The $75 service call was deducted from the total bill. The fans and ice maker had to be ordered and the expectation was set they would be in on Wednesday. I contacted LOWL Appliance Repair and the repair tech came to my house on September 3, 2025 and charged $70. He promised this would go towards my repair bill. He said he would order the part for my refrigerator and call me to schedule repairs. I haven't heard back from him since that day. I just called and the tech said he texted me and I didn't respond. I never received the text and I never received a phone call or voicemail explaining why I haven't been contacted yet. I just called today asking where the part is and when can repairs be done. I jad them come in and the techician seems to change the price of repair so then he sent an invoice to my phone that said no deposit due, yet he told me in my house that a 200.00 deposit was required so I wrote a check for that amount. On July 26th 2024, a technician came by to check why my LG refrigerator was not cooling. He told me the compressor is no longer working. I'm not 100% sure if he ran any tests, he checked the back of the fridge and unscrewed a metal plate before he told me. He gave me a quote of $1300 to replace the compressor or he had another fridge exactly the same he was trying to sell me for $750. I scheduled an additional appt with an LG certified technician directly and this technician told me it's not the compressor at all. But when he left it was still the same, emitting a weird chemical smell. We still couldn't use it. i was quoted $70 to come diagnose my dryer issue, and was told that would be applied towards the repair if I decided to use them. afterwards they told me that it would be $195 for labor for 20 minutes work, and that included my 70 being applied. what kind of rate is that? then they charged me 84 dollars for a part that was $15 on Amazon. In total I paid 279 sugars for 20 minutes work and a 15 dollar belt being installed. I cannot in good faith recommend this company. Found this company in yelp and reach out as it has okay reviews. Kabi responded right away and offered a same day appointment for a $70 fee diagnostic fee. The tech arrived and looked at the washer and said he couldn't diagnose because he needs a second tech as my washer and driver are stackable units. The tech said I would have to pay $100 to the second tech so they can look at the unit and get it diagnose and then tell me how much will be to repair. He also said he can just find me another refurbished washer instead ( without even telling me what's wrong with my machine or what will be the cost to repair). I paid the $70 and he left and I had not diagnose and no estimate to repair and getting that information will require another visit and $100 more. I feel that I was rob/scam by this company. I contacted another company, the tech over diagnose right and did not even charge me the fee as he needer to go quote the replacement part first in order to give me a diagnose estimate. read more
