Petsmart is our go to place for self service dog wash! Service can be spotty as the dog groomers are the ones that serve you. Today, the dog wash station was a complete mess. Water everywhere. I still give it a 4 star because there is no wait. You have the whole place to yourselves. The water temperature and pressure is perfect. You don't need shampoo because it's provided but I bring the anti flea shampoo for my dogs. Afterwards, we were able to add nail clipping with the dog groomers without an appointment. I'm very disappointed, I have supported pet smart for years and nothing really makes me upset but this truly infuriates me, I was looking at the bettas and noticed a majority of them were in bad condition. Very dirty cloudy water in almost every cup. 4 of them were dead which I let a worker know. I am sad and disgusted that they are kept like this and they didn't even noticed they were dead. After seeing the dead fish which looked like they had been there for awhile, I checked on the other fish that were SUPER distressed, the fish were glass surfing, some were very lethargic. Some were on their sides just floating there, it truly makes me sad that a corporation this big and claims they are the place for taking care of your animals, can't even take care of their own animals. read more

Before PetSmart introduced us to Chewy, we use to make a bi-weekly trip here. This location is very clean, friendly and well stocked... even though it's somewhat on the smallish size. Over the holidays we ran low on dry food and decided to make a quick stop. We were favorably surprised by the prices. Dog and Cat food was almost the same... as its former online business they spun-off. Nice. Given the similar prices, we will probably shop here more often in the future. read more

I love this store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I went in to buy some fish for my new aquarium that I bought from PetSmart. I've been going to PetSmart for years after having a terrible experience at a competitor and they've always been extremely great. As I'm looking at the tanks, looking for more fish for my new aquarium, I noticed they have tanks of dead fish and fish that are live but struggling I was so disappointed the tanks were dirty also. I snapped a quick photo of one of the aquariums of dead fish. I didn't want any confrontation because I was taking photos. We took our Scooter boy to get groomed at PetSmart in Menifee. They fit us in on a cancellation they had. Vanessa was his groomer. When we picked him up he came out so happy!!! He pranced out looking like a prince. He's an old boy and has been through so much!! To see him so happy and feeling so good meant the world to us! I took my Yorky to get groomed. They did a good job followed my instructions of what I wanted and they are very friendly.

Place says it's open till 7:00 says it closes in 18 minutes right now it's 18 minutes till 7:00 they have the inside door closed I literally called up here about an hour ago and talked to somebody and they said that they were open till 7:00 it's 6:42 and the doors closed. Locked.. Who knows what time they actually closed up. I would have jammed up here an hour ago when I called if they would have told me that they were closing early. Can I have animals at home that are going to go without eating. Because somebody can't stay open till they say that they're going to stay open. So I'll give this place one star. I'd give them less. Not only is it deceptive but it shows that they don't care. Probably why they're sitting right now with three stars hopefully this lowers it down. I came in to buy a floatation vest for my little man Brewski. To my dismay, I could not find one. I asked a sales associate for help. She informed me that the vests had been moved to the storage but that she would be happy to get be one. She indeed did then went back for a different size. After trying the vest on my dog I realized it didn't fit and to to the store embarrassed. But the second shift was just as helpful and went back again and got the correct size. After booking the grooming appointment several days ago and getting the email confirmation that says "don't forget to bring vax records" I went to the vet to get her updated records and they said she needed a Rabies shot. So we got the shot handled and received an updated vax record. When I came in this morning and presented them with the updated Vax record. We proceeded to go through the check in process and were in the lobby for 15 minutes. When it came time to complete the check in list she asked "has you dog been vaxed in the last 48 hours. "Yes it has, you JUST read the vax records a few minutes ago." -me "I'm sorry our policy is that they can't be vaxed within 2-3 days of a grooming appointment" - employee Did it say that when I placed the appointment online? Self dog wash station is always either closed or dirty here. And the girls that work in the grooming station are so unfriendly and act like you're inconveniencing them when asking about it. I never come here because Petco usually has better deals but this time Petsmart had what i needed in store for pick up so i decided to order from Petsmart for pick up so i could get my items TODAY. However, it's been almost 3 hours, i ordered well before store closing and they STILL have not gotten my order ready????? It's 3 small items i do not understand what could be taking so long. I specifically ordered from here so that i could go pick up my stuff today, if i wanted to wait i would have just had the items shipped from Petco which is probably what i will do next time because the wait time for pick up from Petsmart is ridiculous. Took my puppy to have the works. An hour later I get a call to come get her and they were only able to cut half of her because of a sore on her leg! When you examined her there was no sore! My husband, frenchie and I came here so our pup could pick out a toy. My husband thought the toy was on sale so when it ran up regular price he mentioned the sale. The cashier had a vibe that he didn't want to be there and said "I don't know what sales are running" and didn't offer to check for us. So I went to check the price. Turns out it wasn't on sale, my husband must have looked at the wrong label, but that is not how you answer a customer. All of my fish have ich and one has a swim bladder issue. The lady at the store was really nice and I got free shrimps too. I got the fish home and acclimated but a few days later I see white spots... ich. I now have to spend more money on Epsom salts for the swim bladder and even more for the ich meds. I wouldn't get the medications until the 24th of may 2023. It's 5/16/23. They may not make it. I see the fish with swim bladder issues get worse and worse as the day goes on. Now I'm worried that I will come home from school and see a dead fish and an ammonia spike. Will most likely not be coming back Quarantine your fish! read more

PETSMART is not smart. I had a grooming appointment for which I waited weeks to get. I get that - they must be busy. We traumatize our dog for the car ride and the pending experience to be groomed. She's been there many times and does well, so we comforted her and knew she'd look adorable when done. We wait and wait to get in for our appointed time. We wait. A long line is there. Okay - busy. Finally, we enter the salon. I tell them what type of cut and style I want for our little girl. They say "okay, I'll get Israel to come out." Wait. Then out comes the groomer Israel. He checks over our little girl. I tell him what I want in a cut/style. He says she needs special treatments - I say, no, I just want the basic bath and then style we've always had - nothing fancy. Then he says "oh she has some mats - that will take an extra 15 minutes." "What??? No one every said that about her care before! It's always been included." Him: "She needs extra work." "What do you do if we don't pay that?" "We just blow her dry." "That's it?" Yep. Then he said she needs her nails grinded. I said I thought that was included (it always WAS!) No, grinding is different, he says. I ask, finally, "what are you talking about? What is the cost of all this?" It came to $91. $91 !!!! I say, completely shocked!!! "We have NEVER paid that much for her here!" I don't want all the extras. Just a bath and the cut she usually gets. $91 he says. Husband is with me who is now FURIOUS with the PUSHY selling this groomer is doing. Our dog is a miniature dachshund - pretty darned tiny and we have never paid over $50 with extras included - but the usual has been around $40. I tell the groomer that. He doesn't budge. Husband is more angry. Done!!! I told him to keep his high prices and we're done here. We then go to PETCO and schedule her for an appointment there! $48. Period. We'll never go back to PETSMART - ever. read more
