I'd like to give a shout out to SHANE, an outstanding customer service representative at the Lowe's Customer Service desk in Murrieta. Shane went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue with my license plate on my vehicle. I needed some new screws. The ones that were in there were so incredibly hard to get out. Shane went outside and went above and beyond to get the problem solved. Shane figured out the correct metric screw size that we needed in the hardware department . Then went back outside again in the parking lot to make sure they fit on my Mercedes-Benz. The screws fit beautifully! Thanks to Shane, I have a nice and secure license plate + frame now. Tools! Lowe's is my favorite location for all my tools s, whether it's auto, household or garden. My favorites are DeWalt for my DIY jobs and Craftsman for auto or jobs requiring sockets and box wrenches. But there are many brands and Lowe's carries all of them and around the holidays you can get some great deals! "Buy a tool get a tool" or great discounts. Today was my first time visiting the Lowe's in Marietta, and it was a great experience from start to finish. I came in to pick up two storage sheds and stopped by the Pro Desk, where I was warmly greeted by a young lady at the service counter. She quickly contacted her manager, Michael, who reached out to the loading team. Joseph and Jacob R. wasted no time in helping me get everything loaded up efficiently. Afterward, I went inside to browse for items for a bathroom remodel I'm currently working on. Ian assisted me and was both knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to answer my questions about different products. Went to Lowes today to take an item back. There was no problem returning it and the woman in customer service was very nice. The return consisted of a water testing kit that my handyman purchased for me when he was out on a run for sprinkler parts. The cost was $30!!!!! Got a better kit on Amazon for $10. I entered the store through the gardening dept which I very much like. And I enjoy seeing Sharri at check out, when she is there. Friendly, sincere and funny. Today was a pleasant time. We like going to this Lowe's, conveniently located off of Madison Ave right by the 15 fwy south. We come here for all of our household needs. Most recently, we bought AC filters bc we thought our AC broke (omg not during this atrocious heatwave), but my handy twins wanted to try "YouTube Diagnosis" and sure enough, filters just needed to be replaced + AC breaker had to be reset (so AC is not broken, thank God). Staff was helpful in helping us locate the filters. I also bought appliances a few years ago with the 5 year warranty. I lost the paper for the warranty so I had asked customer service if they would happen to have a copy... they don't!! Lesson learned: DO NOT LOSE YOUR WARRANTY PAPER!! Scan it into your email or something!! However, I did call the warranty 800 number and luckily I registered my appliances when i made the purchase and they were able to match my phone number to the warranty. Service tech came to fix it real quick and was done in 30 minutes. I love the selection of plants here. They carry a large selection of seeds, plants, trees, flowers, so many to name!! read more

When I decided to purchase a Microwave and Dishwasher, we went to Murrieta Lowe's. We were given the price and I mentioned that I have a Lowe's Veterans discount, he said "We don't give Veterans discounts on appliances". I thought that was odd. So, we went and used my wife's credit card. When I got home, I looked on the corporate web site and it states that they DO give Veterans, Military discounts on appliances. So, I decided to call the corporate customer service. She told me that her "system" wouldn't allow her to correct the problem, when I asked for her supervisor, she told me "OK, but my supervisor will tell you the same thing". Always love coming to Lowe's over other neighboring home stores. Just a greater selection here and cleaner and more organized. Never have any issue with something being out of stock either. Whether I'm coming by myself or cruising around with a family, this is just a great store always with great service. Rarely do I ever have a hard time finding somebody to help me with something unlike the HD right up the street. I don't think Lowe's is necessarily the lowest price between all of the different home stores, but for great service and a clean, beautiful store I I feel it's okay. One of my favorite spots to go here is the Garden department. They've always got such a great variety. Definitely seems like they want top dollar first stuff here.. I guess that would be my only gripe. Either way, 10 out of 10. I recommend coming here to this Lowe's. read more

I OVERCHARGED $254.29, AND THEY WILL NOT FIX IT!! On July 20th, 2024, I walked into Lowes Escondido to purchase 200 16-inch blocks for a retaining wall. I walked to customer service and was greeted very nicely. I conveyed that I needed qty 200 units, which I had purchased 500 units before, and it was shipped out of the Marietta location. She confirmed that the area had 900 units, then confirmed that a flatbed was needed and that there was a $79.00 delivery fee. We finalized the transaction of $770 for the block, $79.00 for the shipping, and tax of $ 65.80, and the total was $914.80. Delivery was set for Monday the 22nd; Lowes will call with a time to schedule. I received a phone call. Saturday, I thought it was for scheduling at 7:46 pm, and the shipping department was confused. They did not have the block at the Escondido location. I told them it was being pulled from the Marietta location. They stated they would figure it out. I received another phone call from the Escondido Location on Sunday at 8:42 am, and they couldn't figure it out, so I talked with a manager. I told them why dont you back out of the transaction and resubmit it for the Marietta location. They stated they could do that, that I would need to call Marietta and schedule, and that they canceled my order. I called the Marrietta location to remake the purchase at 9:15 am on the 21st. They set up the transaction, but I was told the price was more than just a little bit, but by $254.29. I asked why, and they stated that the block is sold for more through their location, and the delivery fee posted for $79.00 is now $99.00. I needed the block to match the last order, so I purchased it. I was then told that My order would show up 5 days longer than what was originally scheduled; I made arrangements for help that day. I then called Lowes corporate to see if they would help fix the price and was told no. I then looked on the web to see if anyone else had the same block, as I was disheartened by the poor runaround and service. I found out that the same Marietta location had a lower price posted via Google compared to the original lower price I paid for from the Escondido location. This was not a sale price, it wasn't on special! I will think long and hard if I EVER need anything again from lowes. In addition to feeling screwed over by Lowes, they violated California Law with this issue, code 12024.2 BPC. They charged more for the item posted on the web tied to their location. The original order was sold to me at a lower price, then canceled and then charged me more. I do not recommend Lowes! read more

The service here is not the greatest at they're night hours, my Dad and I were recently picking up a dishwasher here and we waited 20 minutes for service until we just went to the front desk and asked. The value of the dishwasher was very great though it is a pretty descent dishwasher for the price that we got it for. I do not know enough about the service during the day I am just saying that the night crew was not the best. read more

For the first time, my husband and I went to the Lowes store in Murrieta. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and helpful the people working there were. They went out of their way to help us and make us feel at home. A special shoot out to Elly and Eric for helping us above and beyond expectations. I will for sure visit that store again even though I live near the Temecula Lowes store. The reason for this is on numerous visits they are never friendly or helpful. If you ask them for help, they usually point you in the direction with a scowl on their face like you bothered them. I ordered a vanity light from lowe's in October. After waiting 2 weeks, it came in damaged. I know this wasn't Lowes fault but what happened next was Lowe's fault. I kept checking to see if the light came in, they said it will be in on the 18th of Nov. I called the store to find out the light was never ordered. I ordered a microwave, with delivery and installation. The microwave arrived at the store in about three weeks. Then there was a technical problem in there Installation software and we were never scheduled for installation! After a week of trying to them to call an installer, I was told by the store manager that she couldn't do that. I canceled the whole order. Incredibly bad customer service! read more

If anybody ever wondered about corporate thievery well check thus out. The photos I'm posting are all the same item. Look at the skew and check the barcode. You can see on the actual company packaging that this item is $15.98 but lowes is trying to sell it for $26.98. That is an absurd mark up. And if you think it's not lowes I've posted another picture where that same item is sold for 19.98 right next to it. When I brought this up, they had to honor the 15.98 price but through the companies shelf price out the next day so that nobody knows how much it is and now they won't honor the real price. Look. We went back Saturday and Cody Payne was very helpful when it came time to decide on the wood. He offered ideas for transportation loaded it all on a flat cart and told us to ask for loading help at the front which we did. It took little time for someone to come up front and put it in our car. Received a quote from Lowes installation for a kitchen tile backspash and noted there was no provision for demolition of the current backsplash. Lowes's response was that I was expected to arrange for the demolition myself. Thus the quote was artificially low for the job required because it was based on partial job completion. We visit this Lowe's because it is convenient, and we usually have a good shopping experience. However, today was terrible. Caden, also known as Joe, was rude at the self-checkout. He grabbed my military ID from my hand to apply the discount and told me I needed to show my driver's license. If a veteran hasn't designated their status on their driver's license and only has a military ID, are they ineligible for the discount? Despite being told multiple times by a coworker not to grab my ID, Caden did not listen. After my transaction, I went to customer service to file a complaint, but the manager on duty didn't address the situation at all. I understand it's a busy time of year, but treating customers with dignity and respect should be a standard practice. read more

I've been shopping this Lowe's for 20 years and have probably spent about $200,000 here, but I've had a major problem lately. I went in the store the other day and waited 20 minutes for someone to show up, to unlock the power tools, which no one ever did, even after I had one of the cashiers call for someone. Today I went through the same thing, but I only waited 10 minutes. I had one of the cashiers call for someone to help, and another guy did the same thing with a different cashier. No one ever came, so we both left. I talked to the manager and she said anyone that works there can open them, but I never saw anyone either time. She said they had to keep them locked up because of theft, but if I cannot buy power tools then what's the point of selling them. She made it sound like it was an unsolvable problem. read more

I purchased a tree on December 3rd through Lowes online website for my family after ours burned last year in a shed fire. I also paid for an extended warranty. I was told even though the item is defective and the lights stopped working after having the tree up for only a week and a half, I was not allowed to return it due to their HOLIDAY return policy not allowing returns after the holiday even though the item is defective and not working!
