The haircut and bath itself was good. What I wasn't a fan of was the communication before the appointment. I booked an appointment online and got a confirmation. Then after a day or two, they reached out to change the time. Alright, not a big deal. They told me that my groomer wasn't available on that day/time. So, they gave me another groomer at a different time. Not a problem. Another few days go by and I get a text that they need to change the time again. Oh okay. It's changed again. Okay, at least we are set. That was my train of thought. The day of the appointment, I get a text saying would it be okay if I came in 30 minutes? Ummm the appointment was at 4:00pm and you are asking to arrive at 11:30am. I'm at work at this point, trying to get ahold of my husband who is at work, so we can try to rearrange our schedules to accommodate the complete change in time. Honestly, my husband was upset that this was happening while he's at work. I was also irritated about this last minute change and only 30 mins notice. That's just not okay. You can't do that to people. I understand that they have you sign paperwork and let you know that there's a 2 hour window for your appointment. So, you do have to be available within a 2 hour window. Which is fine. If my appointment is at 4pm then the 2 hour window would be around that, and it definitely would not include 11:30am. That's way out of the window so they weren't even following their own policy. That's frustrating to me. Not sure my husband and I will pay for this service again, just because of the appointment time changing so much. It's unfortunate because we do like the grooming for our dog. Original appointment was at 8am. They changed it to 4:45pm. Then they changed it to 4pm. They tried to change it to 11:30 last minute/ on the day of the appointment. That's just not professional. The whole point of the mobile grooming is that it is convenient and easy. This experience was neither.

I dreaded getting a new groomer as I had my last one for 12 years. I am so happy Autumn came into our lives. She is wonderful with my pups. My 17 year old pup dreads being groomed but with Autumn he has quit shaking and isn't stressed. My yorkie always looks beautiful when Autumn is done with her. The one unusual thing about Vanity Fur is they set your appointment time. If she is able, Autumn will call and give me an opportunity to move the time if it's more convenient. Another thing I like Is the grooming report and photo I get each time. We've been using Vanity Fur for over a year now and Autumn has never let us down. We recommend Vanity Fur and especially Autumn. She's an asset to the business.

We can't say enough great things about Vanity Fur! Our furry family member, Teddy, had his grooming appointment today and WOW -- he looks absolutely amazing and ready for fall! From the moment Autumn walked up as usual her warm, professional, and clearly passionate about what she does; treating Teddy with such care and came out looking like a true show dog -- soft, clean, and perfectly trimmed with a cute seasonal touch that had us smiling from ear to ear. I have been trying to find a groomer and I was putting it off. My fur baby is extremely attached and doesn't like going into anything or anywhere without me having to carry him. I didn't want to cause him to be upset with me, I have a wife for that. Once he was in place I left him in good hands with Autumn. She explained everything to me and the process and away I went. When my baby boy was done he looked handsome and smelt like a million bucks! Not that I know what a million bucks smells like, but he smelt good, was super soft, and he was gleaming with happiness. Autumn's workspace was immaculate, and that gave me an assuring vibe that my boy was with the right person and business. I can't thank Autumn enough for taking care of my boy. I was so happy, I texted the wifey and told her I scheduled for every 6 weeks to have my pup pampered. I know he's just a dog, but this dog has been with me from the time he was a puppy. I took care of him and treat him just like I treat my kids. I love him to death.

My Pomsky looks amazing! She's 22 lbs, and her full haircut and bath service came to $170. The groomer did a fantastic job and even picked her up from the backyard while I wasn't home, which was super convenient and really appreciated. The only thing I'd suggest is having a real person available to talk to on the phone instead of only automated options. I loved that they gave me a "report card" at the end with notes on how my dog did along with a cute photo. Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely book with them again!

Analisa was very patient with our very anxious stray dog we have taken on. We found him in rough shape infested with fleas,ticks, and parasites. After treating his infestations, vaccinations , and many vet visits it was time to deal with his matted hair. He doesn't love baths and won't stay still but Analisa took her time and got him all cleaned up and looking so handsome. We couldn't be happier with the service. He finally gets to be a regular puppy.

Autumn has come out twice to groom our German shepherd, Sasha, and she does an incredible job! Our dog comes back inside happy and smelling so good. She even has a little bandana on. Phenomenal experience working with Vanity Fur and their amazing team!!! I could not be more appreciative at how attentive they were to their messages and letting me know of their last minute availability. They accommodated my need to find a last minute grooming for two dogs due to my poor planning these last few weeks during a move. Sierra was wonderful to work with over the appointment scheduling and connecting me to Lucy. When Lucy who was ahead of schedule that day, Sierra enabled me to have them show up at my home within an hour. Lucy seemed kind, gentle and patient with the dogs. Our two dogs looked perfect and smelled so clean and fresh. Their coats looked bright and soft. Lucy did a beautiful job on their grooming. Their trimmed their fur and shedding/brushing their winter coats made a big difference. I wish I'd found them sooner. Today was my first time using Vanity Fur Mobile Pet Grooming. Autumn was my groomer today for my 5 fur babies. She was punctual and very patient. I have 2 Great Pyrenees puppies and today was their first time getting groomed. One was very cooperative and one was not. I also have a dalmadoodle that can be very difficult. Autumn was very quick and efficient and explained the pros and cons for each of my babies after each groom. I got a report card with pictures as they were finished with their visit. I made a recurring appointment. It was very convenient and my girls loved Autumn. Thank you Autumn! read more

Vanity Fur is AMAZING! It was our first time using a mobile groomer, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The groomer was so sweet and patient with my puppy, who can be a little wiggly and unsure. She took her time, made my pup feel comfortable, and she came out looking so clean and cute! Overall, the dog had a nice haircut had to trim him down due to lack of brushing, but the Groomer did good cutting him. We did ask for his face to be cleaned up when we got him back. His face wasn't touched at all, and the groomer accidentally cut his private area too short and left a little cut on my puppy. That is now looking to be infected or rash. read more

Disappointed with making and keeping appointments for my dog. I understand there are changes to groomers availability, but if I make an appointment at 8AM that was sent to me and I accept..then why change it to 6PM via TEXT. Not suitable. They give a 2 hour window for arrival and have explicit expectations of those who make appointments, but cannot be considerate of people's schedules or lives. read more

I had both my dogs done by Lucy today. My cocker spaniel mix looks 100% better. I loved how she gave me updates to the text and sent me pictures of any problems that she saw with her and gave me recommendations. But I can't say enough when it came to my Jack Russell terrier and getting her nails cut I couldn't believe she was able to do it. I recommend her for any aggressive dogs like my Jack Russell is when it comes to getting the nails done. I think I found my forever groomer thank you so much. read more

My Aussie is 13 and not very active and cost $95. Walked out spending $195 in total. That's just ridiculous. That's about $50 more than any other place I've been over the past several years. When I questioned it, he said, as long as they come monthly, the price will stay the same. If you miss, the price may go up. More? Really? I was better off going to Petco. Anyway, unless your money grows on trees. save some money and do some research.

I'm glad my local Petco has this. You have to pay at the dog groomer cash register. The station itself has 3 tubs and beware the floor's are wet! You will also get very wet even though they provide you with an apron which is nice. They do provide the doggie shampoo but we bought flea shampoo at Petco. The whole process is pretty easy. Dogs don't like it but it beats doing it at home. It is far more affordable doing it yourself than at the groomers. They gave her a pin and bandanna. I'm happy with the results of this groomer. I see why they have good reviews. My Pomeranian looks good and she smelled super nice afterwards too! They have an online booking system that is easy to use. You can book online whenever you want. Love that convenience at your fingertips.

During our first visit, Stacey did an excellent job, but unfortunately, after her accident she has not been available when making an appointment. This led us to try other groomers. Initially, I was understanding when my dog was shaved down to less than half an inch, thinking it would be a fresh start and that I could manage his coat better with regular brushing. Fast forward almost 6 months, and after diligently caring for his coat, we felt ready to have him trimmed. He had grown back beautifully and was fluffy, with no mats except for a small area under his ears, which we had specifically discussed needing a trim. I personally dropped him off and had a thorough conversation with the groomer, expressing my desire for a trim to maintain his fluffiness. She assured me that it wouldn't be an issue as he looked "great". To my dismay, when I returned, I found that he had been shaved down to less than half an inch again! I was extremely frustrated, especially after our detailed conversation. They didn't even call me to discuss the decision before proceeding. It was evident that they had not followed my grooming requests, opting instead for the quickest and easiest solution. I cannot recommend this groomer if you wish to keep your doodle's coat fluffy. My dog was not matted, and it's clear that they did not even attempt to follow my instructions. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

It has been a very difficult time for my cat Bastu…read more However, I have found the facility to be very nice, and Bastu received prompt assistance for her problems! First, she was hospitalized for 24 hours. While there are still some things that I am trying to understand, the IV support made a big difference in her health. My understanding is that this is very important for cats with pancreatis. After going some time without eating, I could tell that she felt better after each treatment with fluids. I have not yet had a follow-up visit with my local vet to check Bastu's PrecisionPSL values. However, from two follow-up visits to CAEC, I can say that Bastu's SDMA values have returned to normal (after she was prescribed felimazole, and successful delivery of that medication for 3 days lead to more severe problems). The spike in BUN values from 21 (before felimazole) to 72 (after felimazole, and then decreased diet to the point of not eating any food) was reversed to 13 after treatment at CAEC (a little below normal, instead of very high above normal). While I am looking into more details (such as waiting to see if my Bastu is capable of returning to normal health) before following the procedures on the FDA website (https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/report-problem/how-report-animal-drug-and-device-side-effects-and-product-problems), my understanding is that my cat has a pre-existing kidney problem. The elevated T4 levels (used to define a diagnosis for hyperthydroidism) represented the body's defense for those kidney problems - high T4 can cause problems in itself, but the underlying kidney problems can also cause additional problems. Thank you very much - while improvement has been slow, Bastu and I certainly appreciate the help within the last week!

During an already traumatic and emotional situation, we trusted this clinic to provide the best possible care and ended up paying upwards towards $5,000 for treatment. Unfortunately, the suturing was done very poorly, and we were concerned about how his wounds were healing. We decided to seek a second opinion elsewhere, and the other veterinarian confirmed our concerns and provided proper treatment. Since then, Romeo has healed well. No pet owner expects perfection, especially in an emergency, but we do expect competent care that matches the cost of treatment. Spending thousands of dollars only to have to seek corrective care elsewhere was heartbreaking and frustrating. I would strongly encourage others to ask questions and consider getting a second opinion if something doesn't seem right.
