Everything went Great! Adam and his assistant are the absolute best in the business. If you want the best-call Gentle Spaw. You will not regret it. At prices you can afford. read more

Adam is everything that you would want in a groomer! He is kind, caring, a terrific groomer, and has a gentle presence about him, which makes my 14-year-old dog willing to go with Adam to be groomed. Adam gave my miniature poodle a great cut and made her look like a sweet little teddy bear. Best of all, my dog Molly seemed quite comfortable with Adam. With the previous mobile groomer, Molly came back restless and had a so-so cut. Now that we have found the Gentle Spaw, I would not use anyone else. read more

I called and booked an appointment with ADAM. He was very ATTENTIVE and professional. We haven't had grooming in a while because our 2 puppies got some major and minor cuts from our previous groomer so we were a bit cautious about finding another groomer for them but, ADAM said they are experienced and so glad we decided to book with them because... First of all: They were on time! Actually, a couple of minutes early... VERY NICE... MARY did an amazing job with our 2 babies! They had a full length of hair, very long nails and over due cleaning for their eyes, teeth, etc. I just asked if she can please give them a FULL BODY SHAVE and cut their very long nails and she did such a VERY NICE & SMOOTH cut that made them look so much younger than before... So GLAD we decided to put our trust in the GENTLE SPAW. MARY went the extra mile and exceeded our expectations. Buddy tends to WIGGLE & CRY during grooming but, Mary handled him like a pro! Thank you Mary! I highly recommend the GENTLE SPAW!!! We will definitely be giving them another call :) read more

My dog Winnie looked and felt fantastic after a gentle spa visit from Adam and his mobile service. Looking forward to using his services from now on. Thank you read more

I have been using the Gentle Spaw services for about a year now. We use to go to grooming shops and felt it was too stressful for my dogs to be in a crate for 2 to 3 hours waiting. I was recommended for Gentle Spaw and couldnt be happier. They have their hands full with a 120 pound Golden Retriever, a 12 year old Golden Retriever that was a breeder dog, and a 3 year old Labradoodle. They are always on time, do exactly as I ask them to do with their grooming and I couldn;t be happier that I found them. We are lucky to have Groomer Maya help them out - she is wonderful and does a great job!! Thank you too Adam, we appreciate you both read more

We have been customers since January...I absolutely loved Ana...she was very good with my "weird" dog and my Aussie, too. I made my appointment 2 months ago, confirmed it with The Gentle Spaw on Sunday, but today, June 3rd at 9:00 am, she was a no show. I tried texting, calling and leaving voicemails with both her and the company line. No one has had the courtesy or professionalism to text or call me back. I would not recommend this mobile groomer. read more

Adam provided outstanding customer service and was extremely responsive when I reached out to schedule grooming services for my two dogs. They took exceptional care of my 17-year-old Golden and 7-year-old Poodle. I've deal with many groomers in the past, and this was by far the best experience I've had. The Gentle Spaw showed up ahead of schedule after contacting me and finished the services ahead of schedule. My dogs felt happy and they enjoyed their day of pampering! I would HIGHLY recommend their services, and they have made a client for life! read more

My toy poodle is 17 and this was the first time using Gentle Spaw. I am very impressed with the grooming results. Anna was on time and took on quite a job. Because of loyalty to my last groomer my poor baby Verdel had not been groomed in at least three months. I could no longer wait, so after I saw Gentle Spaw on the road in Temecula I decided to try them. My dog looks like a new dog! Thank you Anna for all your efforts! I will definitely be using Gentle Spaw from mow on. read more

I'm really upset that it has come to me writing an unfavorable review. We've been happy until recently. We confirmed an appointment with groomer and company. Groomer never showed. Called and texted company. Didn't hear back for two days. Found out a day later, our groomer was super sick. The message was not conveyed to us. I have since booked another appointment. Another no show. read more

This is my first time using a mobile groomer. As a veteran myself I 100% support veteran owned companies. I have to say I am beyond impressed with the services provided The Gentle Spaw. Mary came to my house and took care of my Husky and German Shepherd. She gave them a good bath, blew them out and left them looking and smelling amazing. Will definitely be using them again!! read more

Did not show up for booked appointment. When I reached out to find out if they were coming, I was told it would be a couple of hours! Why wouldn't you contact your customer to let them know you are going to be over 2 hours late? Poor communication. Will find another groomer. read more

We had a great experience with the Gentle Spaw. They came to our house on time and Brooke was amazing with our dog, Daisy. I highly recommend!!! read more

My puppy was traumatized after her 1st groom at petco and I vowed that would never happen again. I found the gentle spaw based on reviews and veteran owned. Mary is amazing and so compassionate, I received my puppy back just as her normal energetic self, if not happier, and she looked and smelled wonderful. I will definitely be asking Mary to come back and the gentle spaw has gotten a loyal customer. Thank you Mary so much for taking care of Wednesday! read more

The same thing happened to me! After a few years of grooming my dog they never showed for my April 10th at 3 confirmed appointment. No text, call or message. Just didn't show up. I understand if there's an emergency but have the courtesy to contact me! I waited all day. I had given them a 5 star review in the past. I'm very disappointed and somewhat irritated. I am still waiting for an explanation 4 days later. Not the way to run a successful business. read more

My rescue Chihuahua mix was groomed to the first time by Brooke two months ago since then I have been unable to get a hold of them. I would love to have them come back, but they don't return phone calls. read more

Used them once. Directly drawn to them to support veterans First appointment went well. Ana was on time worked well with my elderly GSD. 2nd appointment day of I got a call, truck broke down she would FYI me when repaired. Waited over a week nothing‍I kept texting asking for update. She finally text me and said repaired and gave me an appointment. Day of appointment...no show, no call. Have text and called Main number for explanation ...no call back . Total disappointment..she was great with my dog however extremely unreliable. Sad as it being veteran owned it was a draw. read more

No Way. They didn't clean the hair out of my baby's ears. I called Adam and he said I will get back to you. 5 days later and 3 voice mails he hasn't returned any of them. Brooke the groomer who did my baby did a great job. It's Adam I'm having this issue with. It's very poorly run. BEWARE!!! Their motto is if the groomer leaves to bad. They don't believe in backing their services. read more

So delighted I found this amazing pet groomer for my malamute and rat terrier. She was amazing with both pups. My malamute looks awesome!

Very pleased with the work. Mary was great and attentive. Understood what I was looking for and got the job done! Thanks again Mary!

What a great experience we had with The Gentle Spaw. We saw them at the Temecula July 4th parade and decided to give them a call. Not only could they get us in within a couple of days but they also do "Doodles!" I was not sure how I would like the at home service but I actually loved it! Ana did a super job cutting our dog Sofie, who was at least two months past her normal grooming schedule. Thank You The Gentle Spaw! I can tell that Sofie our golden doodle loved it too and feels so much better! read more

I used The Gentle Spaw for the first time in December 2024. Ana was awesome and loved how she was with my fur baby. I booked another appointment with her for March 8, 2025 at 9:15 am. I received a confirmation text regarding my upcoming appointment 1-2 days prior, I confirmed. Day of appointment 45 min passes and Ana did not show up. I reached out to the owner and Ana several times left VM's and texts asking if she still planned to keep my appointment, reason for running late, anything? Just trying to find out the issue. I reached out again about 1.5 hours past my appointment time and again NOTHING! Apparently from other yelp reviews this is a common problem with this company. They come to your first appointment, everything is great, you make another appointment, they don't show up, you try reaching out, no response. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this mobile groomer because they are unreliable and unprofessional. Unreliable because they don't show up to appointments and unprofessional in the sense they do not return calls or texts at the very least to give a reason as to why they didn't show. Apparently this mobile groomer doesn't need the business so don't use them. There are SO MANY other professional and reliable mobile groomers to choose from. DO NOT use The Gentle Spaw! read more

We have been on the search for a dog groomer for years, tried a lot of different groomers some good some horrible! We finally found what we were looking for a groomer that knows how to groom our standard poodle, our Toy poodle and our mixed breed. Mary treats our Girls like her own and we can tell she's good and cares when they are happy to see her! Give her a call... read more

I'm not sure how or why they only have 1 five star review! I booked with them after having several mobile groomers completely fail to respond to my requests to book. They were on time and did an amazing job. I didn't give Anna as much detail as she deserved in regards to how I wanted my pups cut to look. What I got was EXACTLY as I had hoped. She looked amazing. Anna put my dog at ease and you could tell she loves her job. Will use them over and over again! read more

Mary, from Gentle Spaw was just awesome... she took care of all 3 of our girls, and one huge advantage is they come to your home... our girls always suffer from a little Spa Day PTSD, BUT NONE after the Spa with Mary... All inclusive, Bath,Shampoo, Teeth brush, toe nails and cut... Thank you Adam... And Vets, support one of our own... Cheers, Brant read more

Great customer service!! Our dog took a turn for the worst and unfortunately we have to put him down this weekend and I wanted to get him one last bath to feel nice and clean. when every other dog groomer said no it was to late....The Owner of Gentle Spaw said YES!! He personally made time out of his day to help squeeze my dog into his busy schedule and get him cleaned one last time. This company will treat your pet as if it was their own. Great Job & Thank you!!! read more

Anna did a great job ! Appreciate her excellence and knowledge of bathing and grooming our medium sized dog so beautifully. Thank you

I can't say enough good things about The Gentle Spaw. One, it's hard to find mobile groomers who will take on big dogs, even if they are friendly breeds. I was so happy to see that the Gentle Spaw didn't discriminate. Two, my labrador has grooming anxiety due to some bad experiences at past groomers. Adam was very friendly and understanding when I explained the anxiety to him, and my dog was so happy afterward. Three, I had a bit of a grooming emergency and couldn't wait the few weeks it would take to get my dog on Adam's schedule. He generously agreed to work me in on a Sunday, which I cannot understate how grateful I am that he found a way to make things work for us. Last but not least, my dog looks freaking incredible. I've never seen her groomed so well. Her nails are neatly trimmed, her fur is shiny and soft, and she came back inside with the cutest little bandana. If you need someone who will go above and beyond for your dog, call Adam. He is worth every single penny. read more
