We enrolled our 5-year-old Lab/Australian Cattle Dog mix rescue in training because she struggled with severe anxiety and insecurity. Taking her out in public was stressful, she would shake, bark and become very reactive out of fear, which in turn made us anxious too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the very first call with Manny at Off Leash K9 Training, we knew he was the right fit. He genuinely cared about both our dog and us, and took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions, which gave us so much confidence moving forward.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Throughout the training, Manny kept us updated daily with photos and videos, which was incredibly reassuring and exciting to see her progress.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After 4 weeks, our Raven girl is truly transformed. She's so much more confident, calm, and equipped with amazing tools and commands that have made a huge difference in her behavior. We are beyond grateful for the care, dedication, and expertise Manny put into working with Raven. We can't thank him enough and are so excited to continue building on everything she's learned. We recently completed a 3-week board and train program with Manny at Off Leash K9, and we couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From day one, Manny showed incredible patience and dedication--not just to our dog, but to us as owners.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our girl got a little homesick at the beginning, and Manny truly went above and beyond to help her adjust. He made her homemade food, and even personally picked her up and dropped her off for a few days to ease the transition. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he trains and treats them like his own.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]At pickup, Manny spent over two hours with us, making sure we understood the training, answered all our questions, and helped us feel confident continuing the work at home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He also offers refresher sessions, which we really appreciate--and we absolutely plan to keep working with him. We're so excited to have our dog home with us and, more importantly, to have the tools and training to take her places and help her succeed around distractions. Thank you, Manny!
[[HIGHLIGHT]]I can't express the gratitude I have for OFF LEASH and trainer Manny.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We adopted a 14 month Husky from a shelter got him home and he turned out to be very possessive and aggressive and had bitten my husband, both of my sons and myself. We were 1 day from returning Timber to the shelter where I was told he would be euthanized due to his bites. We picked him up from Manny a few days ago and all I can say was WOW!! Manny truly saved me and Hank's quality of life. Hank just lost his best friend to cancer and was struggling with grief. He was also trying to adjust to giant move from the Bay Area to SD. He was being attacked by so many dogs due to his size that he was becoming reactive. His reactive behaviors were becoming more and more difficult for me to anticipate and control. He was afraid of every dog and person. After I injured my shoulder from Hank lunging at a dog while I held onto his leash I knew I needed help. I really knew that Hank needed me to get help for us. Manny came HIGHLY recommended by many of my friends in our Bernese Mountain Dog Club. Hank went off to boot camp for three weeks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I picked him up - Manny taught me how to be more confident and clear with Hank.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hank was more confident and knew the expectations. I had so much tension built up in my body from all the stress that when I finally brought Hank home and saw how much we could trust each other- I felt so much better! It was all because of Manny and his training! Manny knows how to build confidence in you and his expertise is out of this world. Hank goes regularly for boarding when I need to be out of town. Hank loses his mind with excitement when it's time to go see Manny. I cannot thank Manny enough. Hank and I can go to public places and enjoy our time! Our trainer was Gabija for our 5 month old black lab. Our lab spent 2 weeks with Gabija working on command goals and confidence. Our lab was jumping on the table grabbing food, taking the kids toys, was super shy to potty on walks, and jumping on people excitedly, even strangers on walks. All in all, she learned all the basic commands using an e-collar and we've only had her back for 2 days but we've seen a huge improvement in her behavior and confidence to potty on walks. We've hardly had to use the e-collar because after she hears the command she complies. [[HIGHLIGHT]]During the 2 weeks Gabija sent us a daily report of how our lab was going, what she was exposed to and learning, along with videos and photos which we looked forward to as a family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She was really great with our dog and she has learned a lot of what was advertised. We recommended Gabija to our friends already! Cons: cost of 2 week program is expensive and the drive to drop off the dog and pick her up were time consuming, and hour and a half one way. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For the price should have to option to meet at a local park where the customer/dog owner lives.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plan for pick to potentially be close to 5 hours... driving round trip 3 hours plus 2 hour training to go over the commands.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wish the customer would have options for the drop off/pick up considering the program cost.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We had an incredible experience with Off Leash K9 training! Our 10-month-old Goldendoodle, Tiffany, stayed with the trainer Alex for two weeks, and the transformation has been amazing. It's like we got a completely new dog! Tiffany is now much more obedient, follows commands easily, barks much less, and is overall gentler and calmer. Alex maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process, keeping us updated with Tiffany's progress, and even sending photos and videos. On the day we picked up Tiffany, Alex took a time with quality to explain the entire process to us, providing clear guidance on how to continue the training and use the commands at home. We are beyond happy and grateful. Alex, you were phenomenal!
At first I think most people don't want or know how to be consistent and hold their dog accountable. We don't know what that means. I didn't I've never had a trained dog. I never had too, but honestly it was the best money Ive ever spent. You guys taught me what my dog breed needs. When I finally understood that, (thanks for your patience with me) I've learned so much from you guys. I learned how to holding her accountable and be consistent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Thank you all so much!! Having our 1 year old Vizsla work with Elaine for Off Leash K9 Training was really the best thing we could do for her! She had so much energy and we didn't fully know how to direct it and teach her more than just the basics. Elaine was able to build confidence in our dog as well as in us as her owners. She now is a fully off leash dog who loves to "work" and has the ability to place, touch, heel, go through, sit and down at a distance and sit and down while in motion. Truly wonderful. We did the 3 week board and train program and I would recommend it and Elaine as at trainer to anyone.
We booked a 3 week reactive dog boarding with Manny for our Pomeranian-Husky Forest. We had problems with him being a little reactive to some people and dogs when going to public places or had visitors/visiting family. We noticed he would get overwhelmed when so much activity was happening and had a harder time staying calm. We also struggled with recall with him. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Manny was very communicative when it came to answering all our questions and concerns prior to boarding and the use of e-collar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He was also telling us what he would work with him when dropping off and gave us clear instructions after pick-up![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Throughout boarding he gave us updates of how Forest was doing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have attached a small snippet of how Forest now heels during walks! He would always pull me and never walk beside me. We are very happy with the work Manny has done and the confidence he has given Forest while he was him! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even after boarding Manny has stayed responsive with answering additional training questions![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He made sure we were comfortable before taking Forest home with the training and how to use the ecollar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you Manny!
I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience with Manny at Off Leash K-9 Training. I was pretty defeated and felt completely hopeless by the time I found Manny. I had just met with another trainer a month or so prior that told me I should put my pitbull down, to say I was devastated was an under statement. I decided I'd get a second opinion and if the next trainer told me he's a lost cause then maybe I should accept the fact that he's a hazard and a liability to not only my family but others as well. I told Manny our 7 year old Pitbulls entire history as well as what the other trainer told us and he was all in on training him. He was willing to chat with me almost immediately and his confidence, knowledge and energy made me feel so comfortable. I knew after our first chat that he was the guy for our pup. Our pitbull has a history of being reactive towards other dogs, had lunged at children on bikes and had been in a couple attacks both initiated by him and not and so I was sure what to expect when I sent him off for the 3 week training. Manny went above and beyond and kept us updated either through text or by phone call the entire time. I received a call about 5-7 days in and he told me our dog had redirected which meant he was in such a heightened state of anxiety that he redirected his energy to Manny and at the point I said "do you need me to come get him" and Manny assured me that he can help our dog work through whatever it is that is making him react in such a way. I almost cried because someone finally gave me hope that our dog could get the help he truly needed. Now we walk our dog out in public around dogs, people and children in high traffic areas and he's so calm and focus on us. It's like he's a whole new dog. Manny helped him find his confidence and since then we've been keeping up with the exposure and training. It's been almost a month now and our dog seems so much more comfortable in his own skin and he's always smiling and happy. I cannot recommend Manny from off leash training more!! I have told so many about how amazing our experience has been and will continue to do so. The transformation we've experienced with our dog is out of this world. You will not regret your decision if you choose to go with Manny or Off Leash K9 Training in general. Their trainers are highly trained and skilled at what they do.
Chantel's three-week training with our 8 month old Doberman, Drogo, was exceptional. Her dedication and love for her work have brought out the best in Drogo, for which we're deeply grateful. He's maintained all the training, showing remarkable obedience, especially on walks and with close-range commands. We're working on reinforcing his training, particularly his distance stability, and appreciate Chantel's efforts in this transformative journey. We admire Chantel's ability to connect deeply with our pup and the heartfelt commitment to their training and well-being. 21 days is a long separation period from our best friend. We missed our dog dearly and were eager to follow along daily with Drogo's progress in the form of daily updates, photos and videos. The frequency and quality of these updates did not meet our expectations so we are deducting a 0.5 star and recommend more frequent photo and video updates during the training period. But hey, nobody's perfect We highly recommend Chantel for her outstanding skills and dedication.

My dog had become increasingly reactive and overprotective after a traumatic experience as a puppy, making it challenging to take him to public places or have him around other dogs, especially off-leash. His leash-pulling habits were also driving me up the wall. But, after 21 days at Chantel's boot camp, our lives have changed dramatically for the better Chantel took on the challenge with determination and expertise, and the results speak for themselves.It's been two months since we ended training, and he has gone from a dog that could barely contain his excitement and reactivity to one that keeps his attention on me with a steady focus (and excitement). One of the most incredible aspects of Chantel's training was how she addressed my dog's reactivity. She clearly understands the nuances of dog behavior and implemented strategies that worked wonders for my pup. The transformation in his demeanor is truly astounding. I can now confidently take him to public places, even when other dogs are around, without fearing any aggressive reactions. This was something I could only dream of before Chantel's help. Additionally, his leash-pulling habits, which had become a real headache for me, are now a thing of the past. Chantel worked diligently on his leash manners, and it's a night-and-day difference. Walking my dog has gone from being a tugging battle to a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I can't thank her enough for that. What truly sets Chantel apart is her genuine love and dedication to her work. My dog adored her, and that's a testament to the wonderful relationship she built with him during his time at the boot camp. Her passion for dogs and her ability to connect with them is apparent, and it made all the difference in the world. Since bringing my dog home from the boot camp, we have continued to implement the training Chantel provided, and the positive changes have endured. I am now able to enjoy outdoor playtime with him off-leash every-day, a luxury I thought was out of reach just a few months ago. In summary, I can't recommend Chantel Chavez enough. Her expertise, commitment, and love for dogs have transformed my once-reactive and overprotective pitbull into a calm and well-behaved companion. Chantel's training methods truly work, and I'm so grateful for the positive impact she has had on our lives. If you're seeking a dog trainer who can work wonders, look no further than Chantel. She's a true professional who genuinely cares about the well-being of your furry family member.

We enrolled our 1-year-old German Shepherd, Forrest, in Off Leash K9's 2-week Board & Train On-Leash Program, and we could not be happier with the results! Before training, Forrest was a very playful and excitable pup who struggled with focus and discipline. He was easily distracted, didn't consistently follow commands, and had trouble behaving appropriately around children and other dogs. After spending two weeks with Elaine, our amazing trainer, Forrest came home a completely transformed dog! He's now obedient, focused, and confident -- even in high-distraction environments like parks and public places. He mastered six core commands and continues to respond beautifully to them at home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Elaine truly is a "dog whisperer." We just got our 2-year-old pup back from Manny after a 3-week reactive board and train, and we're beyond thrilled with the results! Our boy Parker was full of energy and needed help with general obedience and with leash reactivity. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Manny was incredible throughout the entire process. Having our 1 year old Vizsla work with Elaine for Off Leash K9 Training was really the best thing we could do for her! She had so much energy and we didn't fully know how to direct it and teach her more than just the basics. Elaine was able to build confidence in our dog as well as in us as her owners. She now is a fully off leash dog who loves to "work" and has the ability to place, touch, heel, go through, sit and down at a distance and sit and down while in motion. Truly wonderful. We did the 3 week board and train program and I would recommend it and Elaine as at trainer to anyone. read more

We booked a 3 week reactive dog boarding with Manny for our Pomeranian-Husky Forest. We had problems with him being a little reactive to some people and dogs when going to public places or had visitors/visiting family. We noticed he would get overwhelmed when so much activity was happening and had a harder time staying calm. We also struggled with recall with him. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Manny was very communicative when it came to answering all our questions and concerns prior to boarding and the use of e-collar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He was also telling us what he would work with him when dropping off and gave us clear instructions after pick-up![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Throughout boarding he gave us updates of how Forest was doing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have attached a small snippet of how Forest now heels during walks! He would always pull me and never walk beside me. We are very happy with the work Manny has done and the confidence he has given Forest while he was him! I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience with Manny at Off Leash K-9 Training. I was pretty defeated and felt completely hopeless by the time I found Manny. I had just met with another trainer a month or so prior that told me I should put my pitbull down, to say I was devastated was an under statement. I decided I'd get a second opinion and if the next trainer told me he's a lost cause then maybe I should accept the fact that he's a hazard and a liability to not only my family but others as well. I told Manny our 7 year old Pitbulls entire history as well as what the other trainer told us and he was all in on training him. He was willing to chat with me almost immediately and his confidence, knowledge and energy made me feel so comfortable. I knew after our first chat that he was the guy for our pup. Our pitbull has a history of being reactive towards other dogs, had lunged at children on bikes and had been in a couple attacks both initiated by him and not and so I was sure what to expect when I sent him off for the 3 week training. Manny went above and beyond and kept us updated either through text or by phone call the entire time. I received a call about 5-7 days in and he told me our dog had redirected which meant he was in such a heightened state of anxiety that he redirected his energy to Manny and at the point I said "do you need me to come get him" and Manny assured me that he can help our dog work through whatever it is that is making him react in such a way. I almost cried because someone finally gave me hope that our dog could get the help he truly needed. Now we walk our dog out in public around dogs, people and children in high traffic areas and he's so calm and focus on us. It's like he's a whole new dog. Manny helped him find his confidence and since then we've been keeping up with the exposure and training. It's been almost a month now and our dog seems so much more comfortable in his own skin and he's always smiling and happy. I cannot recommend Manny from off leash training more!! I have told so many about how amazing our experience has been and will continue to do so. The transformation we've experienced with our dog is out of this world. You will not regret your decision if you choose to go with Manny or Off Leash K9 Training in general. Their trainers are highly trained and skilled at what they do. read more

Chantel's three-week training with our 8 month old Doberman, Drogo, was exceptional. Her dedication and love for her work have brought out the best in Drogo, for which we're deeply grateful. He's maintained all the training, showing remarkable obedience, especially on walks and with close-range commands. We're working on reinforcing his training, particularly his distance stability, and appreciate Chantel's efforts in this transformative journey. We admire Chantel's ability to connect deeply with our pup and the heartfelt commitment to their training and well-being. 21 days is a long separation period from our best friend. We missed our dog dearly and were eager to follow along daily with Drogo's progress in the form of daily updates, photos and videos. The frequency and quality of these updates did not meet our expectations so we are deducting a 0.5 star and recommend more frequent photo and video updates during the training period. Title: Exceptional Transformation Thanks to Chantel Chavez I can't express enough how thankful I am for the remarkable work Chantel Chavez did with my 1.5-year-old pitbull. My dog had become increasingly reactive and overprotective after a traumatic experience as a puppy, making it challenging to take him to public places or have him around other dogs, especially off-leash. His leash-pulling habits were also driving me up the wall. But, after 21 days at Chantel's boot camp, our lives have changed dramatically for the better Chantel took on the challenge with determination and expertise, and the results speak for themselves.It's been two months since we ended training, and he has gone from a dog that could barely contain his excitement and reactivity to one that keeps his attention on me with a steady focus (and excitement). Best decision we ever made with our sweet boy! Waylon is a super sweet boy but had a lot to work on. He was counter surfing, posturing other dogs, showing aggression toward people in and outside of our home, not listening to commands and overall just had no real structure. We were struggling to keep up with his high energy because we couldn't take him anywhere without anxiety due to his behavioral problems. We hired Manny as our trainer after I had seen some of the work he's done around our neighborhood with other dogs and I am so glad we made this decision! His training far exceeded all of our expectations. The moment we picked Waylon up was a night and day difference. He now is structured, didn't jump, so obedient to everything Manny has worked on with him and quickly realized that the training will be transferring to our home environment as well. Upon pickup, we were walked through all of the training, working commands and distractions with Waylon and learning how the e-collar works coinciding with verbal and visual cues. We love that everything is trained on positive reinforcement and timing. Our 8 month German Shorthaired Pointer, Milo, was full of energy and hard to control. We dreamt of taking him on hikes and playing with him. Unfortunately, his strength and energy was too much for us. We couldn't walk him without him pulling us, to the point of it becoming unsafe. Thankfully, we found Off Leash K9 Training. We put our trust in Jayme and left our boy with her for two weeks. We received nightly updates on his training along with videos of what he was learning. We were amazed at how much she was able to do just by day three! We've had Milo home for a full day now! Jayme showed us how to work with him and how to reinforce his training. He is the dog we dreamed of. He listens. He's playful. He no longer jumps on counters or people, if he tries, we quickly correct him and he immediately stops. Jayme is a miracle worker! I have a one year old Husky. He is loving, loyal and smart. But he's a Husky! very willful. Not a bad dog but hard to train and get him to mind me. I felt overwhelmed and started to question if he was too much for me to handle. I thought about getting professional help. Off Leash K9 Training was highly acclaimed with an excellent reputation but at a substantial cost. I was paired with my trainer, Pam who not only lived close but also had two Huskies of her own. I signed up for the 2 week board and train. It would be the longest I waa separated from my dog since I got him at 8 weeks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pam was wonderful! I can't recommend this place more than enough! Our trainer Manny was amazing with our 10 month Doberman. Our Doberman was extremely hyper and our at home training was not enough to get him to stop jumping or pulling when walking. We contacted him and after three weeks we have our buddy home and are able to incorporate him in everything we do now. We specified the things we wanted the trainer to work on and exceeded every expectation. This experience was a 10/10 read more

Highly recommend! Adora is the best! We have an American Bully who was very aggressive towards other animals and impossible to take anywhere. He would pull on his leash and made going out a nightmare. We signed him up for the 14 day urban. Adora was very responsive, provided daily updates and included pictures and videos to help ease my anxiety of not having him home. He came back 100x better. He obeys commands and doesn't pull on his leash anymore. read more

My 1 year old pup, Bumi, spent 3-weeks with Scott and the results could not have been better! I sent him off as a dog who pulled on the leash, was easily distracted, hardly listened to commands, and had a tendency to nip and jump on people. After the 3-weeks, he came back a completely different dog. He is attentive, trust-worthy, and listens when spoken to. I can now take him to busy public parks off-leash and know that he will be at my side and if I allow him to play, he knows to return when called. Obviously, after the training, the owner does shoulder the responsibility to maintain the training and, if you do, you will be extremely happy with the results! But now Bumi sits, lays down, heels at my side and waits to be called when eating, walking through open doors, getting into the car, and carries all of these skills wherever we are! Plus, Scott made it very easy to pick up the commands he taught Bumi. He also posted awesome videos and pictures of Bumi's progress while he was training my pup! read more

Wow !!!!! Definitely the word i used today, when picking up, my 18month old pup Fernando, after his two week board & train stay with trainer Jayme. The transformation was incredible, jayme listened To all the concerns we had with Fernando & delivered, we simply didn't have a dog who was enjoyable to walk, he would pull me off my feet, lunge out to passing walkers or other dogs. Instantly i could see the difference ( in Fernando's pride & confidence) Jayme took the time to diligently go over all of the commands & explain the reasons for them. Can not speak highly enough of off leash K9 training and especially our trainer Alex ! Let me tell you we have spent MONEYYY and so much time working with other trainers and classes and video etc. from the time our dog was a puppy. At 3 years old now he was almost hit by a car after running into the street. So my boyfriend and I decided it was time to look for a solution again. We found K9 training on YouTube watching before and after videos of our dogs same breed WPG which we rarely found anywhere else. So happy we did!!! While we were sad to part with him for three weeks we wanted the top dog package to cover everything we needed. Recall, reactivity, heel, all basic and the more advanced commands in urban and other areas. Alex was the best she sent us the most in depth updates EVERY night along with the cutest photos or videos of our pup. We joked that it seemed like our pup was sending his vacay pics to his parents because he was living it up training at balboa park, sea port village, the mall, old town. Needless to say we knew he was being loved and cared for and of-course being taught everything. When we got our final before and after video we were in shock I did not believe it was the same dog he did so well! For pick up Alex took us through all the commands and guided us as we went through using the e-collar with our pup. She was with us for almost three hours going through everything and answer Ming my millions of questions with so much care and enthusiasm. We are now in the works of continuing the training at home but I am confident that if we should need any help or support Alex would give us any tips we need. Highly recommend. I won't lie the price is a lot but you can make payments with no interest and you will probably end up paying more in the long run in other trainings that don't work or vet bills. We are So incredibly happy with our 2 week training with Jennifer Pinder!! Our dog Winston knew all of his basic commands only when he was in the mood, and had zero self control when there were other dogs, birds, ppl on wheels, etc. as soon as we picked up, Winston, it was apparent he absolutely loved his training and his trainer. He was eager to show us everything he learned. We were so impressed with Jennifer's ability to train him on how to properly walk without dragging me, how to maintain impulse control with longevity- even if there are high distractions (dogs, ppl, bikes, birds, etc). Previous to training he would listen to a command and try to decide if he was in the mood to comply- now he is laser fast and loves to listen! Prior to drop off Jennifer was so thorough with what to expect and how everything works. She also spent time going through everything Winston was trained on, and how to maintain his good behavior. I had a great experience working with Many. He took my dog Frida for training two weeks. He was from the start extremely professional and communicative. He walked me through what the process would be like, always asked me if I had any questions and made sure I understood everything. When I dropped off Frida he took the time to ask about her, get to know her and I never felt rushed. He gave me daily check-ins along with pictures. You can tell he loves what he does, he is extremely patient and loving with dogs and genuinely cares about their well-being. I felt complete trust when my dog was in his care. When she returned I was extremely impressed with the progress he was able to achieve. In our case Frida needed correction in not lunging at other dogs and following commands easily. She came back very relaxed an obedient, however when I got home as Many mentioned would happen she started acting up. I got quick responses from my doubts on how to maneuver the situation. Many took the time to keep calling and checking in to see her progress. That was a game changer for and reaffirmed my experience, the fact that even after she returned there is continuation. We've just picked up our 1 year old Australian cattle dog from Manny today (Her name is Ruka) This is our SECOND time being completely happy and satisfied with the work that Manny does! I was skeptical about sending our first one (his name is Linux- they are literal siblings!) but after seeing what manny did for my cousin's 3 Cane Corso's and a Doberman.. we decided to send Linux to Manny as well. Linux has been THE BEST dog my wife and I have ever experienced ever since he spent 3 weeks with Manny. And lo and behold we now have TWO perfect dogs. Not only are the results more than what we expected but Manny as a person is awesome as well. Very easy to talk to, GREAT tips for when your pups try to test you/slack off. You can also tell Manny's heart is in the right spot to help the people as well as the pets. I hope Manny along with all of OLK9 keeps the ball rolling and business continues to grow. It's been about 3 months since we picked up our then 6 month old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois pup from Megan with Off Leash K9. We chose the 2 week urban board and train program for our girl, Harlowe, and it has hands down been the best training investment we could have imagined. Before we took Harlowe to Megan, it was difficult to take Harlowe on short walks, she was quickly getting ideas of her own and totally ignored us on the other end of the leash. Harlowe would get the zOOmies on leash and she was increasingly becoming dog reactive. It was almost to the point where even short walks were more stressful than enjoyable. During Harlowe's 2 week board and train Megan kept us in the loop with nightly updates including photos and videos. The updates kept us sane from missing our girl and we loved to see the progress she was making. On the day of pick up we spent a few hours with Megan learning how to use the e-collar remote and all of Harlowe's new commands. Megan warned us Harlowe would test our commands and she was spot on about that. It's taken consistent training at home with us and Harlowe to have full confidence in the amazing training Megan accomplished in just a short two weeks. Now we can actually enjoy walks, runs, outings to pet friendly stores and restaurants and visiting friends and family at home. We get so many compliments on how well behaved Harlowe is but when people realize Harlowe is off leash they are absolutely stunned. We had the best experience with Megan and her training is top notch. I recommend Megan to anyone with any size or breed of dog! read more

I called for a consult and was able to schedule for my dog Goji for the two week board and train urban program within the week. Natalie was very helpful with providing a recommendation with what program my dog should attend. My dog is an adorable small 3 year old 15lbs rat terrier chihuahua mix. In my opinion, we trained him well on our own and did the best we could using positive reinforcement and holistic methods. With his three years under us, we still struggled to take him out in public with us outside of our neighborhood because he had very high excitement and would lack much attention for us as his owners and his handlers. He would lunge and pull and choke himself out, it was stressful to take him anywhere. Even in our own neighborhood he had pulled a lot and- boy are small dogs a lot stronger than they look lol. Thanks to Pam in Costa Mesa area, as well as Off Leas K9, he's now incredible to take out in public and no longer has any issues. We don't even really need to set his e collar to anything about a 4/100 most of the time! The training videos and after training at pickup were extremely helpful too. We also received extensive daily updates and many photos and videos throughout the entire two week. I really think Off Leash's methods are wonderful and are in no way any sort of abuse- for any skeptics out there! read more

I can't say enough about how amazing this process was. Nala is my 2 year old pitmix and before training it was very hard to get her to listen or stop pulling me on the leash. She's the best girl, but definitely needed some structure in her life that I didn't know how to communicate with her. Manny did such an amazing job! Seeing her for the first time after the 2 weeks was so amazing, she was a changed,educated girl! I love it. Manny went above and beyond. He made sure to give updates every night and I loved getting her pictures and videos. The pick up was so smooth, he made sure I got all my questiones answered, went over everything she's learned and went over it together until I felt confident that I can continue doing it myself. Nathalie did such an amazing job with our husky. I had stopped taking him on walks with our other dogs, because he went berserk when other dogs would walk by. He had managed to slip collars twice and knock me down several times. My husband would take him out, but I wanted to be able to feel safe to do that again. Nathalie has made it possible to take Taro on walks again, to the playground, and stores. I feel relaxed and comfortable when doing so. He is a smart, loving dog, but can be very willful and stubborn. Being able to do numerous activities with him has given all of us a better quality of life without fear of safety. It is certainly an investment, but with continued training and practice at home, it will last a lifetime. read more

We took both my 8 year old Siberian Husky and my 3 year old English bulldog, we just got back my Husky Goliath, and boy he is transformed. Keep in mind Goliath is 8 years old so he had bad habits all his life and on top of that he is a husky. We brought him in to training because he would pull on his leash so bad, he would whine as if we were hurting him when we tried training him ourselves, he would escape and bolt as soon as he had the chance, he was also very reactive to other dogs and would bark. We did the 2 week onboarding program for him, and it's like night and day. He now comes when he is called upon( which never ever happened before). He follows all commands and most importantly he is much more calm when in public. Not only does he lay down when commanded too, when I take him in to the store he lays down and is relaxed almost sleeping as if no one around him existed. At Petco where there are other pets he listens to me and completely ignores everything else around him. We just recently just got Goliath back and it was the best decision/investment I have ever done in my life. I can finally take him everywhere with us without the pressure and embarrassment we would go through before. We are excited for the quality of life he is now going to have. And lastly I wanted to thank Alexandra Ortiz(Alex) in Chula Vista, CA for everything she did for Goliath, she nailed it with him. Literally feels like a miracle the way Goliath is now. Just finished the 2 week board and train with my 2.5 year old lab Hazel. Initially I was nervous that she may be less receptive to the training because she's older than when you're "supposed" to have a dog trained. My trainer was Jessica Herrera in San Diego and she was awesome!! She sent daily updates of Hazel and their progress. She took some of the best pictures that hazel has ever had taken, and I could tell she really cared about hazel. She was available all times during the day to answer any questions I had during the two weeks. Before training hazel knew a few basic commands but I struggled to have her recall and sometimes she would just ignore commands if she wasn't motivated by a treat. After training she listens off-leash and I'm able to communicate with her effectively through the ecollar. We've gone on walks daily, OFFLEASH, and even to a few restaurants where I can place her in a spot near us and have her hang out while eating. We've gotten so many compliments on how well trained hazel is! This training has given both me and hazel the confidence to walk through my neighborhood Offleash and around tons of distractions. I was nervous leaving my dog for 14 days as I have never been away from her that long and my dog is a nervous nelly herself. I 100% recommend using Megan as your trainer. I promise she won't disappoint. On pick up day, I was instructed and informed on how to utilize the ecollar and how to enforce commands at home to ensure my pup is continuing to perform what she learned.
