UPDATE 11/19/25: My neighbor wanted to replace the fence…read morebetween our yards using his fence guy but since we were splitting the cost I decided to call my fence guy (Dave the Fence Specialist) for a quote and to give him the opportunity to win the project. Just like the first project, Dave was extremely responsive and his quote ended up being much better than my neighbors fence guy. My neighbor also wanted to perfectly match the vinyl fence he had installed previously on the other side of his yard and Dave just took one look at a photo and instantly knew the brand name and color and was able to get that material while still honoring the quote. So we went with Dave. While Dave was completing the fence my neighbor was having some major renovation work done in his home and he had a lot of contractors out there at the same time. Daves work and professionalism impressed the other contractors who were out there too, so much so that my neighbor said they (the other contractors) plan on calling Dave for their fence work as well. That's how you know Dave is good - he's the contractor that other contractors call when they need fencing done! Thanks again Dave!

It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men -- Frederick Douglass…read more Luckily I didn't need to repair myself ;-) just a bed that broke after Spartan Moving's employees did not re-assemble it correctly. Garry can verify how poor of a job was done. It took him 3 visits to get the bed sturdy enough to sleep in again with extra wood and brackets doing the trick. He also cut and installed baseboards to replace the ones missing after the Murphy bed was removed from the other master suite. Pricing was fair, Garry only takes cash so keep that under consideration. I hired him off of Yelp based on his reviews and I would hire him again. Recommended!!

Ordered a French door from Home Depot and had it delivered, the description said prehung but door came in three separate cartons. Needless to say it was not prehung as described, G had to router out hinges, drill out holes on each door for handles, then precisely put the frame together and assembly the doors. Was amazed of the experience and how methodical G worked to complete the job. He even left and opening above the door so that we could add a transom to allow more light into that area. Cannot say enough of how appreciative I am for his master carpentry. All completed at a reasonable price. Thank you G

I hired this company to do monthly yard maintenance. The first visit the worker broke a sprinkler…read morein a hedge, took the riser and parts without telling me it had happened. When the sprinklers went on the next day I had a geyser from the broken sprinkler. I called the company and asked that they repair the damage. First he called me back and said that the worker denied breaking it. Then said they would fix it anyway. 2 weeks later (during a heat wave) unable to run part of my sprinklers I had to hire someone else who fixed it in 10 minutes. I supplied the parts at a cost of $10.00 and later got a bill from Sweet Home for the entire bill for service the month before and marked "Overdue". How dare they! Most of the bushes they were to trim were not even touched. I would never use them again! Leo just called me and threatened to break the windows in my house if I do not take down this review. Beautiful, quality work and all his contractors were top notch, professional and knowledgeable. I trusted him like family and didn't feel the need to "baby-sit" when they were working. Just a stand up, all around honest guy who won't beat around the bush and tells you everything straight up. Since then, we have hired him in February 2019 to build a closet in our teen room and again we were not disappointed. He is prompt, communicative and does stellar work. He also has the patience of a saint, I know I wasn't the easiest client to deal with, but he was a trooper! Whenever there were any issues, he was quick to fix it. We wish we could hire him for additional small jobs, but we also understand he is such a busy guy doing larger jobs all over since he's in such high demand. You will not find a more cost competitive company while getting amazing service, the highest quality materials and top notch installation. The co-owners, Gabriela (office) and Juan (team lead), and their crew are so easy to work with and assure your total satisfaction through the whole process - they care and their craftsmanship is top notch. Ortiz is highly rated, fully licensed with excellent warranties on their install and a product warranty backed by a high-quality manufacturer. I ran a bid process across 4 companies large to local for a multi-neighbor vinyl fencing project. i used recommendations from a neighbor's property management company, a prior fence company I had used along with finding Ortiz through current research. Ortiz was the clear winner! Ortiz outbid one easily, was the same per foot cost as a larger fence company (Ortiz offered superior product, service and install), and beat a highly rated local company offering $2 less per foot whose customer pictures looked great but pictures are deceiving (that many homeowners would not catch). This one lower cost company uses inferior, less durable 11 1/2 in panels which did not have the UV, weather protection of the high quality manufacturer used by Ortiz. Do not be fooled.

Juan and his team showed up early each day and worked the entire day. We requested a horizontal fence for our front yard with small spacing. Juan tore everything down, started all over again, and cut the planks to the exact size. We so appreciate the attention to detail, hard work, and making sure that we were happy with all aspects of the work. We could not be more pleased with the work and would highly recommend Ortiz Fencing!
