She sent me before, during and after photos of my fur babies which helped me feel at ease. We enjoyed our experience and have booked our next appointment. Gen is a real deal. Loved her!

Well, this was the first time using Gen's grooming service for my Shih Tzu, Pepper. Gen has 3 of her own Shih Tzus, so I immediately felt very comfortable that Pepper would be in expert hands. First, the intake process is amazingly thorough. A great web design and online questionnaire. It almost felt like a college entrance exam ;) I also had a phone conversation with Gen while deciding which grooming service to use; she actually took my call while she was grooming a dog! Then, she sent me a follow-up message to offer good thoughts, knowing Pepper was going back to our Vet for a recheck on ear infections, and, to thank me for considering her services. On the day I dropped off Pepper with Gen, she came out of her home, picked up Pepper, and held her while we had a lengthy conversation about dog healthy food, and other pet products. Gen is extremely knowledgeable about Shih Tzu behavior and health issues. She is kind, caring, pleasant, and professional. My Pepper came back looking like a beautiful, clean pooch again. I'm waiting for Gen to get us scheduled for our next visit.

I left for 2 wks for vacation on the east coast back in July and needed someone to take my geriatric sweet pug for the 2 wks. Gus fit in wonderfully with her pack. We did a meet and greet first to make sure the dogs were compatible, And it was a success. Gen sent daily videos of Gus and updates on how he's been doing! I was so nervous and scared to leave him that long. Gen really helped my fears with all the updates. He almost didn't want to go home with me when I picked him up! Her prices were comparable to Kennel boarding places but I really loved she is KENNEL FREE!!! my dog was not cooped up in a cage all day he had free range of the areas they were allowed in. Plus she have is a hand written thank You card and a bunch of his favorite treats. I'll def be using her again!!!!

We recently met and booked Gennifer for service when we planned to be out of town with family. We were hesitant in finding the right match for our needs: in-home sitter, large breed dogs, elderly dog + medication needs, and very attached -- needing lots of attention. After first meeting Gennifer, I knew she was perfect because she came more well prepared for our meet and greet than I was. She asked questions that I wouldn't have even thought of. She's extremely thorough, so I knew she was going to take the best care of them (specifically the way we would want). Gennifer is even careful enough to ask how we normally feed/do things, so she kept things as familiar/routine as possible. We opted for 2 (1-hour) visits each day. Every visit, I had constant contact with Gennifer along with video updates, photos and updates on their appetite, mood, etc.! When it got colder, she even started putting Pinto's jacket on for the nights. It was sad knowing they were alone during the long days/nights, but I knew they were so well loved, played with, and cared for every time she visited. I HIGHLY recommend Gennifer for all your pet services! We will be using her, exclusively from now on!!

We have been using Gennifer's services for about a month now, and I have to say that Gen has been a lifesaver for us! We have two golden retrievers, including a puppy, that need drop-in visits during the day while we are at work. She is professional, courteous and reliable, and we feel very safe having her in our home while we are gone. Gen groomed Molly for the first time today. Molly had not been properly groomed in the past, and Gen took extra time with her and with me to ensure I felt comfortable. I had been thinking of taking Luna to 'Gen B's Happy Paws' for quite a while, however, hadn't committed (for one reason or another) until just recently & quite honestly, was beyond impressed with Gennifer's knowledge & professionalism. She took her time to get to know Luna, her characteristics, her likes/dislikes, her eating habits, & much more. It truly made us feel very comfortable with our decision in allowing her to groom her. We left our pup with Gen overnight and we couldn't be happier. Gen took great care of her and kept providing us updates to give us peace of mind. When we picked her up- Gen gave us some home made doggie ice cream to take and even a goodie bag for us humans. Great experience! Only thing is that the pricing can get a bit steep for longer stays but given how good everything was, I can see why she charges the amount she does. I was recommended to Genbhappypaws by my vet. I was a little reluctant as my little guy seems to be high maintenance and has separation anxiety. After meeting her, I was reassured and prayed he would be fine. An absolute 10/10! We had a last minute scheduling conflict that meant all of our go-to family and friends were unavailable to watch our little man and we were worried about boarding him with a large company that watches dozens of dogs at one time as he gets easily overwhelmed. Gen not only was able to watch him in a small and intimate setting but was also able to work with us in quickly scheduling a meet & greet to ensure that it would even work out for both parties in the first place. During our pup's stay, she was extremely communicative and sent many pictures and videos of him and kept us up to date with how he was doing which helped ease any worries. She even reached out a few days later to make sure he was still doing okay which was above and beyond. I feel so safe and comfortable having Gen watch the most import member of our family and will have her as our #1 option moving forward! read more

My husband and I have never had someone dog sit for us who we did not know. But Gennifer made us feel at ease. She came by to meet our dogs and they were in love which helped a lot. We had her come by few times a day when my husband went out of town and it helped so much. she made sure to send pictures of our dogs having fun and we will definitely be using her in the future. We have 4 dogs and she took amazing care of them. Side note I never get a picture of all 4 of them but she has the power to make it happen. read more

Gen is absolutely amazing with our fur baby. He feels so comfortable with her. She also offers Door to door taxi service. She picks your furbaby up and brings them back home when you are ready. We used Gen for in house dog sitting for 10 days. She was so good with our senior and special needs fur babies:) She treats them as if they are family! A stress free experience for both pets and owners. Gen not only took the dogs on daily walks , feedings twice a day with supplements needed. I wish I could give 100 stars! Freyja was a rescue pup that we got as a baby. She was raised with other dogs and did great but as she got a we bit older that was no longer the case. While she LOVES humans, she was not fond of my late Great Dane, she'd have full on dog fights which caused a lot of issues, stress and a bit of ptsd for me. We had to section off areas so they would never cross paths. Fast forward 6 months, we get a puppy thinking since 1- he's a boy & 2- a sweet baby she should be okay and they will eventually be friends. That was NOT the case. She tried to maul him the first time she met him. That was quite devastating for us to say the least and the thought of rehoming the pup or giving up on her was not an option so, this is when we get ahold of Caleb. We signed her up for board and train and while waiting for her turn we did socializations and some one on one training with both her and the pup she dislikes so much. Two weeks ago we dropped her off for her stay. Over the two weeks Caleb worked with Freyja and our boy Finn. Freyja made new doggo friends, which is huge in its self while learning all the other great things she needed to learn. Today, Caleb brought her home, he walked her in to the house with my boy Finn, one on either side of him. My heart sank and smiled all at the same time. I never imagined her being okay with being that close to him with out trying to attack him. While we still have plenty of work and fine tuning to do. I am so happy and great full for the difference Caleb has made in our girl Freyja. I am so thankful. ------------------- Now for the boring stuff... LOL Cost was average for the area. I had researched a handful everywhere between here and San Diego. Communication was fantastic! Angela is on it! She is super helpful and friendly. Caleb would shoot me super cute videos, which I loved getting and loved sharing her progress with my friends. Caleb was referred by a rescue friend so, I already trusted he was a good guy, but he genuinely is great, knowledgeable and both he & Angela truly care about the doggos they care for / train. -------------- Lastly... this picture says it all.... I have been waiting for this from day one after I started following the Dogs gone Sane IG. I am SO HAPPY to have received it. My Freyja with her friends.

It has been a very difficult time for my cat Bastu…read more However, I have found the facility to be very nice, and Bastu received prompt assistance for her problems! First, she was hospitalized for 24 hours. While there are still some things that I am trying to understand, the IV support made a big difference in her health. My understanding is that this is very important for cats with pancreatis. After going some time without eating, I could tell that she felt better after each treatment with fluids. I have not yet had a follow-up visit with my local vet to check Bastu's PrecisionPSL values. However, from two follow-up visits to CAEC, I can say that Bastu's SDMA values have returned to normal (after she was prescribed felimazole, and successful delivery of that medication for 3 days lead to more severe problems). The spike in BUN values from 21 (before felimazole) to 72 (after felimazole, and then decreased diet to the point of not eating any food) was reversed to 13 after treatment at CAEC (a little below normal, instead of very high above normal). While I am looking into more details (such as waiting to see if my Bastu is capable of returning to normal health) before following the procedures on the FDA website (https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/report-problem/how-report-animal-drug-and-device-side-effects-and-product-problems), my understanding is that my cat has a pre-existing kidney problem. The elevated T4 levels (used to define a diagnosis for hyperthydroidism) represented the body's defense for those kidney problems - high T4 can cause problems in itself, but the underlying kidney problems can also cause additional problems. Thank you very much - while improvement has been slow, Bastu and I certainly appreciate the help within the last week!

During an already traumatic and emotional situation, we trusted this clinic to provide the best possible care and ended up paying upwards towards $5,000 for treatment. Unfortunately, the suturing was done very poorly, and we were concerned about how his wounds were healing. We decided to seek a second opinion elsewhere, and the other veterinarian confirmed our concerns and provided proper treatment. Since then, Romeo has healed well. No pet owner expects perfection, especially in an emergency, but we do expect competent care that matches the cost of treatment. Spending thousands of dollars only to have to seek corrective care elsewhere was heartbreaking and frustrating. I would strongly encourage others to ask questions and consider getting a second opinion if something doesn't seem right.

So happy we found Gen! My wife and I took a 3 week trip out of the country in July, and for us finding someone who would care for Patches the way we do was the most important part of planning the trip. Not only has he never spent a night without us, we both work from home so he's rarely even without at least one of us and is very attached, so needless to say we felt bad and were worried about the potential negative effects being gone for so long might have on him. I tend to do a lot of research before doing anything and this was no different, so after eliminating numerous other sitters and boarding facilities we chose Gen. She's licensed, insured, first aid and CPR trained, continually educating herself, provides a clean and safe environment, follows your care instructions, and even has 2 qualified backup sitters in case of an emergency if something were to happen to her while she was caring for your pet. You can tell she loves what she does and she runs her business like a business, not just some side hustle. Patches loved her and her 3 dogs, and had tons of fun playing with them and all the other new friends he met which we got see in the daily videos and pictures she would send which made us feel better, and he also loved the homemade dog ice cream she made as a special summer treat! read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Gennifer and her pet sitting service, Gen B Happy Paws. Finding someone trustworthy and genuinely caring to look after my six beloved pets (2 dogs and 4 cats) felt like a tall order--but from the very first meeting, Gennifer completely put my mind at ease. Emma had her first appointment with Gen and we are so glad to have found her. Our girl is 14 years old and has some pain in her hips. Gen was so gentle and accommodating. She had a sling to help Emma through the grooming without pain. She sent photos and updates throughout her appointment so I would know how she was doing. She did a beautiful job with our girl and we look forward to going back to her. We had a bad experience with a previous groomer that told us Emma needed to be sedated. We knew that wasn't right. I was worried about taking her for continued grooming but found Gen and couldn't be happier. She confirmed that Emma did not need to be sedated and was a very good girl for her spa day. I recently moved to CA and needed someone to watch my two dogs for a few days while out of town. I'm very paranoid about leaving my babies with people I don't know because they are my family and also, weimaraners are unique and not all people understand their needs/behaviors. The moment Gen walked into my house for a meet and greet, I knew she would be the perfect fit. She kept me well informed of how my dogs were doing and sent me pics and videos. I can't say enough good things about Gen B Happy Paws! Gen is absolutely amazing -- she stepped in last minute to do a pop-in visit for my large dog, Zeus, and was so kind and professional. From the moment we spoke, I could tell she truly cares about the animals she works with. She sent me lots of updates and photos during the visit, which gave me total peace of mind. I am so grateful to have Genn care for my 5 kitties while I am away on business or on vacation. All of my fur babies are always happy and well-cared for by her. Genn provides regular updates with photos. She has a fantastic app available for booking, paying, and to receive messages with updates while you are away. I highly recommend her! She is amazing. We just had moved and with my 3 dogs there was a big concern about who was gonna take care of them when we were away. They never been at any doggy care. Looking around in different apps and pages I found Gennifer. She is a lifesaver!!! I'm glad we can count on her to do pop up visits since they are confortable at home. Gennifer did such an amazing job with my puppy Tillies first grooming!! She kept me updated with what was happening, and how Tillie was doing the whole time!! On top of it she also recommended brushes and different items to keep my puppy maintained in between groomings! Very clean space also, and was quick for everything that was done! Gen is hands down the best dog sitter around. My elderly dog absolutely loves staying with her. She treats my dogs as her own and sends me daily updates on how they are doing.
