George has been watching our two Great Danes for the past 6 years and has always taken great care of them. Our boys are calm and happy when we return even after week long trips. We know our dogs are in great hands with George. He is dependable and communicates with us well. We were nervous finding a pet sitter for the first time for our extra large breed dogs which can be quite intimidating, but when George came over to meet us and told us all his experience, said he was insured and told us he was completely comfortable watching our dogs, we were immediately at ease. George is extremely professional and truly cares about our dogs. We can't imagine having anyone else watch our Great Danes. I would recommend him to everyone looking for a pet sitter! read more

We've been working with George's Pet Sitting Service for nearly ten years, and I can honestly say he is one of the most professional, reliable, and thoughtful pet sitters we've ever had. This isn't just a side job for him--it's clear from day one that this is a career and a calling. When I first met George, I was immediately impressed by how thorough, prepared, and knowledgeable he was about animals and their care. Over the years, we've gone on trips ranging from a quick weekend away to a month and a half overseas, and every single time we've come home to happy, calm, and completely unstressed pets. That alone says so much. Knowing George is caring for our pets and our home gives me true peace of mind--which is absolutely priceless when you're trying to relax and enjoy time away. We met George about 20 years ago at a dog show type outing in Lake Elsinore. He has been coming to our home to feed, pick up poop, and give dogs attention while we are out of town, ever since then. He would walk them if we wanted, but don't require it. We have had 6 dogs during this time. small 11 pound dog, pit bull, mastiff mix and Great Danes. Just does meet and greet for new dogs and then he is just a text away. We trust him to have key to our home. We even called him once to go to our house to see if curling iron was left on. One time, a pipe burst in back yard and he turned off our water For us. When we were out of town he called us to tell us about fire on mountain near our house and said if needed would come get our dogs to keep them safe. Luckily was not needed. If you want someone you can count on an that loves animals, call George. read more

We could not have a better sitter for our pets than George. Always a great experience, regardless of the issues we present him with (ex: provide cat with needed meds), and oftentimes short notice regarding new medication/medication schedule. We can travel without worrying about our pets at home as we know George takes care of them. Highly recommend!!!!! read more

We are new here and know no one. Found George on Yelp, and he's nothing short of wonderful. He's responsive to texts, comes as promised, and - most of all - it doesn't ever really seem like we were ever gone! We have three cats who are pretty co-dependent after having us home during Covid, and they acted like NOTHING was wrong after we left for three days. We've had other pet sitters who left a disaster/biohazard zone, but after George, it feels like we never left. He takes this seriously and is great at his job. We've met him once and after three vacations, he permanently has the key to our house. read more

I have been using George's services for 2 years now....and I am so happy we found him. We first had a need for him when I broke my ankle 2+years ago and I couldn't walk my furbabies. I found George on Yelp and the rest as they say is history. But on a serious note, I am so grateful to George. We had never used anyone outside of your family for our dogs and I was a little skeptical, but George soon won me and my husband over. He came to the house and let us meet him in person and he had well thought out questions for our current and future needs. He was excellent and quickly put our minds at ease. We have been using him ever since. He is kind and compassionate with your animals and highly professional as well. Thanks George. read more

We found George as his daughter was in the same ballet class as ours. He had his shirt on and my wife came home and said we should give him a call since we were leaving on a trip soon. George came out and did a meet and greet with us and the dogs. We found out that he is fully licensed and insured and does it full time. He was really nice and the dogs got along with him great. We have used him twice now and trust that we can leave him to take care of our animals while we are gone. He treats our animals as if they are his own and does it at a very fair and reasonable price. We would recommend George to anyone looking for a pet sitter while they are gone. Thanks George! read more

We have a cat (Casper) and a dog (Sancho). Our fur babies are family. We love them so much. Whenever we have gone out of town, we have boarded them at a local pet resort. Although we have been very happy with the pet resort, we wanted to try leaving them at home with a pet sitter to avoid unnecessary stress. However, finding someone who we could trust not only with our pets but also our home was not easy. I first heard about George through my running group. George's wife belongs to my running group. I figured we would give him a try. We were not expecting to be blown away! George came to our home for a meet and greet and we were super impressed by him. He was very well organized and answered all of our questions and eased our concerns. He took notes and went over everything! One of the things that made us feel more comfortable was that he was bonded and insured. A concern of mine was how Sancho would react when George came into our home without us being home. Turns out Sancho loves him! Since then we have used George multiple times and we could not be more pleased with his services. Not only does he care for our pets, he also picks up poop, picks up mail, waters plants, takes out trash and more! We are so happy to have found him! We highly recommend George's Pet Sitting and we will continue to use his services. Thank-you George! read more

I have used George half a dozen times now, and I always return home to find my two dogs very happy. It's very important to me not to worry when I'm traveling. George gives me peace of mind and sends me pics of them too! Thanks George! You're the best!! read more

George provided pet sitting for me during the holidays. First, he scheduled a meet and greet, getting very detailed instructions about the cats, their habits, and my expectations. He is friendly, low-key and the cats liked him instantly. I arranged for him to visit twice daily, take the trash in and out, and make the house look lived in. He also brought all packages in so I didn't worry about thieves. He often texted the status of the cats. I relaxed and could enjoy my holidays without worrying about the house or my animals. We came home to happy, contented cats and a secure home. George did a great job and I highly recommend his pet sitting services. read more

We have been using George for many years. He is the best!!! I trust him completely with my 2 mini aussie dogs and my home as well. When i am out of town he would come by the house to feed them, check in on them, walk them and by the time I return home, I would have the happiest doggies ever. They love his visits. George is great with my schedule even when we had last minute request. He is very dependable, trustworthy and a very nice guy. I highly recommend his services. In March, we had to leave the area due to a job relocation. We will miss George very much. Thank you George for always taking care of my precious pups. read more

We love George's service the past two times we were away. We know we can depend on him. Thanks for the great service!

Piece of mind. Who wants to go out of town and 'hope' the next door kid or relatives look out for your loved ones ? Gerorge is as professional as they get and offers piece of mind! We can travel without using strange boarding kennels that charger too much and our dogs usually got sick. George is the way to go! read more

No worries while we were away. George visited us and our two dogs prior to our departure for a weekend getaway, just to make certain everyone was comfortable and familiar. Our dogs were at ease, which placed us at ease, so we could have a relaxing weekend. George had a remarkable mellow, yet authoritative, demeanor with our dogs. They knew who the pack leader was/is and wag their tails upon his arrival. George's Pet Sitting Service far exceeds the service of an impersonal kennel and foreign environment for our dogs. I have used George for about 5 years now. I am always pleased. He adores animals & is very reliable. He goes the extra step when I am out of town. He takes great care of my pets and my house. He does whatever you need when you are away, like getting bringing in you newspaper, getting you mail & watering your plants. He keeps good records, so I when I book with him, he only has to ask if there have been any changes. (New pets, different food, etc.) I have given him an extra key, so just a short phone call & my animal care is taken care of. Easy! Also, when we are away, it's good to know that he is walking through our house every day. I hear stories about people returning home after vacation & finding they had a pipe burst & water running for a week, yikes! That wouldn't happen if George was there. I even used his services when I was home recovering from foot surgery, but not mobile. read more

My husband and I travel frequently and it's always been a huge concern for us leaving our four dogs behind (two of which are quite elderly and have health issues). We were referred to George by our vet and we no longer worry about the home front while George is in charge and on the job. We know that he will feed, medicate and more importantly play with our dogs and keep them happy and healthy. AND he makes sure that the homestead is cared for as well. We recently experienced a broken sprinkler valve and what could have been a disaster for us after one week away was repaired before we arrived home. George worked very hard to get it fixed, something that would not have happened if the dogs were in a kennel. He always remembers to take out our trash and offers to bring in mail, water plants, whatever it takes to keep things cared for while we are away. He makes sure that our pool, grove and lawn service are in order and when we come home, the dogs are happy and our home is in perfect condition. He even scoops the poop and cleans up any accidents the older dogs might have in the house! We would not hesitate to refer George to anyone in his service area. read more

George has a rare combination of qualities that make him the ideal pet sitter: He really cares about and connects with pets and their people--even my very shy cat was playing with him on the first day--and he's very professional, systematic and responsible.
