I would probably avoid this repair service at all costs. We have a Samsung refrigerator that is notorious for icemaker issues. I reached out to them to fix the problem. In order for me to get them scheduled I had to pre-pay for the replacement icemaker they showed up a few days later replaced the icemaker and supposedly corrected the issue that was causing the melting ice. Two weeks later the I started melting in the problem started all over again they came back out one more time. And sent a new technician. I had (and still have) an issue with my Frigidaire fridge/freezer. Viktor first came out on July 17 to diagnose the problem and told me it was a motherboard issue and that he needed to order a new one, but they wanted $450 upfront. He then came back out on July 22 to put the new motherboard in and as soon as he did something blue on the motherboard. He also said the fan was bad so he was going to replace that as well. He said he could take it back and repair it. I contacted them again on July 24 to see when Viktor would be back out. On July 29, I got a message saying they tried to fix the motherboard, but they were unable to, so they ordered a new one. I finally got a message saying that Viktor would be out August 7th between 8-10am. Then I got a call saying that they were delayed and they would be out between 2 to 4 PM, then I got another call saying that there was an emergency and they would be out Saturday the 8th. Viktor showed up today and after about an hour informed me that after installing the motherboard and fan, it still wasn't working and he doesn't know what the issue was/is. He said he wasn't going to charge me for today's visit but he would not issue a refund for the previous work. The whole 3 week process was a massive waste of my time as well as a waste of my $450. I do not recommend this company.....Their response is typical for a business that does not want to own up to their ineptness.....I hired and paid them good money to NOT repair anything. The washer in our investment property started to have brown flakes while doing laundry. I asked for an estimate from Easy home repair, and Alex estimated the cost as $250. The technician came over and we got a new quote of $475. We agreed to pay it even that it seems very expensive since we wanted the tenants to have the option to do their laundry fast. They asked for deposit of $235. Long story short, after almost a week and a half since we started the process, 3 times that the technician came over and around 10 cycles of washer cleaning the washer still had the same problem. We asked the company to send us the money back but they said they will only going to give us $126 back since they replaced a part that cost them money. I asked them to come and take the part but they refused. Bottom line, we paid $109 for nothing. Very disappointing!!! read more

When my refrigerator decided to malfunction I used Yelp to find a suitable, and affordable repair service. On my behalf the app contacted at least five local companies, and Easy Home Repair was one of the first to reply with a Diagnostic fee of $45. A fee that goes towards repairs if necessary. It was. Victor came out and was diligent at identifying the issue. Basically, my Frigidaire unit has a proprietary part that required a special kit to be ordered. As such, he enabled the freezer to still function and said the refrigerator might last a week until he was able to return with the parts. All said and done, Victor returned precisely at 8am on Memorial Day and was finished with the repair in under 45 minutes. Great guy, quick replies to inquiries, and left the kitchen clean afterwards. Yelp response was quick. Andrew was very good at taking the dryer apart and was glad that I had a pro check it out. The last repair was done poorly and the wire to the heating unit fried. I thought he said it would be $75 to replace the wire that would be required to see if anything else was wrong. Since I had a service fee I figured that was fine. He replaced the wire in 15-20 minutes tried it and everything worked. He told me it is will $275. I asked how it was so much when quoted $75 for the wire. I asked if something else needed to be done or if the heating unit was broken. Or if it included extra labor or parts or the $60 assessment was separate or part of that. I guess it was $200 for the labor. I had cheaper quotes to fix it and it was over my budget, but it did get fixed. For this price I could have bought another dryer. read more

I wanted a full run to make sure it works as I always do with appliances (makes sense, other repair ppl are always ok with this).. this upset him a lot. They finally agreed to let the person at the house do a full run of the appliance but they kept calling and texting from different numbers. My friend was at the house when they came by for a final check and said their customer service was not good and even he'd prefer i didn't use them again. So I have this built-in KitchenAid refrigerator. Victor came out checked on a few things and diagnosed it within the first 1/2 hour. He had a part on his truck that was the correct part, but with a wiring harness for another model. He replaced the module and the refrigerator was once again up and running.
