We've always had a house/dog sitter. Our very short list got down to one and he travels almost as much as we do. So we needed an alternative. Back in March of this year, I had submitted an email inquiry to see about boarding my dog for a couple of out-of-town dates I had coming up. I received no reply, so I texted the number listed on the website/yelp and the next day got a response from Megan asking for the dates of my trips and giving me availabilities for a meet & greet. I replied right away with those dates, as well as a date for a meet & greet, and never heard back. Meagan is so great! Her communication is quick and thorough and personable, the online client system setup is so convenient and easy to use, and most importantly our corgi had a great time! One time we left our dog at another place and when I picked her up she cried the whole day and wouldn't leave my side, but with Meagan it was clear she loved her. I had the worst experience abd should of listened to my gut instinct on leaving my fur baby. She Megan was welcoming or friendly, she never once texted me through the day I had to do the checking on my dog, she never went over and beyond to calm my poor baby her treats were never given I got no peace of mind that she was ok, the lady didn't make me feel comfortable or reassured my bd y was ok. I ended up going to pick up my fur baby a few hours later because I was just not ok and this lady never made me feel on or welcomed! Her website I feel is misleading it was a house not a lodge I never even was welcomed to see inside or where my baby would be kept for. I still ended up paying her for a crappy of a experience. So it's taken me a while to write this review because of life but Megan is amazing. I've never had to leave my pup anywhere for a couple days so I was nervous and she was able to explain everything to me. We did a visit and learned the ropes. And she kept in constant communication the entire time along with pictures. My parents have left their dog at boarding places and they always have horror stories about how they either have to pay extra for shots or come pick up the dog. This was not the case. Meagan is amazing and extremely professional! I would recommend her to anyone. Meagan takes the time to explain how she works with the dogs and how she cares for them. Meagan is extremely smart and well read and understands that all dogs are different and have different needs. I have two dogs with very different personalities and she was able to make both of my pets feel at home. I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and my husband and I decided to get treatment in NC (where I used to live and went to college). We had a dog walker, and she ended up being extremely unprofessional and didn't call us back for days. We contacted someone we trusted and she recommended Meagan. She was an excellent recommendation! I had to leave a bit last minute to get to NC for treatment and Meagan was able to take in my furkids. We had just adopted Gordy and don't know much about his past. We were worried because Gordy had some serious separation anxiety and this was the first time we put him into dog boarding. Meagan did an excellent job and Gordy did well with Meagan! Gordy just loves her, and I was so happy that he was okay. It was nice because it was one less stressor I had to deal with while I was getting my treatment plan for breast cancer in NC. She would send cute photos of my furkids that would put a smile on my face. Meagan is also understanding and flexible. I got sick in the terminal on our way back to Vegas. I ended up Having to pick up our dogs the next day. She was super understanding and allowed our dogs to stay an extra night. I HIGHLY recommend Meagan to care for your pets.
