting in our refrigerator and freezer. We also hired him to install a new HVAC compressor. Look no further for appliance repair! Our 3 year old washing machine hasn't been working correctly for about 6 weeks, (won't power on). I called the manufacturer and followed instructions to reset the machine (no luck) and called an electrician thinking the outlet wasn't working, but other electronics worked fine plugged into that outlet. Plus the cost for electricians to come an diagnose was so expensive. I called Don's appliances and was able to be seen within a few days. Anthony came out and diagnosed the issue very quickly, and for a reasonable rate (which get applied to the additional work they do to fix the issue), and he is very honest. The computer board of my washer needs to be replaced and he said that part is several hundred dollars and may be better to get a new washer. He is looking into a quote for the parts, but the price to repair would be close to the price for a new washer. I asked him about brands etc, and he gave me his honest opinion about that as well. He tried to fix it (not sure if it will work as I haven't tried to use it since he was here), but said he serviced the same washer a few weeks ago, and was able to fix it but it went kaput after about a week:). So after this, we are going with a new washer, but I am grateful that he came and tried to do what he could to fix it, and appreciated his honesty about pricing and options. I will definitely call Don's appliances again if I need a repair. Oh and BreAnne, she is so nice and helpful and responsive. Thank you both for wonderful service! read more

I called Don's Appliances to have someone come and look at my washer that stopped working. Brianna the girl in the office called me right back. It was a Friday so we schedule a Monday morning appointment. Anthony text me and called me to let me know he was on his way over. Anthony was very easy to work with and to understand the problem I had with the washer. He said he needed to order the part and come back in a couple days. They called me on Friday morning and she told me they had the part and had a slot within an hour to come over to fix it! I said awesome come on over not a problem! So Anthony once again very pleasant to work with and he's very knowledgeable! This company was on point and the service fee applied to the labor and part he put in for me! So I paid $125 for service and to diagnose the problem and then he came back and we paid another $175. So I really would like to recommend these guys to everybody! They also guarantee there work for up to 1 yr on the parts and labor. They're Very polite and professional service for a reasonable fee, I will call them again if I need them! Anthony diagnosed the horses galloping sound affects in our dryer within 10 minutes. One dag-gone dryer sheet with a little lint was stuck under the drum. Anthony Best Fridge repair man ever! I hired a previous company 2 days prior and they were NOT able to determine what was the cause of the breaker tripping constantly. Anthony took his time and didn't give up, he tested all possible scenarios in which an electrical short would happen. He was persistent and examined every connection and tested to make sure it was not the issue. Until he found the corroded connection close to where the water line is for the water/ice dispenser. Cleaned it out and low and behold the fridge worked! He recommend we wait a few days to make sure that was it and then suggested to order and the part for the broken valve that cause water to corrode the wires connections.
