    Quick photo of dead fish

I love this store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I went in to buy some fish for my new aquarium that I bought from PetSmart. I've been going to PetSmart for years after having a terrible experience at a competitor and they've always been extremely great. As I'm looking at the tanks, looking for more fish for my new aquarium, I noticed they have tanks of dead fish and fish that are live but struggling I was so disappointed the tanks were dirty also. I snapped a quick photo of one of the aquariums of dead fish. I didn't want any confrontation because I was taking photos. Needless to say, I'm going back to the other competitor because there's not a lot of places to buy fish for my aquarium .

There is a male groomer that is VERY aggressive with the dogs. I brought my dog to get her sanitary area trimmed and while waiting, I witnessed another dog getting groomed very roughly. And my goodness he is yanking the poor dog every which way, yelling at the poor puppy who is crying .. it was borderline animal abuse!

I think they are great. I've returned things, no problem, and my puppy Bella, started her beginners 6-week training class. The employees are nice and kind and have loads of knowledge about certain items in the store and they take the time to help you out on the floor. Not like other stores that don't do that. I appreciate it a lot. That is one of the reasons we go there. Keep up the good work. Lanie & Bella

I came in to buy a floatation vest for my little man Brewski. To my dismay, I could not find one. I asked a sales associate for help. She informed me that the vests had been moved to the storage but that she would be happy to get be one. She indeed did then went back for a different size. After trying the vest on my dog I realized it didn't fit and to to the store embarrassed. But the second shift was just as helpful and went back again and got the correct size. Thank you Amber,Kristen, Robby, and Todd for providing excellent customer service and helping Brewski learn to swim.

Took my Dog in for a puppy bath. I previously made an appointment a couple days before. My first time taking a pet into a shop. Wasn't what I expected. Staff was very nice, but seemed to be really busy maybe too much so. I was told might be a couple hours or more. Hmm??? Okay? Walked out thinking I made an appointment! ? My first thought was the Grooming Department was Just like waiting at Doctors office. Get in there and wait. Anyways I got a call & text about a hour later saying my puppy was ready to be picked up. I'm Happy with the results! Puppy's happy too! Thank you! We will be back!

Five stars for PetSmart! We've been loyal customers, getting top-notch food and treats for our dog. Our pup loves to visit the store. Huge shoutout to Amanda, the amazing trainer who worked wonders with our puppy Lola. Grooming services are fantastic - impeccable results at a great price. PetSmart is our go-to for all things pet-related!

    Lainey! Rescued pup!

Great place! Mike helped us and was so kind to our little beagle dog. He helped us make the name tag & even grabbed scissors to help us get the color ready. Very friendly & knowledgeable on the items in the store. Thanks mike! We will be back!

Their full vax policy is not included in their email confirmations.
    Dana G.

After booking the grooming appointment several days ago and getting the email confirmation that says "don't forget to bring vax records" I went to the vet to get her updated records and they said she needed a Rabies shot. So we got the shot handled and received an updated vax record. When I came in this morning and presented them with the updated Vax record. We proceeded to go through the check in process and were in the lobby for 15 minutes. When it came time to complete the check in list she asked "has you dog been vaxed in the last 48 hours. "Yes it has, you JUST read the vax records a few minutes ago." -me "I'm sorry our policy is that they can't be vaxed within 2-3 days of a grooming appointment" - employee Did it say that when I placed the appointment online? No. Did is say that in the email confirmation? No. So how am I supposed to know your policy until I am standing in front of you? What a waste of time for a 'policy' that is not available to me.

He weighs about 90lbs and struggles with reactivity (excitement and pulling when he sees other dogs/people) and he did not consistently obey commands (especially "heel"). Elaine was patient, consistent, and very communicative. She took the time to ask us what issues we wanted to focus on, and then was able to come up with a highly effective training on the spot. She was able to get him to follow commands that even surprised us (including getting him to "place" onto a picnic table). And by the end of the session, we walked him around and had zero issues with pulling or reactivity, even when there were dogs and kids nearby. It was impressive to see so much progress in such a short time. Throughout the process, she explained everything she was doing, including the specific steps AND the purpose. She answered ALL of my questions with thoughtful and kind responses. And throughout the whole experience, she was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend her.

Taking her out in public was stressful, she would shake, bark and become very reactive out of fear, which in turn made us anxious too. From the very first call with Manny at Off Leash K9 Training, we knew he was the right fit. He genuinely cared about both our dog and us, and took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions, which gave us so much confidence moving forward. Throughout the training, Manny kept us updated daily with photos and videos, which was incredibly reassuring and exciting to see her progress. After 4 weeks, our Raven girl is truly transformed. She's so much more confident, calm, and equipped with amazing tools and commands that have made a huge difference in her behavior. We are beyond grateful for the care, dedication, and expertise Manny put into working with Raven. We can't thank him enough and are so excited to continue building on everything she's learned. This is just the beginning! Highly recommend!!!

This is the review I have been impatiently waiting to do and I am so stoked to finally be able to…read morewrite it and share this picture of my fur kid, Freyja (the white goofball on the end) Let me just start with... I wish I could give 100 stars! Freyja was a rescue pup that we got as a baby. She was raised with other dogs and did great but as she got a we bit older that was no longer the case. While she LOVES humans, she was not fond of my late Great Dane, she'd have full on dog fights which caused a lot of issues, stress and a bit of ptsd for me. We had to section off areas so they would never cross paths. Fast forward 6 months, we get a puppy thinking since 1- he's a boy & 2- a sweet baby she should be okay and they will eventually be friends. That was NOT the case. She tried to maul him the first time she met him. That was quite devastating for us to say the least and the thought of rehoming the pup or giving up on her was not an option so, this is when we get ahold of Caleb. We signed her up for board and train and while waiting for her turn we did socializations and some one on one training with both her and the pup she dislikes so much. Two weeks ago we dropped her off for her stay. Over the two weeks Caleb worked with Freyja and our boy Finn. Freyja made new doggo friends, which is huge in its self while learning all the other great things she needed to learn. Today, Caleb brought her home, he walked her in to the house with my boy Finn, one on either side of him. My heart sank and smiled all at the same time. I never imagined her being okay with being that close to him with out trying to attack him. While we still have plenty of work and fine tuning to do. I am so happy and great full for the difference Caleb has made in our girl Freyja. I am so thankful. ------------------- Now for the boring stuff... LOL Cost was average for the area. I had researched a handful everywhere between here and San Diego. Communication was fantastic! Angela is on it! She is super helpful and friendly. Caleb would shoot me super cute videos, which I loved getting and loved sharing her progress with my friends. Caleb was referred by a rescue friend so, I already trusted he was a good guy, but he genuinely is great, knowledgeable and both he & Angela truly care about the doggos they care for / train. -------------- Lastly... this picture says it all.... I have been waiting for this from day one after I started following the Dogs gone Sane IG. I am SO HAPPY to have received it. My Freyja with her friends.

Breaking my ankle recently escalated the problems. I could see the need for assistance in the near future. Began searching for obtaining a mobility service dog. Only a few agencies in Calif. train dogs for this disability and their wait list for starting the program was upwards of 4 years. I was planning to use my 2 yr old Black Lab. Since I had "hit dead-ends" in my search, I decided to at least look for some obedience training for the dog. After interviewing several trainers in my area, I found Erin to be my choice. I met with her to discuss the training and discovered that she had experience in training mobility service dogs! She was a bit hesitant to commit to the training and wanted to evaluate my dog to see if she had the right temperament...it seemed that she did! I signed up for the 3 week board and train program, with the understanding that basic obedience was would be addressed as well as introducing some service dog training to see how the dog performed. My dog seemed to be a good candidate for becoming a mobility service dog. We have continued with the training taking part in classes, private sessions, and another 2 week board and train session. Erin has helped me pick out equipment, met me in public places to train, and we have passed the CGC and PAT tests. Lots more training to do, but Dynamite Dogs has us on the right track! Don't Believe the False Facebook Posts - Epic Dog Academy Is the Real Deal…read more I need to share my experience because there's a lot of misinformation going around about Epic Dog Academy. If you've seen those Facebook posts linking them to animal abuse - please, don't believe them. I fell for those rumors myself at first, and I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake. I had signed my dog, Obi-Wan, up for the two-week training program and was so excited. But right after I told a friend, she sent me a Facebook group filled with terrible claims about EDA. I panicked and immediately called to cancel. Vincent, the owner, was incredibly understanding and patient. He explained that all those claims were false and even showed me proof - including records exposing the people behind the posts as having serious legal and credibility issues, but even though I already paid and signed all the paperwork - he still immediately refunded me my payment to give me time to do additional research. This is something he could have pushed back on but didn't, which really showed me what a kind and understanding business this was. Even so, I made sure to do my own research before forming any opinions. What I found was truly alarming: the main individual behind that Facebook group has a documented history of serious issues, including animal cruelty charges (all public record). His daughter once briefly worked with Vince - the owner of Epic Dog Academy - many years ago at a completely separate business. Shortly after, Vince left to establish Epic Dog Academy with his wife, Olivia. To be clear, the two individuals who now run that Facebook group have no real connection to Epic Dog Academy. The false claims they're spreading about the owner are completely unfounded and unsupported by any evidence, plus most of the negative comments appear to come from people associated with them. Once I realized the truth, I re-enrolled Obi-Wan - this time in their day training program. I drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon. It gave me total peace of mind to see him daily, and I can confidently say that not only is he perfectly fine - he's thriving. The results have been beyond my expectations. Obi-Wan listens better than ever, he's happier, and he actually gets excited to go every morning. Erin, his trainer, is absolutely phenomenal. She's patient, knowledgeable, and keeps me updated every day with photos and progress reports through their app. Christy at the front desk is another gem - her warmth and understanding make every drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Every single person I've interacted with at Epic Dog Academy truly loves what they do, and it shows. They treat every dog like their own. I can say with complete confidence that my dog is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible training here. Please do yourself a favor - don't let false online rumors stop you from giving EDA a chance. Check things out for yourself. I'm so glad I did, because Epic Dog Academy has completely transformed my dog's behavior and confidence. It's been worth every single penny (and I signed up for the Honor program!) I have given EDA permission to share my number with anyone who is hesitant to sign up. I'd be happy to share my experience with you if needed. -- Pictures of Obi-Wan were sent to me through the EDA app during his day training!

I appreciated that Farren didn't push an expensive board and train--she assessed Hooper personally and offered private sessions that fit my budget. After just one session, I already saw progress. Over five sessions, both Hooper and I were trained--because we all know training the human is just as important! A month later, I adopted another dog, Bodie, and brought both pups to Farren's daycare to continue Hooper's socialization. We also did additional public training sessions, which were incredibly helpful. Hooper is now more confident and manageable! Farren has also been working directly with Bodie, helping him learn basic obedience and improve his behavior--especially with things like staying safely in the car instead of bolting into the street. Her facility is clean, organized, and I fully trust leaving my dogs in her care. I highly recommend Board N Behave for training, daycare, and/or boarding!
