Just had the dread of almost every vanlifer or rver...a needed repair when you're traveling. It's so hard to get help quickly. My gray water tank valve decided to completely detach from the tank making it impossible to use my sink or shower. A complete jerk. I have a camper that was damaged in the record rainfalls in Florida while it was in storage. It's worth practically nothing as the roof and floors are in disrepair. I'm a full-time RVer so I continue to live in it while I shop for another RV. As I head to the Northwest I have just one hill to navigate and dont want to spend a fortune on an electrical issue with the brakes. If it's a quick fix, great. If not, I'd take a chance going over Tehachapi Pass. His rates are pretty high but I was willing to take a chance at $200-400. I told I'd like to set it up but after 1 hour I'd like have a solid diagnosis. If not, I'd pay him for coming out. Unreasonable for a camper on its last leg? He took this as an insult and basically told me I have financial "issues" and then hung up. So, buyer beware...because he considers himself the "best" with rv electrical issues (and he probably is)...you are not allowed to be concerned with costs. read more

Jason came out to repair a non working 5th wheel furnace. It had been inoperable since time of purchase and had been worked on by previous owner and myself. Jason was thorough , diagnosed the problems, made repairs and even had the correct thermostat (the one installed wasn't correct) on hus truck. Help! We have no water pressure, wait!!! NO!!! The slide out won't come in!!! Needless to say we were in a pinch and a less honest mobile mechanic would have had a field Day with us! NOT Jason!!! Let's start with the obvious, mobile repair is just much more convenient and given that ALL the dealers are booked a month in advance or their labor rates are bordering on $200 an hr! Mobile is the way to go... we actually ran into Jason a month ago while walking our dogs in the Rv park we are staging our rv at (50-state tour/book tour) and he was friendly and approachable. We took down his number and forgot all about it, fast forward a month later and we are having our own crisis! We looked up mobile rv repair CD came up and when I punched in the number Jason's name came up. He actually wasn't working but came into the shop JUST FOR US!! Mechanics are a hit and miss and this was a total hit out the park!!!! JASON IS THE MOST HONEST MECHANIC WE HAVE EVER MET!!! he could have gouged us cause this is after all our home! He dug right into the problems. First, the "no water pressure thing" it was as simple as a city hose connection (the original was still installed) pressure fitting not sealing. After 13 yrs the part failed, not bad for a plastic part. Jason changed it out and figured out in 60 sec that a filter on our water pump was also loose, he hand tightened it checked all our fittings and boom we have water pressure again... Now let's get to the elephant in the room, the slide out. Long story short the cotter pin was breaking for no discernible reason other then, cosmic karma?? I don't know what to tell you. I made several trips to the local big box hardware store to find an alternative to the hollow cotter pins that kept breaking on us, only to have the original fix (hollow cotter pin) work. Jason answered all our newbie questions, taught us some tricks to maximize our AC use and was kind to my wife and our barking service animals, who are always weary of new people. To make matters better the bill was lower then expected, discounted lower then his posted rates and he takes electronic payments cause who carries cash anymore? Stopping for the night and need something fixed? Don't put it off check it off your list and have Jason do it. Have a 911 and need help call Jason he won't take advantage of you when your the most vulnerable and in need of the most help... We are traveling all 50 states and we want to share our experiences good and bad with everyone. This is one of those GOOD experiences when something went bad!!! read more

I'm writing this review because my sister wouldn't - this is a conversation I heard on speaker phone - and people need to know how unprofessional this place is. The guy is a flake and unprofessional ! makes an appointment with you, then calls to reschedule and when you say ok no problem, he then goes off on you for accepting a reschedule - so instead of saying - hey I dont want to travel that far he just goes off on you instead - NOT professional - anyone who acts like that probably cant do a simple job of vent repair or fix plumbing leaks ect .. stay clear of this place. So my assessment is from a few bad reviews on this jerk is - when the guy cant do something he turns into an ass towards you instead of saying - hey I dont know how to put new vents on, or fix an awning, or install a new heater or fix plumbing .. so not being able to do those things says a lot for a rv owner .. Requested a quote to replace an awning and 2 spring assemblies. Received the quote and sent back a counter offer. Had to wait 4 days for a reply then I get the following response: "For that price you're looking for a handyman to install your parts". Hey Jason if you didn't like the counter offer just sat "No".
