This was my own fault. I didn't want to wait 6 weeks at my normal powder coating place. I called Temecula Valley Powder Coating and they said they could do it in 2 weeks. I figured what the heck, I'll give them a try. I went down to TVPC and right then and there I should've backed up and waited the 6 weeks. In their front window they had a giant poster for MAGA idiot Bianco for California Governor. I figure, Oh well, that is their opinion. Anyways, after the 2 weeks I called and she informed me that she forgot to order the base color, and she will get it and have my bookshelf finished this week. I called and she told me next Monday. I didn't get the call, but they did finish it by the end of the week. I walked in and my art work bookshelf was ruined. The powder coating was blotchy in some places and in other places it was so thin that the color wasn't even close. They drilled holes in it to hang it, but instead of drilling in the bottom, they did it on the sides, which is very visible. They quoted me $450, but she offered a 50% discount before I even looked at their work, so I knew something was wrong, and it was. I am so upset that I am going to have to take it back to my other place and have it sandblasted and recoated. I should've backed up, drove away, and waited the 6 weeks. read more

I rarely leave reviews for anything, but I felt that BRYAN and his son and his crew deserve this one. They did an amazing job with 20+ pieces as large as a bed, cage, rear bumper, motorcycle frame and various parts and only one little spot was missed, which they were quick to take care of at no cost and re- coated a couple of pieces that I had messed up on and had to cut down. Excellent work and communication and even got the stuff done quicker than maybe I wanted (wasn't looking forward to putting the truck back together). Thank you and very, very nice work! read more

I called to make sure they were open till 3pm they said yes . I got to the shop at 232 doors are locked!! I went around back and the opened to from door but couldn't answer any Qustions or even give me real prices they said $80 to $120 and that the person who could give me prices had left. Then the guy said well we close at 3 and it was 245pm. Someone else was trying to get parts that were not given to them for an order. Went somewhere else and was charged more possibly but I know what the price is and what to expect. Bad way to do business especially when your hours are hard for working people to even get in I had to leave work early that's why I called before I went down there. read more

I had taken some parts here to be power coated satin black. I was promised to have them back in 3-5 days. I called on the 5th (Friday) day and was told I could pick them up Monday when I needed them on Friday as promised. When picking up the parts the lady was very rude. The parts has fish eyes (small bubbles) I asked her about this and she told me this is why I don't do small jobs...because of people like you. All I asked her if this was normal or not. Since the parts were going on a show car, I paid her took the parts to another local powercoater who removed the old power for free and re power coated the parts. They look good now. I guess this place is okay. I mean they offered a decent price. Not great, but decent I guess. But then, I got the item back to the garage and before I could even mount it up to vehicle - the paint started chipping off. It actually started chipping off even places that weren't being wrenched on. Its disappointing considering the price and wait time. The guy was a nice and friendly, so a couple stars for that - but the quality just wasn't as expected. read more

Mike and Lisa were very helpful in describing the different finishes and, most importantly, all of the potential problems that may occur because of our design. Excellent work and quick turnaround! Some other shop did a poor job on some parts for my boat, wasn't prepped right and was peeling off at the edges right away. I just picked up my original engine tins and they look amazing, looks like the factory finish with none of the orange peel I got at other places. I have been using these guys throughout my 68 bug project and have been extremely happy with both the service and quality. I loved the outcome when the gate was first done and then a year later some issues arose but true to their standards, they refinished the gate and it looks brand new again. We have used them for quite a few jobs and quality is horribly inconsistent. The last few jobs were sub par and you could still see raw metal underneath. Other parts were thick and runny. One part (which i had paid to have sandblasted) still had the barcode sticker on it under the powdercoat. The biggest kicker is the lady there is incredibly rude and argumentative for absolutely no reason. She has no business dealing with customers at all. If you ask her a simple question she gets extremely defensive and treats you like you're wasting her time and they don't want your business. Hint taken.... we will not be returning. read more
