So far this is amazing. Caleb is both sweet and gentle along with being a magic dog whisperer.

This is the review I have been impatiently waiting to do and I am so stoked to finally be able to write it and share this picture of my fur kid, Freyja (the white goofball on the end) Let me just start with... I wish I could give 100 stars! Freyja was a rescue pup that we got as a baby. She was raised with other dogs and did great but as she got a we bit older that was no longer the case. While she LOVES humans, she was not fond of my late Great Dane, she'd have full on dog fights which caused a lot of issues, stress and a bit of ptsd for me. We had to section off areas so they would never cross paths. Fast forward 6 months, we get a puppy thinking since 1- he's a boy & 2- a sweet baby she should be okay and they will eventually be friends. That was NOT the case. She tried to maul him the first time she met him. That was quite devastating for us to say the least and the thought of rehoming the pup or giving up on her was not an option so, this is when we get ahold of Caleb. We signed her up for board and train and while waiting for her turn we did socializations and some one on one training with both her and the pup she dislikes so much. Two weeks ago we dropped her off for her stay. Over the two weeks Caleb worked with Freyja and our boy Finn. Freyja made new doggo friends, which is huge in its self while learning all the other great things she needed to learn. Today, Caleb brought her home, he walked her in to the house with my boy Finn, one on either side of him. My heart sank and smiled all at the same time. I never imagined her being okay with being that close to him with out trying to attack him. While we still have plenty of work and fine tuning to do. I am so happy and great full for the difference Caleb has made in our girl Freyja. I am so thankful. ------------------- Now for the boring stuff... LOL Cost was average for the area. I had researched a handful everywhere between here and San Diego. Communication was fantastic! Angela is on it! She is super helpful and friendly. Caleb would shoot me super cute videos, which I loved getting and loved sharing her progress with my friends. Caleb was referred by a rescue friend so, I already trusted he was a good guy, but he genuinely is great, knowledgeable and both he & Angela truly care about the doggos they care for / train. -------------- Lastly... this picture says it all.... I have been waiting for this from day one after I started following the Dogs gone Sane IG. I am SO HAPPY to have received it. My Freyja with her friends. read more

Caleb and Angela are the best! They are patient, calm and so caring to your dog. My Buster loves going to socialization and day trips with them. I have seen such an improvement in his leash reactivity problem. Caleb has taught me how to better communicate with him and has given me so many tips to deal with his naughty behavior at home. Caleb and his wife are true angels here on earth. I took my foster dog and another persons foster to Caleb and he really was the answer we needed. I had a very very very fearful foster that wouldn't approach anyone. Within a few minutes with Caleb our sweet foster approached and even sat by Caleb. I do have to say I think someone people just have something inside their hearts dogs can sense and Caleb is one of them. An entire rescue organization trusts him and that speaks volumes on his ability to read our fur babies. You won't go wrong with Caleb and his wife! We LOVE Caleb and Angela but Brodo loves them the most. After our last pup became unfriendly with other dogs, we decided we wanted to make sure we didn't let that happen with this one. Right when we rescued brodo as a puppy, we brought him to dogs gone sane and after a couple weeks of socialization sessions, he was off on the pack walks! We are 3 years in now and brodo somehow knows when it's Friday (recently realized he knows because it's trash day and he sees the cans on the street. Lol!). They take such great care of all the pups. It's so nice knowing he's in such great hands and hanging out with other furry friends on a weekly basis. Definitely recommend for anyone's pup. Caleb is an amazing trainer . Clearly loves the dogs and how he helps. We have been having our girl attend his group days for over a year. She had been abused, and overbred, lacked confidence when we rescued her. She is a pit/ bull dog with the sweetest disposition. Doing so well now thanks to Caleb and Angela. We adopted our new dog Cody from Dogs Gone Sane (who worked with I.C.A.R.E. dog rescue) and have nothing but great things to say about our experience with them. Caleb and Angela were so helpful and their love of dogs is obvious from the way the interact with them. Before adopting, we had to make sure our new dog got along with our old dog, who is a very nervous little guy. Caleb was great about guiding us through our first meet and greet. Shortly after adopting our new dog we needed to go out of town and we decided to use them to board Cody since he already knew them. They did a wonderful job taking care of him while we were gone and he looked happy and healthy when we picked him up. We took our 1 and a half year old Doberman to Caleb. Caleb is amazing!!!!! Within the first 5 minutes we started noticing a difference. We rescued our dog 2 months ago. He was never walked or socialized, so we had a very hard time walking him. He gets overly excited around other dogs and just goes crazy. We are working on the walking exercises Caleb taught us. We rescued a Saint Bernard (Bear) and then COVID kept us from getting him out and about. He was not socialized from the previous owner (likely backyard breeder) & COVID set us back in socializing him early on. He was anxious, scared, & very reactive around EVERYTHING/EVERYONE. We contacted dogs gone sane and met for a consult (and Bear was acting crazy). We agreed board and train was best and got scheduled. While waiting for board and train we did some training sessions as well and noticed some improvement. Then, after board and train our pup was so much more improved and less reactive. We no longer avoid having people over and although Bear is not "the life of the party" he's much more comfortable. We have also done a few community walks (which are FREE) where Caleb will assist anyone throughout the walk. We also love sending him there for day trips (Bears looks like he's seeing his best friend when Caleb or Angela pick him up) and have boarded him for a weekend trip. *it's very important to understand if you choose Dogs Gone Sane for training: you are getting trained as well. You will see "the method" and then be observed/critiqued. Our training was focused on what WE need to do and how WE should be acting to better manage any problem areas. Caleb is fabulous with our rescue dogs. He has such a breadth of services. We took two of our dogs to his home and they now get along much better than before. One dog is a nervous and scared dog when not with us and he was caring and gentle with him. Also, when our dogs have gone on pack walks, they come back well behaved and seem to have truly enjoyed the walk. No clue how he gets them all to sit for pictures and then they all get into his van in an orderly manner. He's quiet and gentle with the dogs with very reasonable rates.
