I got so excited seeing a Tractor Supply because I've only seen stories on them on Instagram and didn't think we had any here. Of course, it was fitting it was in Murrieta. It's near the Home Depot plaza near Clinton Keith and has plenty of parking. It reminds me of the stores back in Texas, and it's just so fun to see all the stuff in there. They really do sell chicks and ducks! They have a lot of good sales, I got a hummingbird feeder and we got some solar lights that are shaped like tractors, and some seeds. Just random things, but it is really fun walking around. They have everything you could think of and more, and they even have a vet at this location (not sure if that's normal for all locations), but the cashier was so nice. If you want bad customer service, then come here because you won't get any customer service at all. All the employees avoid you like the plague or are just bored teenagers loafing around and who weren't raised with any manners. This is such a cool store to come into so it's so sad that they make you feel so unwelcomed. Management needs to step up and make some changes or retrain your employees to at least attempt to look and act like they want to be there. If I was the manager of this store, I would be so pissed that these employees are getting paid and are doing the bare minimum if even that. But, apparently they don't care because it's always a revolving door of unhelpful and impolite workers. read more

All the staff members in the store were extremely helpful, it was my first time in tractor supply so I had a ton of questions and they spent all the time I needed. Also, Hunter was extremely knowledgeable about every single pet and help helped me get the right items for my new bunnies my bunnies love the pellets that I purchased here. They can't wait to eat them every time I feed it to them so I highly recommend this brand. I was here last week. Murrieta Ca. Not one single person asked if I needed help. Few of the guys were throwing a tennis ball ( might've been a dog toy) across and over the aisles. There's some sort of register or work station in the middle of the store (around the live baby chick cages). They stand in a huddle jaw jacking about something and just looked at me as I walked by. What a horrible first impression of this store!!! I won't be returning. I asked the girl at checkout if there were any type of discounts, and she just looked at me dumbfounded. I told her nevermind. I went to Tractor Supply on the advice of an employee at Ace Hardware because they had run out of gas cans, a product that I needed to fill my generator. At Tractor Supply, Dawn greeted me, showed me their stock of gas cans and made numerous helpful recommendations. She was very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. She suggested drops to put in the gas can with the gas to make the gas not deteriorate and last longer. The next day I returned for more gas cans. They were at a reasonable price BTW and Kimber assisted me. Great customer service and these two women had (personal and product) experience and knew what they were talking about! read more

I always like Tractor Supply, however today I picked up multiple 80 pound bags of pellets. There were several men working there today but they had a tiny little lady come out and lift these 80 pound bags into the back of my truck so I got out and helped her, but disgusting Tractor Supply, disgusting do better. Get your lazy men out there, she did an amazing job, but two women shouldn't be throwing the 80 pound bags when you have guys working in the store that was crazy! read more

I like these stores, especially the unique lines of merchandise. I found what I wanted (a men's outdoorsy shirt with big pockets) despite a few out of stocks in the department, tried it on, and Valeria easily and quickly checked me out. The first impression of the store that a person would get when entering is not a good one. There's dead trees on display for sale at the front entrance. Deal leaves and branches hanging, - the visual kind of lowered my expectation of what I'd find inside, but the store proved to be nice. With a new Home Depot nursery right across the parking lot, seems like this store would want to have its best competitive merchandise on display at the entrance instead of dead plants or trees. Unfortunately the negative often outweighs the positive. so I am going to be updating my review and hopes that people really get it together and they work on their customer service at this location. And my previous review I would suggest having that lady provide training and retraining for employees. I came in today with an issue because I did not receive one of the items that I paid for. I think the biggest thing is people stop having an attitude and start listening would be 90% of the problem solved. Had the kid listen to me and what I said to him which was simple to follow. Situation would've been resolved but instead there was action before understanding. So basically it took four people to resolve a simple issue of me receiving my item that I paid for and that they had proof of payment and not cause a scene and a line full of people. So I am just really fed up because this is probably the seventh or eighth time that I've been to this location and six out of eight our bet with awful customer service. The prior experience that I had yelped with the lady at our recall her name was so great that I had hoped they seriously were going to be doing better. So they probably won't even look at these from what I am seeing because when I asked the people I had complimented were even mentioned or had anything brought up to them they had said no. So I think that is the other area that needs to be fixed start looking at your yelp reviews and start listening to your customers read more

Great place to get all kind of supplies almost. They have parts/accessories for your tractor, rv, fencing,... They even have food for your live stock, pets(Dog, cats, ducks, chickens,...).... If I could give this place a zero I would. I come in with my kids so they can look at the ducks and chicks when they have them. I refuse to buy them one because it's not something I can or want to maintain. As we walk in 4/3/25 @ 330 pm, an older male associate stationed right next to where the ducks were was on the phone and says "these people are coming in right now to look at the ducks. I hope they didn't come in here to just buy a cute little duck for their kids for Easter and then....blah blah blah". I know damn well this jerk was talking about me and my kids because, guess what, no one else was around other than another male customer and about 5 mins after us another family, which by then, the comment had already been made, and loud enough for me and my kids to hear it. It was clearly directed at us. I'm sorry, but that's disgusting behavior and terrible customer service. He didn't even ask us if we needed help, just talked crap indirectly. Whoever manages this store should really retrain your associates about appropriate behavior. Maybe don't seek ducks or chicks if you're so worried about who they're going to and for what purpose. read more

The variety of price levels was very helpful and made decisions for purchasing easier . Good service is above average. Kimber was amazing and we are happy customers. She saved the image of the service at Tractor Supply as we had less than a good experience at the Temecula store. Kimber reached out to yet another store in Hemet to help us find the trailer and riding mower we were looking for. Temecula lost out on 5k+ sale. And while Hemet will get the sale because they had it in stock and Murrieta did not, l think Kimber should get the credit for the sale. Kimber definitely deserves all the praise for saving our opinions about Tractor Supply. ALL Temecula store employees could use training from Kimber on how to speak to customers and keep customers. A fraudulent credit card was opened under my name and email under Tractor Supply Co and getting them to help close it continues to be a nightmare. The customer service teams drops calls when transferring to fraud often and when you do finally get through, they want your social right off the bat. After finally speaking with someone in their Fraud department (Tiffany: Case Reference 1053), I was assured that no charges would be made on this account. The very next day I received an email thanking me for making my very first purchase with the Fraudulent credit card. I have since put activated a credit freeze through Equifax, Transunion and Experian because I cannot trust this company to follow up on this. read more

I would most definitely not recommend this store! The customer service is alright. They do have a big selection the value of the store is not good. I went recently to tractor supply in Murrieta and needed to pick up some dog food. When I brought it home and open it up this morning I find that 75% of the dog food was moldy and disgusting. They have little chicks shipped through USPS and they are left in their boxes at the USPS offices overnight without any attention or food/water until staff from tractor supply can pick them up to sell at their store. Came in today from out of town to check this location out. This trip ended quickly due to the attitude from one of the employees. When I was looking at the chicks noticed one was not doing too good so, we told one of the employees he had a man down which I guess irritated the employee to where he slammed the drawer he was looking in and came over to the chicks with an extreme attitude and shaking his head as if we were the bother. Without saying a single word to us, he continued and picked up the dying chick and was flopping him around. Which ruined my experience, so I put my items back and left. Tractor Supply is known all over the country for quality, service, price and wide selection of products. When you find a good TSC store, it is terrific. The TSC in Murrieta, CA is one of those. Great customer service, terrific selections. Need an order delivered? NO PROBLEM, prompt, professional, and courteous. Have a question? They are happy to help. We always enjoy this store. A lot to see. (For people with animals large or small, it's like a toy store) The employees are great. Do yourself a favor given a choice go to this store, STAY AWAY FROM THE LAKE ELSINORE STORE, where the rule of the day is incompetence and lack of caring about the customer. (See my review on that train wreck of a store) The only hinderance we have ever had at this store was NOT the fault of the employees, it was (yet another problem with TSC corporate's failure to upgrade and improve their computer and checkout system. Come on, TSC, we all know you make enough money. Just do it for everyone's sanity. Also, TSC Corporate PLEASE INSTALL DARK WINDOW FILM ON THE WEST FACING WINDOWS ABOVE THE ENTRANCE TO THE MURRIETA STORE! It is blinding to customers and employees, alike in the afternoons. Stopped by during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tractor Supply has a mask policy inside, which is great. But the layout of the store is super cramped with extremely tight aisles, which makes it very difficult to socially distance when you compare it to say Home Depot nearby. The prices and selection inside are really good with some tools cheaper than what I found on Amazon. They sell some specialty garden tools that Home Depot doesn't carry, Corona loppers for instance. They also have a whole section for pets, which I thought was unusual. But the items were high quality with brands such as Kong. I came in for some replacement wagon cart wheels from a wagon I bought here a year prior. It wasn't totally straightforward on getting a part number for a wheel for a wagon they sell, which I thought was odd. But the staff went out of their way to make sure I got the right part. However, when I got home it turned out that this wheel did not actually fit perfectly. I was pretty upset, but a few modifications at home seemed to do the trick. read more

Normally I would Ong Orr this and say no thanks, she was so nice I told her what I was looking for and she linked me up with Dusten, this guy guided me outside to a Whse and showed me other options they had onsite. I love coming here for my chicken food and usually the customer service there is good but I went there Sunday July 14 to buy some chickens and when I walked in and this lady her name is dawn told me " we're bout to close in the next two minutes " and I asked her if could just buy some chickens and she yea it was fine . Once she got to where the chicken where she started to give attitude bout which chicken i was picking because I was trying to decide between getting broilers or the red sex link chickens. I felt rush and uncomfortable because I felt like she could've said to come back the next day instead of hurrying me up while I'm picking chickens . I know a lot of people will say they're just chicken but I just think that if ima buy a chicken it might as well be the one I want . I ended up getting 4 sex links but I wanted to get two broilers too but I felt really uncomfortable I just wanted to leave. I told her I was just going to get chicken feed and she said " okay hurry up". I came back the next day cause I wanted the other two chicken but they ended up selling them all before I got there. I just think dawn should really get trained to be nicer to costumers and not be rude. Every single time, the process took over an hour, there was an unbelievable amount of incompetence from everyone involved, equipment for sale didn't work as it had been left put in the rain, and absolutely no one seemed to have any idea what they were doing. Normally a fan of Tractor Supply but this location has THE WORST customer service which is a bummer because it's much larger than my local one in Hemet which a larger selection of feed but I cannot stand the poor customer service on the floor and at the checkout counter. The most unappealing ugly mannered manager named Tammy at this Murrieta Location I have ever experienced any where! The upmost worst customer service!! First let's start with I was I was a first time ever shopper of Tractor Supply and purchased two items online and pick up at a local Tractor supply store. Which was Lake Elsinore location. I will give credit and give great review to Lake Elsinore location. If the order you pick up from is the Lake Elsinore location they are wonderful people and their customer service is awesome. That's where I was sent first. I picked up one item and they were unfortunately out of stock at the Lake Elsinore location on one of the items I purchased but sent me to a different location. They did in fact call the Murrieta location first to tell them the situation plus made sure it was in stock before I drove to another city. Some great advice If a product is out at the Lake Elsinore location that you bought online DO NOT go to the Murrieta location. Please go someone else! The Murrieta location was suppose to set aside the product I already purchased online. Nope, When I arrived to the other location in Murrieta I was greeted rudely from the jump when I walked in. Tammy ripped the print out that I was suppose to give her upon arrival. Tammy told me I had to purchase another one, she refused to look at my proof of purchase email, yelled at me in front of other customers, belittled me , caused a very loud scene by yelling at me. I tried several times to explain to her I didn't get a cancellation on the product that wasn't in stock at the other store, I was not refunded for this product. I was simply just suppose to pick up the item from that particular location because they had it in stock. She kept telling me it would be too much work on her end that I would have to purchase another bag and I would eventually get an refund for the online order. After being so frustrated and Tammy refusing to just listen to me I asked for a full refund for both products. Be prepared for more attitude from this manager when you ask for a refund. She printed out the refund receipt and I noticed it was another card. It was not my card. It was not the original card number I purchased with. I tried to show her several times with the emails from Tractor Supply with the correct card number, she refused to look or listen to me. I asked if I could have the option of store credit because I didn't feel comfortable signing the refund receipt with a card I did not purchase with or recognize. She told me that I will not get my refund if you don't sign the receipt! I was mortified at this treatment and horrible customer service! She rolled her eyes constantly, sighed and mumbled countless times. She interrupted me constantly when I was trying to plea with her I already purchased the item online. She was so nasty in front of my eight year old daughter who also unfortunately present and had to witness this type of behavior from Tammy. My daughter was very traumatized by this Manager named Tammy at the Murrieta location. She doesn't deserve to represent Tractor Supply. I hope Corporate really looks into this kind of behavior that is supposed to be professional. Tammy the manager most definitely deserves no stars! Still haven't received my refund. read more
